She nods. She then closes her eyes again and sighs. "I just need some sleep....' she said as she curled up in his arms. She went still as a broad. Her breathing so soft it was hard to hear.

He looks at her, his eyes full of fear. "Don't go to sleep Art!" He begins running to get her out of the chilling dark, doing his best not to listen to the sound of her dress tearing further. "We're almost there." He feels the cold beginning to seep into her, and he does his best to go faster.

"Im....Fine....' she said to him as her head rolled to the side. She was still trying to keep awake. "I'm fine...." she said to him. She was trying to think of how much Ivy would kill her for this. She sighed. "Ivy's going to kill me...." She said to him. "after she helps me....Shes going to Slaughter me...." she gave a light laugh her eyes still closed. "And dont even get me started on Adam....We just..." she said with a sigh. "Just get me home...." she said to him.

[Shadow Dragon]

He keeps running, until he stops abruptly. "We're here." He begins forcing his way out of the shadows, and he's clearly exhausted. "Come on. Just a little further." He begins dragging himself out of the shadows, the shadows in the living room rippling as he pushes though it. "So....tired." His face is beaded with sweat from his dead sprint." He begins stepping out, ensuring that he doesn't drop her as he stumbles out of the darkness. "Ivy! Where are you!?"

Ivy was checking food in the oven, when Devon calls for her. “I’m right- shit!” She smells the sharp tang of blood, and, without an oven mitt, grabs the tray and shoved it back in the oven. She snatches her medical bag and runs to Devon. She takes Arty from Devon and lays her flat on her back. Ivy checks for breathing. “Sorry about this,” she apologizes to Arty, then slaps her hard across the face. She tears the rest of the top of her dress off so she can clean the wound.

She looks at her. "Ow...." she said as she smiled. "AND your going to kill me arnt you?" she asked her. She sighed. "Im ok thanks to Devons fast thinking....We got attacked by a monster and it ran off after it saw how pissed Devon got." she said. Most of the wound had healed there was still a deep cut but she was fine for the most part.

Ivy tends to the deep cut. “No, killing you would be too easy,” she says bluntly. “And yes thank you, Devon, but no Arty, your not okay if my name is being belted.” She blows her hair out of her own face, and rips the bandage with her teeth.

She sighs as she closes her eyes. "Im just glad Devon thought fast enough to get me to some water....' she said to her. She smiled as she did. "Really, Im fine, He gave me some Ambrosia....I just need to rest for a bit...." She said. "Again....i would probably be dead if it had not been for him." she smiled as she watched Ivy. She gently grabbed her and hugged her.

Ivy makes a small sound of surprise when Arty hugs her, then hugs her back, carefully avoiding the wound. “Please be more careful. I can’t afford to lose you too.” Something changes in her face, and she contemplates venting to her bestie about her conflict.

Jacob walked over and looked at them.we could do a healing spell' looks like they have it under control.' Jacob said to sobek then walked back to the food. Putting on the mitts he checked on it and seeing that it was ready he took it out and laid it out eh counter. Then taking off the oven mitts he walked back over to everyone.

She smiled and nodded. "I will....it just took us by surprise." she said to her. "So hows it going with Crocodile boy?" she asks playfully trying to get her to cheer up. "Adam and i have solved our differences." she said to her with a smile. She let her go and winced. "Ow....' she moaned as she pulled herself onto the couch.

Jacob looks at arty" you do know I'm right here? " he says in a flat voice. wow Adam was forgiven very easily but we arent? That's dumb' I'll just deal with it 'good answer. He stands there with his arms crossed. He's sighs as he leans against the counter watching everyone with a blank look on his face.

“Well we-“ Ivy starts to explain her situation with Jacob, but stops when Arty informs her that her relationship with Adam has been mended. “Lucky you,” she mutters under her breath. Then she smiles at Arty, nudging her gently, “That’s great. I’m happy for you two. She frowns at Arty’s moan. “What hurts? What can I get you? If your hungry, the food will be ready in a few minutes.”

She looks at him and grins. "Well you are the resident Croc..." she said to him with a shrug. She winced again. "Gods....Anyone got any REALLY strong pain killers?" she asked them. She leaned her head back and sighed. She was glad Devon was able to get her to water in time. She pulled out her phone and then smiled as she texted him thank you. "And girl it smalls AMAZING!" she said to her. "No wonder Nona love you....And tell me....I mean hes NOT COMPLETELY forgiven....but i think we can get it to work out...." she said to her with a smile. "Just sit down and talk....Thats what we did....Oh and make him Promise not to do it to you again." she said to her in a low whisper

Ivy purses her lips. “I think I’ve got something.” She reaches into her medical bag and pulls out an orange pill bottle. She passes Jacob to go into the kitchen without so much as a glance in his direction, and comes back with a glass of water. She sets the cups on the end table by the couch, and dumps two pills into her hand. She offers them to Arty.

She smiles as she takes them from her. "Thank you Ivy." she said to her. She then grabbed the water and took the pills. "You know having a med student in our team is more than useful...." she said to her with a smile. "And me over here....The blue bombshell.....Im nothing but a surfer and a model." she said to her. She smiled as she said this.

Jacob stands up fully and begins to walk to the door pulling in his hoodie. " I'm going outside. " He said then walked outside. Grabbing his favorite chips out of the duat he opened the bag up and started eating them. so are you going to give her that carving?' maybe some other time buddy as you can see she hates me right now.' very true. He sighed and looked at the horizon with a faraway look in his eye as he subconsciously messed with a wooden crocodile carving on his amulet that the aborigines have him.

Ivy raises an eyebrow. “You control water and you can talk to animals and cause earthquakes. So you can please be quiet,” Ivy grins in a teasing manner, a sliver of the old her surfacing. “And I’m not even a med student yet, I just started college,” she adds, her voice quietening.

She shrugs. "BUT!!!!" she protested. "There you go....thats the Ivy i wanted to see. Look i know your mad at him....And to a point....i can get that....Adam thought it would have been better to just have me forget about him....But if its one thing you and i both know, its that no one can control how the mind will react to something....We found ourselfs missing them even if we did not realize it....GO talk to him....It might help you get some understanding as to what he was thinking...." she said to her. "Im doing this cause i want to see you Happy, I have watched your relationships fall apart and i was right there with you holding you whale you cried....And stuffed your face with ice cream." she said to her. "And you where there for me when i was hospitalized....Same with Devon....And well i want you to know that." she said as she smiled.

Ivy huffs. “That’s the thing. I want to be mad at him, but... but I can’t. I think, after all these years, some part of me still wants him. The other part, the logical part, keeps reminding me that I’d be throwing away four years of independence, and all that I’ve learned about myself, the world, gone just to go back to him. I think he thinks I hate him, but I don't. I can’t. The day he gave me my memories back, I heard his voice in my head and, I just yearned to see this faceless owner of the voice, to kiss him and hold him and love him, without even considering what was in his heart. Arty, to go back to him is to say I haven’t changed, that nothing happened, that it can just be the way it was. It doesn’t work like that, I Don’t work like that. And I can’t hurt him with that reality. Not now.”
