Welcome to the world of Crystallis!
A fantasy adventure where you can play any number of characters from:- Oracle: one of the chosen who awaken in this world with a destiny to save it.
- Person of the Realm: one of the people who live in this world and desire to save it along with the Oracles.
- Evil Lieutenant: One of Draygon's evil lieutenants who desire chaos, destruction, and suffering. Their job is to stop the Oracles from succeeding.
- Incredible Beasts: The world is filled with incredible beasts of your own creation, choose your beast and aid either the Oracles or the Lieutenants, save the world or destroy the world, the choice is yours.
- Whatever your imagination can create, I'm willing to work with you to create something or someone whom you desire to be.
The world of Crystallis is fluid, powers and abilities can vary greatly, this RP is open to imaginative play.
However, there are some rules.
- I play Draygon, the BBEG, and I play Wizards who are spread throughout the world. I also play the challenges and monsters who exist to help you grow. Lastly I play Asra, an enigmatic entity that can communicate with the Oracles and help guide them on their quest.
- There are magical swords of elemental capability. The Oracles are made to wield the swords and they are found at specific villages throughout the world. If you don't like the sword you have you can trade it with another player or find another sword.
- All lieutenants will have a weakness against the swords, some more than others. If a lieutenant finds one of the swords then they can use it, the Oracles are not protected against the power of the swords.
- Creative characters and abilities are welcome, however they have to be approved before you can post in IC so that we can prevent any over powered peoples.
Contact me or post in the OOC if you want to play. This RP is meant to be fun and easy, a stress reliever at the end of the day with little rules other than to respect each other and do good work.

The wizards guarding the swords, Draygon, and the weapon system in the floating tower are major plot motivators. The lieutenants are new, based on letting people play the villain if they like. There will be more than 4 wizards and swords, and a bigger world to play in.
I'm also taking notes from this game: Ultima: Quest of the Avatar From which I plan on pulling the character classes for the people of the world that you guys can play, however I'm sorry to say that I haven't gotten that part up yet. Expect to see a list in the character section soon.

Mostly because a) I don't live in America, so a Discord live RP would be pointless for me, and b) I can at least understand the general setting. And looking forwards to the classes, though I'll have to check if I have time.

This is a casual thread so we don't need a huge amount of depth It just consistency and reliability.

Sword descriptions with accessories are posted, character sheet requests are up. The character sheet is as simple as a picture and a description of how you'd like to play your character. For Persons of the World you can formulate a complete history and fully realized character.
Once a few persons have committed their interest and manifested a character I will post a kicker IC post which will encapsulate the moment when the Oracles awaken and set the villains to play.

Personality:
Sarah is a warm, compassionate soul, always worried about other peoples' welfare and willing to go to any length to protect them. Despite her lack of social experience with the world, she can tell when people are being hurt or abused, and will try and ease their suffering any way she can.
Due to mostly being a blank state, the world around her entices her curiosity, and she will try to learn as much about it as possible. She will try and know more any new sensations or experiences she might encounter, giving her the feeling of a wide-eyed newborn child eagerly gawping at the beautiful world around them.
Her lack of experience with the world means she's also very naïve and clueless about current events or about certain social cues or behaviors that more worldly people would pick up easily. She does have a general sense of social decency and behavior, but the nuances or subtler plays are a bit beyond her experience, and a cunning operator can out-think her until she catches on.
However, despite this, one should not push her too far. She is still an Oracle, and programmed with combat skills and powerful abilities, and can end up fighting back rather tenaciously when she or those she cares about are threatened.

She has always loved computers, robotics and technology in general, and is very skilled when it comes to working with it. Naturally, she is very distressed by the current, primitive, state of the world. She is very much a fish out of temporal water, and this has a major impact on how she views the world and interacts with its inhabitants.
History:
The brilliant daughter of two equally brilliant scientists, Stephanie’s genius was recognized at an early age, and by the time she turned fifteen, she already had her first doctorate. She routinely assisted her renowned parents with their work, and was well on her way to becoming one of the world’s brightest minds. Unfortunately, that world would soon come to a cataclysmic end… As the world of science and progress crumbled around her, Stephanie’s parents hastily worked to ensure her survival. She was given a series of highly experimental genetic enhancements, coupled with an equally experimental cybernetic nanotech control system, and placed in a cryonic stasis chamber. Since their facility was located deep underground, and hardened against even the strongest forms of attack, her parents hoped that she would be safe until the world was once again hospitable to human life. Promising Steph that they would join her in stasis shortly, her parents sealed her chamber and hoped for the best.
Abilities:
Enhanced Physical Attributes- Besides her genius-level intellect, Steph has received extensive genetic enhancement, making her stronger, faster, and more resilient than a normal human. Her senses are also much more acute.
Nanite Swarm- In addition, she has access to a small swarm of nanites, which she can control with the use of a cybernetic implant. These nanomachines are limited to performing minor to moderate healing on herself or others (only one person at a time), as well as providing information and manipulating anything made of metal (although in the future, they may be able to expand their capabilities further). The inhabitants of this backwards time will probably consider this to be magic.

