[OOC] Naruto: The Illusion of Peace

Premise

You're surely familiar with the story of the Sage. The origin of the Tailed Beasts and the Shinobi way. You must be equally aware of the war and conflict that engulfed the land both before and after the formation of the Hidden Villages. This world has experienced Shinobi World War three times to this point, and the third was the bloodiest. Informally known as the War of the Frost, as the primary battleground was the small stretch of land it encompassed, the blood drenched and corpse strewn landscape spoke volumes of the nature of the conflict. The latest mounds of bodies hadn't even been cleared away by the time armies from each major faction in the conflict appeared on the battlefield. There, they were about to fight a battle that would decide the fate of the nations for half a century to come.

Just not the way they had expected.

For three straight days, the fighting escalated on the plains of the Frost Country. It had gotten to the point where the piles of bodies were an obstacle to any advance on the field. On one small patch of land, in between the dead and the ongoing fighters, a group of exhausted Shinobi chanced upon each other. They were a multi-national bunch, of varying ranks, ages, and genders, but the one trait they shared in common was their lack of will to carry on. And so they simply sat down, right there, in the midst of the battle. Gradually, the perplexing sight of people sitting down wantonly on the battleground began to attract attention. Surprisingly no one took advantage of their vulnerability, and instead approached for the sake of simply asking what they were doing. Reactions varied from disbelief, laughter, and pure outrage, but as this went on, more and more people decided to join them, simply sitting there, laying their weapons down. After some time, one voice spoke up from the middle of the ever growing crowd.

"What do you all say we bring an end to this?"

The Shinobi world's leaders would all later receive ultimatums from their armies, demanding an immediate end to hostilities. Once again, their responses vacilitated wildly, but in the end, even the most hardline of leaders capitulated. Given the concentration of forces in the Land of Frost, the fear that they might form a new faction and turn on their masters was definitely on people's minds. But with the declaration of an unconditional white peace, the Shinobi from all over the world returned to their villages without an issue.

But this wasn't the end. Their goal was achieved, but the ninja who gathered together on that day remained in touch. Only a few years after the declaration of peace, a summit was called. Not one of leadership, but of effectively anyone that desired to discuss the solidification of peace. Essentially, it was a meeting of those who had participated in the Frost campaign, but with the addition of a few others. None of the Kage participated, however. When the talks began, they were largely unstructured, and it was rather chaotic, especially due to the number of people there. Eventually, an agreement was reached; the Shinobi gathered there would form the basis for an international organization. One that agreed to assist each other in avoiding war and developing the nations peacefully. They would all return to their villages and continue to act as loyal servants. But they would always remember to act in unison when the threat of war hung over their heads.

This organisation they named "Shinobi International".

At the head of this organisation was a man called Masayuki Taira. He was amongst the first that stopped fighting in the Frost, and he was the one that asked them all to work together to end the war. He represented the group when it encountered the first challenges to it's existence. The fact they had organised themselves into some new group had flared up suspicions that they had designs on power for themselves yet again, but Masayuki Taira hadn't brought peace to the nations just to end up fighting anyone now. After a long period of negotiation, the leaders of the villages agreed to allow this new organisation to exist unhindered under the promise of every member of the group working to develop all the villages equally. With that out of the way, the International got to work.

It has been 50 years since the founding of the International. Their existence has become an accepted fact in the nations. They alone are trusted to travel between countries so as to offer mutual aid to all. Under their supervision, the notion of war has become a tall tale that old men tell their grandchildren to scare them straight. And the man credited with this period of peace, Masayuki Taira, is dead. He passed away in his sleep not long ago, and his funeral is to be held soon. Though this means the end of an era, most are not truly concerned; the International is still strong, and the system they put in place will continue regardless of the loss of their leader. It seems likely that the peace will continue for years yet to come.

Shinobi International

The organisation as founded by Masyuki Taira roughly 50 years ago. In a nutshell, it's a neutral organisation of Shinobi from all walks of life that have agreed to strive towards a peaceful world and the mutual development of the nations. Members of this organisation are expected to offer their services to any and all that require them, but they are forbidden from engaging in nation specific tasks, especially ones of an aggressive nature, like espionage and sabotage. Their aim is to remain mostly detached from village politics, and also to lobby against warfare and aggression in all forms.

Members of Shinobi International can come from just about any place in society. Even Genin can join, though their services as teachers are not usually requested. Often, Shinobi International requests for volunteers for the Transitory Shinobi Unit, or TSU as it's often called. Members of this unit travel between the nations in order to patrol the land and also build a rapport between villages by offering their teaching services to multiple villages rather than just the one. Though they only stay in any one place for a short period of time, it is the hope of Shinobi International that these activities will foster a bond between the various nations and one day eliminate the distinctions between them.

Other members of Shinobi International are permitted to remain in their home villages or any other village they choose to reside in. They are entitled to act more or less like a typical member of their chosen village, but as members of Shinobi International, they are of course forbidden from getting involved in village politics. Though it is not a duty that Shinobi International likes to speak of openly, they are also expected to keep watch on activities within the village and report on the posibility of aggressive action on part of the village's leadership. They are also encouraged to speak out if the leadership decides to take up policies that do not reflect those desired by the International.

