Zack awoke momentarily, feeling himself being dragged, before passing back out and hearing an engine start.

Hannah saw the old man clearly didn't hear her, so she simply jumped off the golf cart (it wasn't going that fast) and ran off into the woods towards the gun fire.

Vinashy turns, sweeping his scythe clean through several cultists, and begins carving his way though them, looking for Zack.

Hannah whipped what looked like a metal box out of her pocket. It expanded into a long rectangle, then a stock popped out one end and a scope came out of the top. It was her laser rifle. As if on cue, she spotted three armed cultists seconds before they spotted her, and she blasted all three of them. Laser rifles were based on concentrated heat, so they burst into a mix of agonizing screams, dark smoke, and the awful stench of flesh cooking.

She spotted another, but he ducked behind a rock as she shot, and instead the beam kept going, coincidentally past Vinashy's head, and hit a wall of his mansion, starting a fire immediately.

She wouldn't miss twice, and the cultist met a tortured end.

He swears in a strange language, and inhales, the fire dying out, leaving a charred section of the wall. "And who might you be, my dear lady?" He bows as he ducks a bullet, and shoots a hole in the chest of the gunman.

Despite her mandatory language lessons through Maniacles Corp, she didn't recognize whatever language Vinashy just used. However she could tell right off the bat that not only was he not a cultist, he was also a vampire. There were many that worked with Maniacles, but the vampires here were different than where she was from. Like Zack, she wasn't entirely sure he wouldn't attack her.

"I am here for..." She almost called him by his subject number, but didn't want to blow her cover "Zack Morgan. I know he was here." She said.

"Why? One sec, someone's trying to kidnap him." He runs with inhuman speed at the vehicle Zack was tossed into.

As Vinashy reaches the truck, a cultist, who happens to be a mage, blasts him in the face with a scorching fireball before hopping into the truck and speeding off.

Hannah ran after him, but made sure to keep behind him for exactly this reason; to see who she might be working with and how these cultists fought. Somehow, the truck reached a speed around 100mph in only a second. Which was impossible for a normal small semi. She continued pursuit.

He opens his mouth and eats the fireball, his veins glowing orange, and he tosses it back, now a bloody red.

The truck swerved out of the way as the fireball crashed and molten the area of ground it hit. The truck continued speeding, now around 130mph.

The pavement is surprisingly unaffected. Anything green or living is reduced to dust.
