Nickname (which only your closest friends call you, and you maybe hate it): Swamp Water (first day at camp, he mixed Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Orange Juice and 'Mung' -- the Temu version of Tang-like juice that the camp serves, and threw up shortly afterward. It's the sort of thing that sticks.)
Age (down to the month -- seniority matters here): Ten (I'll be eleven in September!) One of the youngest campers, and knows it.
Siblings? Older sister, also a camper -- and this year, a junior counsellor, Margaret. (Megs. aka the antichrist.)

What does your character 'bring to the table?' Being the youngest, and likely in the running for the smallest, JJ feels he has to make up for it, and he does by being the first to volunteer for any mission, no matter how gross (see 'Swamp Water.') He is also everyone's best cheerleader, and next-to-impossible to bring down. He remains a force of positivity even in the most desperate of times. Secretly though -- he questions himself ALL the time, even if he won't let anyone else see it.

Family Life? Farm boy. Raised on a small, hobbyist farm. As far a business went, the most they did was offer horse riding lessons to the locals. Remy ended up getting along with animals more than people, so now he's at camp to force him to have a social life.

What does your character 'bring to the table?' Big and strong, for his age, and with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of animals. Not terrible with plants either, but they aren't as cuddly. His specialty, though, is of course horses should that ever come up. Regardless, working on a farm builds strength and endurance and his parents never let him skip a day.

Dexter’s parents love him very much. Sometimes a little too much.

His mother is a pediatrician, his father teaches physics at the local university, and both of them fully expect Dexter to become someone important someday. Good grades are expected. Reading is encouraged. Summer vacation still somehow involves studying.

Camp is one of the only places where nobody asks him about test scores or future plans. Nobody cares if he skipped piano practice or forgot to read ahead in science class. For a few weeks every year, Dexter gets to just be a kid.