There isn't a great deal of heirarchy amongst the lay membership of Shinobi International. Often one's village rank determines their suitability for assignments, but else they don't follow a strict chain of command. The only true leadership is that of the regional directors. Each village has a local head of Shinobi International operations. They are responsible for managing local members of the International and assigning duties to them as they see fit. They also act as the liason between the Shinobi International overall leadership and local village leaders.

At the head of Shinobi International is naturally it's Chief Director. This was originally Masayuki Taira, before he passed away. The Chief Director governs from the Shinobi International HQ in the land of Frost. They give orders to the regional directors and decide the overall policy of the International. In the event of a crisis, they are likely to get involved directly in order to resolve it in favor of the International's ideals. It's not uncommon for the Director to travel out from the HQ in order to inspect the situation in any given village, or to investigate potential problems wherever they may pop up.

Welcome to Naruto: The Illusion of Peace. If you didn't already notice it up the top, WE'RE ALWAYS OPEN. In a nutshell, this is an AU Naruto RP that only relates to the show in name, universe and mechanics. You'll find no canon characters here for sure. You can also only join the villages that you can see on the roster for now. More might be considered in future. Also, you're all free to join the Shinobi International, but I am going to put limits on the number of those that aren't attached to villages permanently.

Rules

1. Respect the rules of the Guild at all times.
2. Standard policies against godmoding, powerplaying and other typical roleplaying problems.
3. Your first character is a Genin. That's non negotiable.
4. If you didn't read the OP, everyone is entitled to point at you and laugh.
5. We have a great many issues with a great many canon things. I'm not sure I could list them all, but a few are as follows; Body Flicker, Eternal/Mangekyo Sharingan, Shikotsumyaku, Steel Release, Dark Release, Swift Release, Dust Release, and of course, the Rinnegan. These will either be heavily nerfed or completely out of the question. If you really must ask for them, do at least consider how to nerf them yourselves. Else, I strongly recommend you don't even try.
6. If you desire to leave the RP, I will make allowances for you to handle your own character's death/sidelining yourself, within reason. You have to clear this with me first, naturally. However, if you disappear without a trace, I will not hesitate to clean up the mess on my own.
7. Due to the volatile nature of plots and the like in any RP, let alone Naruto RPs, I do reserve the right to make universal decisions on anything pertaining to the progression of this RP. I prefer to leave people to their personal plots, but anything that could potentially impact on the entire game has to be cleared by me or else it will not be.
8. I do not mind if you voice your opinion. But at the end of the day, my decisions will be final.
9. No reserving characters. All important positions, Kage especially, are open and encouraged to be fought over. I will not accept you just because you were first. Nor because you think your sheet is best.
10. Jinchuuriki will not belong to anyone from the start. While I might consider letting a character start as one later on, you may create none at the beginning. And you certainly may not reserve one.
11. Be the bigger person and stop arguing before I have to step in and stop you. I don't care who is right, I don't tolerate confrontations. If I think there's a problem, I will solve it, not you.

Suggestions

(None of these are binding, but I won't take kindly to them being ignored)
-I would rather this RP didn't become Uchiha central. Let's try not to make them dominate the RP, yes?
-Hybrids solely for the purpose of slapping together KG and/or clan traits are frowned upon. If you really must, then at least try to give them a good, inspired reason for being.
-Let's all try to avoid cliches. I don't want to be a douche about it, but everyone being the nicest most Shonen people in the world makes me suffer on the inside.
-Try to be proactive. You can't count on people to chase you around all day long. If you're really struggling, please speak up about it. I will try to help you if I can.
-You don't have to have a Kekkei Genkai. If you really insist on having something like that, why not try making a Hiden?

Personality:

Shisen was once a very social and intelligent child, being observant and bright minded was a blessing for her but that all went away after the death of her parents. Her once full of potential self now turned to a sad and sorrowful child, questioning the fact that maybe she could have been stronger. Unlike the children her age that were playful and happy, she was angry and remorseful. She could only trust Arashi, she could only be friends with her Niken as they suffered the same and would only be able to understand each other more than anyone else. No one else would be able to feel the pain that they did, when someone insulted her she would only stare at them as if they said nothing at all, some even called emotionless but that was far from the case, she felt every emotion more deeply than anyone could know.

Eventually her observant self slowly resurfaced, making her more tuned to the emotions of others and she easily picked up on small things, noticing the details that many over looked. At home she would cry and sob over the fact that she felt so alone, so utterly alone. Although she never exhibited such emotion in public, always in her home and away from the prying eyes of those who said they wanted to help.

History:

Shisen was born into the Inuzuka clan, her clan was not particularly well known nor was it revered but it was there. The Inuzuka were not particularly skilled in Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but in Taijutsu they were exceptionally skilled at. Also known for their incredible foot speed and brute strength as well as their ability to sense their opponent through smell. Along side their Niken companions, the Inuzuka were a force to be reckoned with and not many dared to test their limits.

