@World Traveler Two problems with your post.

1) Mana doesn't attend school

2) There has been no murder room. It's the main problem of the case.

Apologies I will remove Mana (Got confused over the age and thought she was in the classroom group)

That was me referencing the last time someone was murdered by the blood eye terrorist not the current murder spree that has been happening by the The Death Husband. Edited to make more clear apologies got lost in my own thought with that one.

I wouldn't put it past the media to ambush teenagers with pictures of their dead parents and friends in order to get a statement for the 6oclock news, sad yet true

Nothing, I repeat, NOTHING should surprise you when it comes to tabloid journalism.

@Jangel13

Not true! Remember that is tabloid journalism infecting one outlet which was never alive or had a soul to begin with really. Basically it was the Fox news of Britain (Owned by the same guy)

The Spotlight team in Boston proves real honorable journalism is alive and well and a true savior of the public!

Fair point, guess every country has at least one of those guys. People without heart and wanting a scoop and throwing away human decency to get it.

As for Boston I'll take your word for it. I never really had much interest in bed to begin with aside from the weather. If it's game news we were talking about I would be a lot more vocal on the subject

HIGHLY RECOMMEND the movie Spotlight. Not only did it win best picture in 2015 it does an amazing job of really showcasing what investigative journalism is. This is the story that basically blew open the sexual misconduct of the catholic church and had a ripple effect to the point where it has led to widespread international accountability to other orders doing the same thing.

In this day and age it is really hard to see sometimes, but journalism is truly the strongest and final protection of democracy.

Interesting I will definitely take a look at it. Honestly I've been having a bit of a movie watching mood so I will definitely take a look at it. If you got other movies that I should watch I'm all ears.

As for that second part it's hard to tell on that I'll agree it's even harder to see that journalism is a godsend rather then a detriment.

Good to know, right now I'm looking for crime dramas or thrillers. Something to stimulate my imagination for all of your mysteries.... Though I'm a big fan of mafia movies too lol

When it comes to Crime Drama, two I'd recommend are Death in Paradise and Murdoch Mysteries.

Casino is a great mob movie based on a real guy who at one point was the toast of the town (That town being Vegas!)

Heat is widely consider one of the all time great cops and robbers movie with it based on the cat and mouse game of Chicago police officer Chuck Adamson hunting down a criminal named McCauley.

The French Connection is one of my favorite movies of all time. Based on a real story (All the great ones are!)

For what you are looking for and for possible ideas I would highly recommend Nightcrawler.

To wash this heavy film list down with some light comedy I would circle back to The Nice Guys.

There are other obvious ones like The Godfather, The Departed, and many many more!

I went way too Mafia with this list. For Murder Mysteries there is a fun rule of thumb. You always find out who did it... by the end of the hour. Basically it means tv shows do the murder mystery better than most movies do. Clue, Murder on the Orient Express (70's version) and Knives Out (The recent ray of sunshine of what is an otherwise bleak list).

I would also like to recommend Death in Paradise! It fits the perfect cut on the classic Who Done It mold and with the different lead detectives you get basically all the classic personality and solve types you see in other shows. Murder She Wrote is also a true gold standard and can be a lot of fun if you recall or enjoy seeing random actors from the late 80's and 90's

@Jangel13 Really? Well. If we're already at a 'last chance' then I'll have to drop it here. You meant for this to go a lot faster than I thought it would, and I'm too busy to post every other days.

Sorry. Good continuity.
