Long and big posts just take a while to chew through witha a TTS. Which is why I also try to trim my own posts and not make them overyl long. Because editing really long posts when I have to re-read them with the TTS is sloooooooooooow. x_x

Hope this doesn't come off as rude or insensitive, but you've got me curious about your eyesight and if certain ways of formatting posts would make some things easier or harder for you. Do you tend to follow along with TTS or just leave it running while multitasking? I've developed a habit of using TTS to read all day nonstop while doing other things and I usually do the latter, but I imagine doing so would be more annoying if you have any difficulty going back over any parts that sound odd and visually confirming if the oddity was a typo or whatever. There's a fair bit of formatting I've noticed TTS tends to struggle with. (Or, at least, the browser extension I use struggles with) It ignores the contents of unopened hiders of course, though that hasn't seemed to cause you any issues. Any time a sentence uses a dash - usually the kind used in place of a comma or semicolon, TTS will barrel on like there's nothing there, leading to it being read as a run-on sentence. Images, of course, don't work, so the little symbol I use for pokemon currency () gets ignored, as do possessive apostrophes where the following S is omitted. (e.g. the possessive form of a name that ends in an S) How is one to know the difference between a serious dog and Sirius' dog? The TTS also doesn't distinguish between regular text, text in parentheses, and text in quotation marks, which sometimes makes it hard for me to tell from audio alone who is speaking or if text is just meant to represent a character's thoughts.

I must say though, its inability to properly pronounce certain names (Rye-uichi, My-haru) has always been entertaining to me. If I'm reading 100 chapters of a webnovel via TTS and a major character has a name TTS can't pronounce properly, that's just their new name in my head.

I follow along when the TTS is reading, becaue as you say, soemtimes it pronounces things weird, skips/omits reading some things due to formatting, or does other silly things - and I have to go back and either read that bit manually, or re-mark and have it read seperately.

As for formatting posts to make it easier for me. Don't worry about. If people want to make their posts look a certain way for aesthetic or artistic purposes, they shouldn't have to forego that just to make things more convenient to me. I've managed thus far with everyones different way of writing/shaping their posts, so don't feel like there's any obligation to cahnge your ways just for my sake.

Obviously though, if you put somehting in [abbr], O'm going to miss that, because the TTS can't read the pop-up coding. And the text is waaaaaaaaaay too small for me to read manually even if I mouse over it.

The only time I don't follow along as it reads is when I'm doing edits to my own posts, since I already knew what I wrote and where. And am just using the TTS to find grammar/spelling errors for the most part. Even if I don't always catch all of them. ;v

I've been reminded by Skink that there's one other important piece of information from the discord: Rune/Savo confirmed that you do get paid for scanning other starters. Scan rewards are the same as catching rewards, (scanning rewards being half of scanning+catching rewards) so people who start with a 1k starter would have 9.5k after scanning all the other starters, and people who start with a 2k starter such as Tilly would have 10k afterward.

Also with how I think the order of it all went, Ryuuichi could have been the actual last one to return since he took both a lot of time catching and about fifteen minutes to actually come back. So it could work that way.

She is gonna be vastly different from her (soon to be) Trainer in many ways.

And yea, Ryuuichi would know the basics about how to use his cane, but he is also really bad at it thanks to his shut in lifestyle. Aside from the practice he did during his rehabilitation, he never actually went out all that much once he was allowed to go back home. He's only ever really been to his doctor's in the past two years after his physical rehab and during those times his (perhaps somewhat too overprotective) took him there directly.

As such, he tends to just kinda use Tapping alot. He might Sweep every now and again, but he mostly just taps since he is... very paranoid about hitting anybody or anything. Even if using that method given the situation might be the wrong one and might put him in more danger given the lack of appropriate information.

So suddenly I feel validation for my 'Ralts would make a good emotional support Pokemon' personal headcanon after reading all of this. XD

If I find a Ralts IC I am having Lina catch one, but for her I know it isn't a priority catch atm either. My personal favorite mon frfr. Such a good bean. (T_T)