Two of the most known Inuzuka clan members were, Kenshi and Tēru Inuzuka, even in other clans, they were well known. Kenshi was a strategist known for his well executed plans in the field and Tēru was known for her compassion as well as her stealth in battle. Out of battle, the two were kind and had a love for all things beautiful and respected those with considerable more power than they had. Although the two were kind and polite, they preferred the silence of the outdoors than the busy life of living in the Inuzuka estate. They built a small cottage on the edge of the clans land and lived there peacefully until the first Shinobi war.

Joining with their clan in the fight, the two were able to successfully thwart several plans of their opposers and complete even more missions to help Konoha in the war. It was only three years later towards the nearing end that they stopped fighting in the war, on a fateful night on their way to a mission. Caught up in the merriment of a night before a mission, the two consumed too much Sake and ended up being consumed by their passion for each other. Thus resulting in Tēru's pregnancy, it was found out three months later and an agreement was reached that they no longer wanted to par take in the war. So they moved back to their small cottage to carry Tēru's pregnancy to full term.

Seven months later, Shisen was born and the couple couldn't gave been more pleased with her. The child had her mothers kind blue eyes and her fathers natural untamable hair, they were only concerned with the fact that she was so small at birth. They often worried that she would get sick easily and that they could lose their beloved daughter to illness. That was not the case, Shisen grew to be just as durable and happy as any other child.

For the first two three years of her life, nothing could have been better for the family. Her mother would make nice sandwiches that she would pack for picnics for supper so that they could enjoy their supper while watching the sunset in the evening. As her father would often come home from meetings and walks out in the town to pik her up and swing her around before merrily laughing with her. Both her and mother enjoyed picking the wild flowers behind their home and practiced weaving them in their hair both in braids and while it was untied.

A year later, her father started on taking Shisen on walks with him to see the town as she had not yet been away from home and to his pride, he noticed just how bright his daughter was. She would sometimes ride on his Niken if she got too tired to walk back home and other times, they would race.

However, Shisens life changed for the worse when she was five years old. Her and her mother were picking wild flowers in the woods when a rouge ninja came across them. Her mother had put herself between her daughter and the rouge ninja, when the ninja attacked her mother told her to run and get her father. Shisen ran through the woods as fast as she could and burst through the door screaming that her mama was in trouble. Her father ordered his friend to watch his child while he ran to help her mother. About an hour later both of her parents came back but both were injured as well and said that the rouge ninja had ran off.

The next day, her father decided it was time to let his daughter get her Niken and so he took her to the kennels to choose one that she liked. Pointing out several great possibilities but Shisen only had eyes for the one that caused the most trouble and said "papa, Arashi!" While she pointed to the half wolf half domesticated Niken. The others that had accompanied them to the kennels objected to the girl having the Niken but she would have none of it. Her father even encouraged her to earn Arashi's trust and noted that it would be a wonderful pairing.

Shisen and Arashi spent lots of time together under the watchful eye of the whole clan, being criticized because of her choice. It was only when the rouge ninja came back fully prepared to extract his revenge did Shisen and Arashi really became close to each other. In the middle of the night, the rouge ninja broke into their home and woke them up only to kill her mother in front of both her father and herself. Shisen began screaming and sobbing as she crawled over to her mother who was now gone from her life and her father being unable to do anything as he was tied down. Watched as the ninja grabbed his daughter and tried to kill her, but Arashi had heard the girls screams and because she would not listen to anyone else, she came crashing through a window. Scaring the ninja and was protectively hovering over Shisen but she couldn't do anything to stop the rouge ninja from killing her father.

Arashi had managed to chase off the ninja, doing a considerable amount of damage before returning to Shisen who was sobbing over the loss of her parents. It was three days later when Arashi let anyone near Shisen, her clan was horrified that the girl had to witness such a horrendous event and went into a frenzy of which they had several meetings. A week later, it was decided that because of the emotional trauma that Shisen went through that it was best if she was raised by an outsider and not someone from the clan. Although, they kept a watchful eye on her as she grew older.

They were terribly unhappy with what the loss of her parents did to her potential, as it seemed to make the bright child withdrawn and antisocial. Shisen isolated herself from the other children and refused to interact with them, she barely uttered word to anyone. Her foster family was greatly pleased when she showed even the slightest bit of interest in joining the academy, she began to work with the Head of the Clan to give her an advantage, she excelled in the four legs technique and struggled with using the other Jutsu, but the clan was pleased to see that she was not discouraged.

She graduated the Academy a year later, the top student when it came to foot speed and one of the best in brute force.

Special Traits
The Inuzuka clan tend to have a more feral appearance with red distinguished cheek markings that set them apart. As well as their sharpened senses and their canine companion, they are often very agile and are inseparable once given their Niken. Able to track targets by sending chakra to their nose to heighten their smell even more they are able to detect and monitor their target as well.

