The moment John sighed and pulled her to sit down, she suddenly realised that her jokey comment may not be that far from the truth after all. She didn't like where it could be going as everyone seemed to remain very straight and serious faced. She listened to John talk, looking him in the eyes the whole time, confusion and concern in her eyes right up until he dropped the bombshell at the end of his information. She went wide eyed, stunned into silence for what felt like an eternity but was actually only a few seconds. She looked up at Chas who simply nodded to let her know that what John was saying, was indeed true.

Looking back at John, her mouth moved as she tried to find the words to speak, but it felt like no words could be found for a moment, "w-what?" she asked, looking down at the note in her hand and read it, trying to let the wording sink in until she looked back at John. "I..." she stammered still trying to find words and suddenly Trish's questions in the kitchen was making sense to why she would ask such a thing. "w-we get a kid?" she was asking more to try and compute everything for herself.

Josh felt bad for needing to speak up but he knew he had to, "that's not all... Serena has more news" he said, even though the bombshell of two of their group getting a child was a surprise to him also as he and Serena weren't in the room when John and Chas discovered this news.

John nodded and said “yes…I wasn’t sure how to even sat it but…she’s strong like you from what the boys said…”

Serena moved a little and said “Guys, I got some kind of warning just now…he threat after John is still coming. And we can’t let him get killed or…well, he said the world would be wrapped in flame…” she looked at Kay and said “I won’t let that happen Kay….

Kay was struggling to process that she at some point in her life ends up having a kid with John. Someone she hasn't long known and be bonded to. It was a lot to process and she wasn't sure if she ever would fully process it, even when that day would eventually come for them both. The idea that they have a girl who was as John stated, strong like her was even more of a mind blowing moment.

She then looked at Josh and Serena when they said there was more news to come and when Serena said what it was, Kay found herself having to sit down on the couch, putting a hand on her head in disbelief. She looked at Serena once more when the words 'the world wrapped din flame' came up. Could she really be capable of turning on the world like that over one man? Then she thought 'well what has the world ever given me other than a shit life?'.

"so this...this mysterious male voice was telling you or hunting to you...then if this danger to John wins out, I what...? Become this big bad villain that practically destroys the world?" she spoke, finding the whole thing utterly insane.

Serena shook her head and said “the voice sounded worried…more as a warning then a threat. I think I know the voice but I can’t place it…” John looked at her and said “Kay it’s going to be alright. Because we know now and we can keep it from happening”

Kay sighed, not sure if it being a warning rather a threat was any better. Yet when John said what he did, she tried so hard not to absolutely lose her cool. "are you serious right now? We're being saved by our future daughter, now this group is getting warnings that you're possibly gonna die and I'm gonna become the very thing that the demons and Hell want... How is ANY of that going to be okay?" she said to him, starting her sentence works duo but calm, but she got more and more worked up and angry as she spoke.

"I'm sorry but I've lost enough thanks to this bloody world and now I could be possibly losing the ONE person that although came crashing into my life unexpectedly, I've discovered I actually love could die, and through that I'm gonna turn into Hell's bitch without their help!" she shook as she ranted, not even able to watch her language with Trish around. It was far too much information to digest in one go, so she did what she knew to do...she walked away from everyone into a hallway, slid to the floor and burst into angry tears.

Josh watched absolutely stunned at Kay's outburst, but he could understand why she would have reacted the way she did. To him it was justified, even if it was utterly terrifying to see.

John tried to get up but cursed and held his wound. Serena jumped up and said “Chas keep him from getting up. I’ll check on her” she got up and went into the hall. She sat by Kay and put her arm around her.

“Kay…it’s going to be alright. Trust me when I say I would give my life to protect you and John…and us getting warnings means this isn’t meant to happen. Something must be messing with our timeline…so fate wants us to fix it. So we will fix it. We will keep you both safe. Don’t worry…I’d like to see anyone get by all of us. Or get to John…”

Chas nodded and made John remain seated. "I know you wanna go after her mate but just give her a moment and let Serena go after her for you. It's a lot for Kay to take in, she hasn't been in this world knowingly for long remember. She'll come round when she's ready" he told him, hoping his words would be of some help.