His face is almost piscine, like some primordial beast from the depths, but the rest of him is evocative of the tales of dragons. He is 65' from tip of the tail to his muzzle, is about 9' at the shoulder, and has a wingspan of 63'. His weight is unknown, but estimated to be 10 tonnes.

- Hand to Hand Combat: Even in human form, he is a dangerous and accomplished adversary, not needing to switch to his more powerful form to dispatch most of his foolish opponents. He is equally skilled in barehanded combat and swordsmanship, and is incredibly strong and tough for a human. Approach with caution at all times.
- Assassin's skills: Sometimes you need to kill a foe before he even realizes you're there. Jabberwocky is surprisingly light on his feet, and can use his dagger to silence foes in the shadows.
- Healing: While the art of healing is not as gratifying as the ability to crush your foes and drink in their laments, Jabberwocky nonetheless has learned some respect for it. After all, one might need to patch oneself up after a nasty fight with a surprisingly tenacious enemy.
- Phasing: Jabberwocky can use his magic to phase through walls, allowing him to infiltrate fortresses and sanctums with impunity, and making him even more dangerous as an assassin. However, there are limits to this ability, as he cannot simply phase through a mountain or go deep underground lest he get trapped and suffocate.
- Transformation: As with all of Draygon's Lieutenants, he can transform into his Beast Form, becoming an even more formidable foe.
Beast Form:
- Flight: Those wings of his aren't for show. They allow him to fly great distances and with considerable speed.
- Immense Strength: While he is very strong in human form, he is nothing short of monstrously strong in dragon form, capable of grabbing and tossing tossing humans with minimal effort, as though they were toys.
- Razor-sharp claws and teeth: With razor-sharp teeth and claws, Jabberwocky can rend and tear humans to shreds, and can even create great gashes in stone and rock.

Sarah is a slender girl with bright green eyes and soft, shoulder-length pink hair and pale, almost alabaster skin. She stand at about 5'4" (162.6 cm) and weighs 100 lbs (45.3 kg). She has a curious glint in her eyes, and tends to see everything as though for the first time.

Sarah is a warm, compassionate soul, always worried about other peoples' welfare and willing to go to any length to protect them. Despite her lack of social experience with the world, she can tell when people are being hurt or abused, and will try and ease their suffering any way she can.
Due to mostly being a blank state, the world around her entices her curiosity, and she will try to learn as much about it as possible. She will try and know more any new sensations or experiences she might encounter, giving her the feeling of a wide-eyed newborn child eagerly gawping at the beautiful world around them.
Her lack of experience with the world means she's also very naïve and clueless about current events or about certain social cues or behaviors that more worldly people would pick up easily. She does have a general sense of social decency and behavior, but the nuances or subtler plays are a bit beyond her experience, and a cunning operator can out-think her until she catches on.

- Enhanced physical attributes: As an Oracle and genetically engineered being, Sarah possesses a certain amount of enhanced strength, increased agility, and improved durability and stamina, as well as a small measure of enhanced senses. However, the emphasis are on stamina and agility, making her a poor choice for a heavy fighter.
- Healing: Aside from no small skill at normal healing, she possesses the ability to heal injuries and wounds almost instantly. Currently, she's still learning how to use this power, so she can heal mild injuries and cuts.
- Protective 'magic': Sarah can use her 'magic' to protect her allies by casting a small, protective halo to absorb some of the damage that hits them.

She has always loved computers, robotics and technology in general, and is very skilled when it comes to working with it. Naturally, she is very distressed by the current, primitive, state of the world. She is very much a fish out of temporal water, and this has a major impact on how she views the world and interacts with its inhabitants.

She routinely assisted her renowned parents with their work, and was well on her way to becoming one of the world’s brightest minds. Unfortunately, that world would soon come to a cataclysmic end… As the world of science and progress crumbled around her, Stephanie’s parents hastily worked to ensure her survival. She was given a series of highly experimental genetic enhancements, coupled with an equally experimental cybernetic nanotech control system, and placed in a cryonic stasis chamber. Since their facility was located deep underground, and hardened against even the strongest forms of attack, her parents hoped that she would be safe until the world was once again hospitable to human life. Promising Steph that they would join her in stasis shortly, her parents sealed her chamber and hoped for the best.

Nanite Swarm- In addition, she has access to a small swarm of nanites, which she can control with the use of a cybernetic implant. These nanomachines are limited to performing minor to moderate healing on herself or others (only one person at a time), as well as providing information and manipulating anything made of metal (although in the future, they may be able to expand their capabilities further). The inhabitants of this backwards time will probably consider this to be magic.

There was a rather large supply of advanced weapons and survival equipment at the complex in which Steph’s cryo chamber is located, but the state of them after the indeterminately long amount of time she has been asleep is anyone’s guess…

While at the start, she might look down on the People of the Realm, she doen't do this out of hatred, but out of a mixture of pity and dissapointment. She hates the fact that the world is so primitive, and wants to do her part to restore at least some of the technology of her original time. Despite this unintentional air of suprioirity, Steph is still a kind person at heart, and one who is always willing to help others.