"Venerable Golem King"? Excuse me while I call bullshit that a child is both venerable and a King of anything.

I REALLY hate when people give Genin extravagant titles. It's like: "Fantastic. What the hell did you do to EARN such a title? Nothing really? Neat."

Sure, a JOUNIN might have done stuff to earn a title, like a Jounin with the alias of "Ocean-Cutter" might have used a wind-jutsu so potent that it carved a path into the ocean (if only for a few seconds) or something of similar renown. But Genin are not the kind to have titles other than stuff such as "_____, the bratty graduate" or "_____ the shuriken genius" etc. Think when giving your characters titles... for real.

Personality: Kai is a strange kid, many would agree. He is an introvert and as such avoid social interaction as much as possible. He only speaks to people he already know and trust, everyone else is avoided. When he does speak people tend to feel awkward or even outright insulted. The thing is that Kai struggles with understanding basic human emotions and because of it he feels that it is easier to ignore them all. When speaking to Kai you quickly learn that he (unlike everyone else) always says exactly what he means and nothing more.

History:
The Chimotou clan is one of Amegakure’s oldest clans, for as long as the village has existed there has been a Chimotou within it, and for as long as they have existed they have been genjutsu specialists. Each generation teaching their best self-made Jutsu’s to the next so the clan grew stronger with each generation, they were so proud of their skills that they became extremely strict. A member of the Chimotou clan either had to marry another member of the clan, or a non-ninja so as not to dilute the next generations talent.

A few hundred years ago the first member of the clan was born that was physically incapable of performing Ninjutsu, it was also found that he had no chakra nature. At first he was written off as a genetic mistake, but it was soon discovered that he could perform Genjutsu. So skilled in this area was the boy that he performed a B-rank genjutsu flawless at the age of 11. The clan studied the boy intently throughout his life, discovering that instead of the normal chakra his was white and was capable of being shaped only into genjutsu. Naturally the clan was thrilled and married him off to the most talented female genjutsu artist in the clan hoping for his gift to transfer to his children, which it did and from that the clan Kekkei Genkai was born.
Skip forward multiple generations, roughly 150 years before the start of this game. The Chimotou clan wasn’t exactly thriving. In a skirmish with Konoha they had suddenly lost the only two members of the clan who could wield the white chakra, both without heirs. The inbreeding program was kicked into overdrive to conserve the precious bloodline. No longer were the head family (those directly related to the last welders of the white chakra) allowed to marry outside the clan.

Today:
Generations of “bloodline purity” has left a taint on the clan, a process that was started to strengthen the clan actually ended up weakening it. The practise of inbreeding has been made illegal by the clan leader in an effort to stop the decline of its members but it’s still much more likely you’ll be born with no ninja talent at all than with it.
The strict controlling nature of the clan has also driven members away, defection has been increasing over the last few generations and the clan stands at only thirty members, only five are able to manipulate chakra. Kai’s father is the current head of the clan.

The story of Kai has only begun. He was born in the decaying Chimotou clan, and was hailed almost as a messiah when the white chakra was rediscovered. He has been trained well in the art of genjutsu by his clan, but still had to buy his graduation from the ninja academy in Amegakure. The white chakra is impossible to mold into ninjutsu, and so it was impossible for Kai to pass the critical ninjutsu-test that decides who will become a ninja and who will be sent home.

Special Traits
Chakra Genius - Kai is a real genius. Somehow he is innately able to understand chakra on a level that only some jounins have reached previously. He is even able to break down and understand techniques that have only been described to him, or that he has only witnessed once.
Impact on game: I won’t have to hide the fact that I know the world pretty much like the back of my hand.

Ninjutsu Retard - Kai is cursed. While he is a true genius, easily able to understand even the most complicated ninjutsu techniques the world has ever heard of he is utterly incapable of reproducing any of them. Indeed his inaptitude almost meant that he would never become a ninja.
Impact on game: Cannot learn ninjutsu.

Kekkei Genkai:

Name of Kekkei Genkai: White Chakra.
Clan: Chimotou.
Description: An extremely rare bloodline limit, the last wielder of the white chakra was believed to be a myth in the clan.
The wielder’s chakra is white. This white chakra is only capable of being used to create genjutsus, those members of the clan possessing it being physically unable to mold the chakra into ninjutsu. As it is specialised for genjutsu it makes casting them easier than it would be for a normal ninja, the techniques are at the same time stronger and thus harder to detect and escape. It also means they spent less chakra on their genjutsus than a regular ninja. A technique that might drain half a normal ninja’s chakra would cost considerably less white chakra.

Personality: Nazari is very distant from others, she prefers her solitude to the company of crowds. Unlike the members of her clan, she is morbid and blunt while everyone else is more of the optimistic type. Somehow she sees the dark side of every situation, knowing that she could very well end up dead in every situation and her flat personality usually causes those around her to steer clear of her. She has a very strong dislike of liars, those who lie usually end up at the other end of her blade. If one were to ask her opinion on a particular topic, she is likely to be as brutally blunt as she can. Her honesty is seen as down right rude, causing people to see her as a person who only hates others.