Kay had put her head into her hands and flinched lightly when she suddenly felt Serena come beside her and put her arm round her. "I know you would but you shouldn't have to. I don't want to become a living weapon either by Hell's forcing or my own grief. "I can't lose him Serena, I... I just can't. I didn't want to fall in love... I always said to myself it was for children... But he means so much to me and its happened so quickly. All this news, finding out in the future we get a kid, and a kid that feels its urgent to flipping time travel to save him?! I would never want that for a kid". She sobbed.

John cursed softly as he held his chest. “Tell me that was the right way to do this…did I just totally screw that up?” He was breathing hard, his damaged lung already taXed now stressed out making his breathing sharp.

Serena sighed and said “I know but…kinda in a strange way it’s really sweet. It shows you guys are going to be great parents if your daughter loves you so much that she was willing to go back in time to save you both?”
She was trying to put a good spin on things to help Kay calm down.

"you didn't screw anything up John, there was no other real way of saying what you did. She'll come round and no doubt be apologetic for ranting at you. I'm sure she didn't mean it or intended it to sound like she was taking it out on you" he said, feeling bad for his mate. He hadn't seen him like this in a very long time over someone, which told him just how much John really did care about Kay. "just try and relax mate, you're gonna do your lung in otherwise" he then added.

Kay appreciated the good spin Serena was trying to put on it but she was just in too much of her overwhelmed state to truly be able to let Serena know. She let head droop to her knees as she pulled her legs into her chest and hugged her legs. "I'm bring such a selfish bitch over this but I need time... I can't compute any of this right now." she said to Serena, unable to look at her friend. Every part of her core just wanted to run away again, but she knew she couldn't do that, not now.

John grunted in pain and said “I don’t want to lose her Chas…I can’t lose her…not like this…” he stumbled and fell to his knees, breathing hard as he tried to get a grip.

Serena nodded and said “you have time Kay…I just don’t want you to lose your cool and spiral is all…” they heard the thud and she glanced back. “That’s odd…”

Chas went to reply to him, to reassure him that he wasn't going to lose Kay but he insisted on getting up which just made him fall to his knees. He rushed to John's side and helped him up, keep g a hold on him. "John what are you trying to do? You're not mesnt to be getting up ya stubborn git" he told him.

"I won't... I just--" Kay began to reply when they heard the thud from the living room area which completely distracted her from her sentence. "go, it's probably John not doing as he's told or something" she told Serena, "I'll be fine... I just need some time to myself, so please don't let him try and find me" she requested. She hated saying those last few words but she really did just need to digest the information alone so she wouldn't get up and run off. If anything, she would want to seek knowledge and comfort from Fee, than anyone physical.

Serena got up and said “go to the den. It’s quiet and out of the way so you can get some real peace. I’ll handle John…” she went back into the room to see John leaning on Chas. “John relax. Kay isn’t running away or leaving you. She just needs a little time so don’t bug her”

John looked at Serena and finally nodded weakly. “Alright alright…”

At the suggestion, Kay nodded and stood up heading to exactly where Serena suggested, opening the door and walking inside closing the door behind her. Closing the door behind them all almost felt therapeutic as she exhaled a deep breath and walked to the centre of the room, sitting on the floor cross legged and closed her eyes, focusing on herself and not the information she had to try and accept.

Chas made John sit back down on the couch yet again and sighed. "told you she wouldn't leave you. It'll take a lot more I reckon to actually make her run and leave you" he told his mate. To him, Kay seemed the type to walk away, calm down and then possibly come back to John, despite the fact she ran from her sister all that time ago and took her two years before going back to her, albeit briefly. "if you know where she went, keep it to yourself for his sake." Chas suggested to Serena. He didn't want John agreeing to leave Kay alone for a short while, then going after her if she didn't show her face after a set amount of time.

