"Well thats specific." Zack joked "Alright, well my enemies kind of want me dead too. They were these protesters from my college out west. I had to drop our again to get away from them."

Zack still withheld the part about his friends going missing and possibly being blamed for their disappearances. It seemed him and Vinashy shared a similar situation but he still didn't want to share everything.

"So why do these people want you dead?"

"Mostly because of the rumors and speculation that come from living alone in the woods."

Zack paused and raised his eyebrow

"They want to kill you just because you live alone in the woods?"

Zack thought this couldn't possibly be why. Then his mind drifted to a hypothetical scenario of what he would do if he himself lived in the woods.

"You say you tend to the forest, but have you ever considered writing novels? I mean, if I could afford to live by myself in the woods off my savings thats what I would do."

He smiles. "I have a vast library. Most of them I wrote."

"Science fiction? Fantasy? Cosmic Horror?" Zack asked. Zack was a fiction guy himself. He hoped Vinashy wasn't about to say he wrote erotica. That would be another level of awkward.

"Fiction, fantasy."

Zack himself was never much of a drinker, at least not as much as his friend John was. If Zack was alone he might have stuck with his plan of not consuming anything offered by his host, let alone asking for something, but when he performed that ritual during his occult phase, John's soul got absorbed into him.

With words that weren't his own, he asked "You got any beer?"

It wasn't Zacks will to ask this. It was like he was just controlled by someone else, which he sort of was.

"Beer? Maybe. Most likely got some wine around here somewhere."

Every time that Zack and John hung out, John was drunk, stoned, or both. He also liked coke whenever he could get it. On top of that, Vinashy had calmed Zack enough that he actually felt okay with drinking some wine form here, if it would make that inner voice shut up.

"Sure. I will take white or red. No preference."

"One sec." He walks into the kitchen, and opens cupboards and drawers until he pulls out a few bottles.

Virgil wasn't too keen on wine himself, but maybe Vinashy had something else for him. "I'm more of a soda person."

Deon was sitting in a tree, doing what he does best which was making evil plans that involved Price.

At home
Price had gotten out his guitar to play a bit of it while sitting in his room. To him, it was comforting, but since was late at night, he chose play softly so that way he wouldn't disturb any neighbors that might be asleep.

Juno was at his own home, curled up in cat form on his bed.

Golden was busy working on making newer and better minions in his lair. He couldn't wait to see the results once he finished building them.

Still in werewolf form, Joey began heading out of the forest. He was headed home, but he wouldn't mind meeting someone along the way.

Tyde had left his job by this point and was now at home. He was in the mist of making dinner for himself.

"Hum...soda, soda....I've got a bottle of coke, you want that?"

Zack relaxed a little and sipped some wine.
"Is either of you by some chance a history nerd? I am." Zack asked, figuring that Vinashy might have some antiques or ancient artifacts in his mansion.

He smiles, but it still looks....unnerving. "History? What part? I have artifacts and heirlooms from across the world." He runs his finger around the lip of a wine glass that wasn't there a moment ago, filled with a red drink.

Zack loved history, but more specifically ancient history. Ancient Europe during and before the Roman empire interested him the most.

"I'm really interested in Rome and other European civilizations during that time. I never got around to reading much about it but I've always found it fascinating. So what kinds of heirlooms do you have?"

"Tomes, mummies, jewelry, weapons, tapestries. If you can think of it, I probably have it."

Zack's eyes lit up as he moved them from his wine glass to Vinashy.

"Mummies? You have...mummies?"

"At least three. Still in their respective sarcophagi."

Zack smiled a little. He even forgot about his car and his situation.

"Hey man, no pressure here...I'm just asking but do you mind if I see them?"

[Shadow Dragon]

"Sure. Just don't enter the room I keep them in, as it's temperature controlled, and they are very, very old." He walks down the hall, and the wine glass simply disappears. He opens a panel on a dead bolted door, revealing a clear wall.