She is very much a pessimistic person, she states her opinion on the matter very clearly and doesn't sugar code a single bit of it. Seeing no point in hiding the truth behind pretty words, she has not a care for those who would rather hide behind lies and would easily set them straight. With a sharp tongue, she can put anyone in their place in a matter of minutes.

Her attitude and dark sense of humor has forced to isolate herself from those who cant handle the truth, leaving her with very distant friends and even fewer good friends. Although she comes across as rude snd uncaring, she is very well mannered and cares quite a lot about those who she calls friends. Another trait that most don't see is that she is fiercely loyal to the side she chooses and will give all she has to help. Putting her life on the line and more for those who she is loyal to.

History: Nazari was born into the Sutā clan, her clan was not very wealthy or nor was it very well known, but nonetheless, it was there. Her clan was known for producing advanced Genjutsu ninja, these ninja were agile and swift. Their were techniques strong enough to take down even the strongest opponents with minimum flaws to their fighting style, by using sound as their method of Genjustu release.

The Sutā works similar to the Hyuga clan, in which they are two branches of the clan but not as divided as the Hyuga. The main branch is considered to be the stars of the clan because the ones placed into this branch are considerably more powerful than those of the side branches of the clan of which they were almost ignored. Both of her parents were of the side branches and so it was to be expected that she would be of the same branch as well, her parents were encouraging and bright despite their placement, making her see her potential. Her parents were also unhappy with the branch system of the clan, claiming that it created a divide between the clan.

At the age of 5 Nazari was branch tested, to everyone's shock she was actually incredibly gifted, she was in fact a child prodigy. At the same time, she experienced the unfair treatment to those who were not as gifted as she was and was horrified by it as she watched those after to be unfairly criticized and placed in lower branches. That same night, there was a clan meeting in which they were deciding the fate of the new main branch members and a decision was made that changed her entire life. The clan elders decided that her parents were unfit to raise her, thus they took her from them and she was given to a much more 'suitable' couple.

This was of course when the war started and her clan had the evil idea of weeding out the the weaklings in the lower branches, so they sent the older lesser branch members off to war. Nazari was horrified by this as they kept the main branch members back to train vigorously, putting them various training drills but it was only moderately difficult for her. Being the child prodigy, she did them with ease and was met with praises. This happened for about two years in her life, for those two years nothing stood out to her.

At the age of seven, she was placed into the Academy to be trained even more to become a Genin. Nazari stood out, she excelled at Genjutsu as was expected of her and she excelled in Ninjutsu. With no interest in Taijutsu, she still excelled in it. She graduated the Academy at the age 8 and was one of the Rain Villages top students. By time the war was over and many of the lesser branch members were carelessly slaughtered in the war, she was at the level of Chuunin even as Genin. The elders of course didn't tell her that her parents were in the group that hadn't yet returned home and so she expected them home like all the survivors were, but she found out through another member that they had been killed in the war.

Even Nazari's best friend in her clan was killed in the war, this caused her to go into an immense depression of which she through herself into countless missions hoping that the outcome would result in her death. It didn't, not a single mission came close to killing her and she was always nearly flawless. Allowing her clan to make her into some type of show case before the fights started.

At the age of 12, Nazari witnessed a blood bath like no other and was horrified to find out that it was the main branch facing off against the lower branches. This lasted about one year the Sutā clan slowly killed itself off. She would come to find her home covered and spattered with blood each day, every day was beginning to blend together for her and nothing mattered anymore. That was until she met someone who had been planning on stealing her away from the horrors of her clan, a rouge ninja had walked into her life.

One year from the day her clan killed itself, she came home to find Akaro, a rouge ninja from the Hidden Sound, standing in the ruins of her clan and his exact words were "Child, you are mine now." She didn't know why she didn't kill him or why she simply agreed to it but she did, they built a small home in the Hidden Rain and were for a while nothing was wrong. He would tell her to not fear death, that it was inevitable and it was best to embrace it. Akaro was poetic and yet serious at the same time, in fact he was the one who taught her how to make her pan-flute, he taught her his Ninjutsu and was quite pleased that she easily picked up on it.

About three months later, he had presented her with a brilliantly made panflute that was attached to bronze chain that would keep it around her neck. When she asked why he was giving her a pan-flute,

The day she became a Chuunin, was a bitter sweet day. She had no problem with the Chuunin exams, she flew through it easily with little to no problem. Even in the combat portion of it, those who fell under her song had already lost to her Genjutsu. She came home Chuunin, only to find Akaro dying in his bed. Those who were after him, had found him and he was just barely alive. He told her, in his last breath, "Nazari... I have to embrace death now... But you my dear, my heart... Will live on and go onto greater heights... As the Mistress of the Moon... My Mistress of the Moon..."