Serena nodded as John said “I won’t go after her..,as long as I know she’s safe that’s all that matters…” Serena folded her arms and said “so, what do we do now? Wait for the next move or go face it head on?”

Chas shrugged at Serena's question, not fully knowing what as the heat course of action to take. "I'm not entirely sure but is it going to face whatever this is head on when we don't know all the information such a good idea? I mean, John can't really move right now until he's properly healed up" he replied, giving his own counter and opinion. "but we can't all stay cooped up in here either or we'll get cabin fever. But we all know going in with only vague information isn't going make us win this one." he added as he thought out loud.

"is there any kind of spell or action you can do Serena to track who sent the warning? Or where it came from?" Josh asked, trying to be of some kind of help in the situation.

Kay let the environment of the magical room just calm her as much as possible. She remained silent for a good few minutes before she decided to tap into her soul and discuss everything through with Fee. "Fee I need your help... Is what they're saying truly possible?" she asked. "it's entirely possible, but I cannot say I'm very adversed in the whole topics of time travel." Fee replied as they spoke in Kay's mind. On the outside to anyone else, it would merely look like Kay was just meditating silently, but inside her head it looked like two brings talking with each other.

"it's not just that Fee.. Is it really possible I'll go that evil if something happens to John?" "if you do not find full control when your negative emotions take hold then yes. A fire that's not just myself burns deep within you Kay. Phoenixes are known for having their emotional state take control over them. You wouldn't be the first to turn dark if it happened, but others didn't have a group like you do."

Serena frowned and thought for a moment. “I think I might be able too…but I don’t think I should do it here. Josh can come with me while I find a lay line to channel thru. This way John and Kay get some peace as well…”

Chas listened to her idea and nodded, "this place is near a ley line, to the west about five minute walk away" he explained, gesturing for her to follow him to where the maps were and when she was by him he showed her where he meant. "If anything happens you let us know straight away okay?" he told her, not wanting anything to happen to Serena or Josh either, but knew he would have to stay back with Kay and John and Trish.

"I'm terrified Fee...I may have a group of friends properly for the first ever time but I'm known to run off when things get too tough. What if I can't stop myself from going dark as you put it? What if I completely let John and the others down?" she asked Fee, "Kay Hale, you listen to me. It's your need for those people that will keep you in this place. You would feel tremendous guilt if you left John high and dry. Now go back to the main world and go apologise to John. He's shocked from the news of gaining a child as well" Fee told her back like a scolding mother. "i'm not ready to yet...but I will" Kay replied.

Serena looked over the maps then nodded. She looked at Josh and smiled. “Want to go on a magic date?” Trish giggled a little and said “it’s only a date if he he holds your hand.”

John was sitting on the couch, his hands shaking as he was fighting to get control again. He muttered “I’m not worth to be the father of child…especially Kay’s perfect daughter…”

As Serena smiled at him, Josh smiled at her back, he went to reply to her when Trish said what she did making him playfully glare at her and ruffle her hair. "ya cheeky little squirt!" he teased, before looking at Serena again, "but to answer your question, yeah lets go" he told her.

Chas walked back to John as he then heard what he muttered. "John listen to me, you are worthy of being a father. You thinking otherwise is down to your own father's behaviour toward you and A-well, other things. But you've proved you're worthy of it by being a great godfather to Geraldine and stuff. Not to mention, Kay is probably thinking the exact same thing about herself. The way she reacted? That's not of someone who thinks they're worthy of being a mother. That's someone absolutely shit scared of being a parent" he told him.

Kay opened her eyes when she finished her conversation with Fee and sighed, running both hands through her hair. "Fuck..." she cursed to herself, before getting up off the floor and sighing. She had to go see John and talk calmly with him.

Serena smiled and headed for the door, patted Trish’s head they walked out the door. She looked around and said “Chas said it’s this way. Luckily I’ll be able to feel it as soon as we are standing over it”

John closed his eyes and said “or she’s scared of having a kid with me…I mean. Look at me. I don’t look like a role model…” he rubbed his face, his hands shaking as his chest was killing with the pain of the wounds healing.