And thus, at the age of 14, her life lost its meaning. No matter what she survived, there was nothing that mattered to her anymore or so she thought. As it would seem, fate had more plans for her as a delivery girl came crashing into her one day and which caused Nazari's curiosity to turn towards the girl who she found out was named Kazen.

It was cold, the only sound that she could hear where that of her own footsteps on the water. She was no shinobi, at least, not an official one. She did learn a thing or two from her parents though. Her short white hair flapped behind her as she ran. The sixteen-year-old delivery girl wore a mask in front of her mouth and this transparent goggles to prevent the wind and water form getting into her eyes. The work of a delivery girl was dangerous, especially as a sixteen-year-old girl in amegakure without proper training. Kazen jumped from the water atop a roof and kept running. Her momentum was great. She hopped over a fence and slides under a low pipe. Nothing was able to stop her in her tracks. She did meet a couple of amegakure Genin but hey were not able to keep up with her and the aiming of their kunai and shrunken was way off. The girl jumped up again only to meet eye contact with a chuunin; the girl was not very old, 14 at most. She stood so close to the edge of the roof that Kazen could not dodge her and her momentum prevented her from stopping in time "get out of t-" she crashed into the girl before she even finished her sentence. The two toppled over the ground and ended up a several feet from the edge of the roof. Kazen quickly jumped up and drew Kaze Katana holding it in front of her in a defensive stance. Genin she could outrun and dodge their Kunai but a chuunin was a whole different story. Kazen just wished she could talk her into not killing her.

Nazari was considering what would happen if she were to jump off the roof and land on her back, killing herself. Shaking her head, that was not an option, it was never an option. She heard angry shouts from some new Genin and turned in the direction of them, there was a girl who appeared older than most of them. She only had a split second to react before the girl crashed into her and sent them both to the ground as they grappled for a second. Nazari had to admit that the girl was quick, having her blade already drawn. Nazari was fast too, on her feet in the same second that she had the Katana drawn and the next second, she had the girl by her wrist. "You know... It's polite to apologize to someone after you nearly knock them off a roof..." Nazari said flatly. Her voice was flat and as sharp as a knife, it was laced with venom. In a quick motion, she had knocked the blade out of the girl’s hands and caught her by the wrist, preventing her from going anywhere. "Now apologize..."

Just a second after she had drawn her blade it was no longer in her hands, instead of that the girl she just crashed into held her in an iron grip by her wrist. "You know... It's polite to apologize to someone after you nearly knock them off a roof, now apologize". Kazen was dumbstruck by the words of the chuunin and by her speed and strength as well. Her voice was like poisoned sound. However she was clearly at a disadvantage she was not easily swept off her feet "Why do you care?!" Kazen mocked the girl "you were going to jump anyway! Now if you will excuse me..." she freed her wrist and ducked for the blade, “I need to go somewhere"

"Why do you care?! You were going to jump anyway! Now if will you excuse me, I have to go somewhere" the girl said and then she was no longer held in a nearly impossible grip. Nazari was tired of these games, of the rude behavior and so she simply grabbed her by the upper arms and twisted it behind her back, yes it was painful for the girl but she had the chance to walk out of this unharmed. "I warned you... Now it's too late..." Nazari said and would have broken the girls arm if it weren't the shouts of nearing Genin. The fact that the girl needed to go somewhere and the nearing Genin was brought to the front of her mind, with a sigh, she let go. "It looks like you need an escort..." she stated and stepped back. "Cover your ears... Unless you want to join them..." She added. Putting her flute to her lips, she played the notes her Genjutsu required and did the needed hand signs. "Sutā Style: Midnight Predator!"

Kazen was sure she would be able to outrun the girl but she proved wrong as her freed wrist was caught only a moment after and then twisted behind her back. She clenched her teeth together; she would not show that she hurt her. "I warned you... Now it's too late..." some shouts could be heard by the girl, judging by what they said they were shinobi shit thought Kazen, the Genin I ran into earlier Kazen thought she was done for, the Chunin holding her and the Genin now... then the girl behind sighed and, much to her surprise, let go of her arm "It looks like you need an escort..." Kazen picked up he sword and sheeted it then covered her ears as ordered by the other girl as she put a flute to her lips.

After the girl was done playing, Kazen could see that because she put the flute away, she turned back to her. Kazen uncovered her ears and looked at the genin, they stood completely still with fear in their eyes. "An illusionary technique? Oh, I'm Kazen by the way... let us go!" she turned around and started to run.

"An Illusionary technique? Oh, I'm Kazen by the way.... Let us go!" Kazen said and Nazari simply nodded and ran after her, she had to admit that the girl was exceedingly quick and agile. It was impressive; she was slowly falling more and more behind but managed to maintain a good ten feet behind and keeping her in sight as well. At that time, a Genin who apparently didn't hear the sound of her flute had jumped in front of Kazen. She was perfectly capable of defending herself, so Nazari just hung back in case she ended up being inept with her Katana. Her interest was drawn to the screams and sobs of those unlucky enough to be ensnared her by Genjutsu, those poor Genin would be losing it soon.

Kazen was impressed by the girls’ speed. Although she was not as fast as her she was able to keep up with her pretty well. Kazen though back about those genin and remembered only two standing still as she peeked around the girl with the flute. She wondered where the third went, the answer came sooner then she expected, as he appeared right in front of her. Kazen wasted not a moment, neither wasted her momentum, and when she stood only an inch away from him she jumped upwards, slamming her knee to his chin, knocking him unconscious.

A few moments later they were out of the heat, resting at a hiding spot along the way. The other girl was panting heavily "so, what is your name? And why did you help me?" asked Kazen

Nazari watched as the girl knocked the Genin unconscious and caught the small child before it hit the ground, laying it under a building before catching up to Kazen. The Genin didn't do anything wrong so there was no reason for it get to harmed more than he already was, once they came to stop, Nazari sighed. "So what is your name? And why did you help me?" Kazen asked her.

"My name is Nazari. I'm not helping you... I have every intention of extracting that apology from you one way or another..." Nazari answered, a slight smirk played on her lips. She never forgets those who don't apologize and they usually end up apologizing soon after. Despite the tiring chase of the Genin and the weight of her blade on her back, she was not worn out.

"My name is Nazari... I'm not helping you... I have every intention of extracting that apology from you one way or another..." answered the girl to her question "yeah well, not happening" said Kazen resolute "you should be apologizing to me for me getting late now, however, I DO thank you for dealing with those Genin" Kazen turned around "I really should get going, if I'm late I'm going to get it" a shiver went down her spine, she looked over her shoulder back to Nazari "are you coming or are you going back to the roof to try and kill yourself again?"

Nazari, in about half a second, had her flute to her lips and the sweet sorrowful song floated through the air surrounding Kazen. "Sutā Style: Stardust Pentagram!" Nazari commanded before the scene faded away to quiet night with yellow specks of stardust falling down that shaped a pentagram. The fact that the Genjustu went without a warning left the girl unprepared to deal with it. Nazari walked through the stardust, in front of Kazen and looked her in the eyes. "Apologize now or you will suffer... And you'll be late..."

A pentagram of stardust seemed to form itself unnaturally fast around Kazen's feet. And along with it came the sweet sound of a flute. She only realized she had been caught in a Genjutsu when she saw the girl removing it from her lips. "Damnit!" Not being properly trained the young delivery girl was no match for the Genjutsu specialized Chunin. Nazari approached Kazen, in a reflex Kazen shuffled back, gently touching the stardust with her heel. It burned like hell so Kazen quickly retracted her foot. As she looked in front of her again she stood eye in eye with the younger girl "Apologize now or you will suffer... And you'll be late..." Kazen sighed and closed her eyes "I really don't want to..." she opened her eyes again and looked Nazari straight in her eyes "But I can't have that, I'm sorry for crashing into you" said Kazen with clear reluctance

Nazari nodded and played the tune in reverse, releasing Kazen from the Genjutsu as the scene went back to normal. "I really don't want to... But I can't have that... I'm sorry for crashing into you" Kazen said and leaned back on her heels. "Now was that so hard?" Nazari said with a smirk. In truth, she just wanted a reason to use her Genjutsu on someone and Kazen seemed to be the perfect reason. "Come on now, you’re going to be late,” she said almost in a teasing manner.

“Come on now, you’re going to be late” smirked Nazari as she released Kazen form her Genjutsu “Tsch, I already lost too much time, try to keep up,” said Kazen as she took off with incredible speed. She ran at full speed, she wasn’t allowed to go slower; her client would have her head if she were to be late. Kazen looked over her shoulder too see if Nazari could keep up. She was still a steady ten feet behind her but at least the distance didn’t grow.

Nazari was easily able to keep a good distance away from Kazen, not wanting to over do it but if she wanted to then she could have been able to be only half the distance away. But since she was not in a hurry, there was no need to go that fast. "Who is your client?" Nazari asked calmly as she jogged behind the girl.

“Who is your client?” came the question of the shinobi girl. Kazen grinned “err-haha… I don’t know. He wants to stay anonymous. I am supposed to meet a contractor…” some building came in sight “over there somewhere, by that tower” Kazen took a look at the sun, she was running out of time but if she would run at full speed, she would be able to make it “wait here” said Kazen to Nazari and dashed away at full speed.

Nazari thought that it was strange that she didn't know and not a good sign that the person wanted to be unknown, it was dangerous. She was about to say something when the girl dashed away and leaving her standing in the middle of a roof, frowning slightly. She sat down and waited for her to return before she went her own way.

Jumping up several buildings and running over several roofs, Kazen looked for the spot she was told to go to. A masked man stood in a shadowy corner. "So you finally decided to show up?" Kazen jumped at the sudden sound. She took the scroll out of her backpack and handed it to the man. He unrolled it, read it, rolled it back up and threw it in the air "Katon, Giant fireball no jutsu!" He blew a fireball at the scroll, scorching it, leaving nothing more then some smoldering cinders. Then the man disappeared with a poofing sound. "A shadow clone?" asked Kazen herself. Anyway her work was done and her reward was collected. Now it was just a matter of time before she would receive her next assignment. She jumped down again and found Nazari where she left her. "Thanks for the help Nazari, I'll be heading home now. Maybe I'll see you around some time and try not to run into you like I did again"

Nazari saw a huge poof of a smoke where Kazen had gone and was considering going over to see if everything was all right when Kazen came running back. Listening to her speak, Nazari just shrugged like it was nothing special. "I was bored..." Nazari said in response to her. A slight smirk played on her lips as she said that she would try not to crash into her and again, Nazari just shrugged. "That would be wise..." she said and then turned to go. Raising a single hand in a farewell as she walked away like she had not a care in the world.

It was that day, that exact day that her life regained some of its meaning. If someone who was so minor, so inexperienced could put her life on the line for a simple package, then surely Nazari could put her life on the line for something so much more important. Looking back at that day, she sees it as a message from fate. That even the smallest most insignificant part of life, has meaning and purpose to it. She began to go on more missions, even the lowly D rank missions, to make herself matter. Yes, she would die one day but she would die knowing that her life was not wasted.

Description: Edge is a blade made from a near translucent metal that almost looks like glass, the handle is specially crafted from a thick almost gel like substance that completely envelops the users hands. The gel like substance has small amounts of chakra in it that allows the gel to harden around the users hands. If not used to the gel, it could burn and cause irritation of the skin. The blade itself, is nearly indestructible and can cut through bone like it was plastic, although the metal is strong it needs to be sharpened occasionally. It's special properties is that it works as a instrument to channel her Genjutsu through. Even the smallest injury from the blade, the slightest contact, starts the Genjutsu.

Description: By playing a soft A note followed by a soft and short C note on her pan-flute. It makes the opponent think that it's midnight, by making it darker to them and the temperature drops. There are no shadows visible and there is a crescent moon that hangs in the sky with an open eye in the center to watch the opponent. It also acts on their fear, making them feel like they aren't alone in the Genjutsu and it causes the target to become increasingly nervous the longer the Genjutsu is in act.

Eventually it will cause the target to break down into a nervous wreck, immobilizing them while they are ensnared in the Jutsu. It has been said that once trapped in the Jutsu, the target loses all sense of reality and their screams can be heard.

Description: By playing a soft B note followed by a short A note and finally D note on her Pan-flute, she cast her Genjutsu. This Jutsu has a similar effect to Midnight Predator in which it changes the targets surroundings to night where the temperature drops. In the Genjutsu, it would appear that yellow glowing specks of stardust is following from the sky in the shape of a pentagram and if the target were to try and touch the stardust, it would make them feel like they were being burned. Even more so is when the stardust sticks to their skin and continuously burns them immobilized due the immense pain they are in. Essentially trapping them in the area of the pentagram while she can walk through the stardust or she can shrink the area of the pentagram.
Weakness: If the notes aren't performed correctly or if they are interrupted then the Jutsu has no effect at all. The target has to hear the notes in order to become ensnared.

In this Jutsu, the moon is full with what appears to be two open eyes in the moon watching the target.

Description: Unlike her other Genjutsu, this one is more subtle as it doesn't make the target think it's midnight. Instead it makes a barely visible moon appear in twilight, in a dense forest with a single path leading to a small pond. The target begins to hear a soft hum that turns into a louder but easily heard song about a lovely maiden, the song puts the target into a trance and leads them into the pond/where the user is waiting. This is by far the most difficult to perform and hardest to maintain as it requires her to keep playing the soft tune that cast the Genjutsu. The tune is as follows, a soft A note followed by two short C notes and then another soft A note shortly followed by a D note with another A and C note.
Weakness: She has to keep playing the tune throughout the Genjutsu and if she misses a note, then it automatically dispels.

This Jutsu is able to be done away from water if considerably skilled in performing water nature based Jutsu but the force of the attack is lessened considerably as well. It also exhaust the user quite a bit and should only be used away from water as a last resort.
Weakness: This Jutsu is strongest on water, but capable of performing off water as well but takes a considerable amount of chakra and energy.

The armor can expand and contract depending on the situation, it can even separate from the user to block an attack from behind.

Allowing air bubbles to maintain oxygen in the sphere, long enough to keep them breathing. In the offensive manner, the limbs shoot out and grab the target forming the same prismbut tighter and not allowing any air bubbles to pass through to the trapped target. The limbs can also grab and wrap around said target to toss them around before dissolving back into water.
Weakness: Consumes a huge amount of chakra, the more air it needs to support those in the prism the weaker the shield becomes.

And please refer to episode 14 of the original anime. But for the sake of ease, Naruto's nickname is The Number One Hyperactive, Knucklehead Ninja. If that's not the most ridiculous name for a ninja, then mine is probably the next best thing. But either way I laughed at how stupid it was. That was the whole point of it, to be ridiculous.
