As you may have guessed by the title, this is an interest check for a Fairy Tail RP. I was thinking that this could be done two ways, first a completely canon roleplay where everyone plays canon characters on non-canon adventures or second a completely OC Fairy Tail with different OC members of the guild. If either strikes your fancy or you have a different idea/opinion of how to go about this leave a reply below or PM me.

I prefer not having any canon as playable but rather story wise they can be and the story is our own.
A guild should only have three S Class like at the beginning of FT, Mystogan, Erza and Laxus, just a suggestion but yeah three S-Class per guild to make it more balance.

Strictly 7 DS and perhaps no second element or may not implement DS at all.

Showing my interest right here, and I agree with Masaki. I'd prefer not playing with canon characters.

I was leaning towards non-canon myself, and it seems like the popular opinion so we'll go with that. 3 S Class seems agreeable, for Dragon Slayers I think we'll have none to start with but they might appear as opponents or new player characters at a later date. The main question is will the guild still be named Fairy Tail or should we name it something else? Either way I'll start working on an OOC.

Not that it is banned but it needs restrictions. DeviL Slayers is less op hax cuz if I remember, Silver exorcists Demons by eating their souls wait I take that back, Devil Slaying Magic is has cuz not even Natsu broke out of Silver's ice.

Probaby should have said this earlier. I've only watched the anime, and haven't read the manga. so anything past the Grand Magic Games arc, I know nothing about.

Hello Everybody! I'm friends with The Midget and I'll be co-GM for this unless anyone has a problem with it for some reason. But anyways, We have been talking and we were thinking of possibly setting the rp at least 50 years after Emperor Dragneel has passed away. Also, we were debating having the source of slayer magic (ie. dragon, god, (devil) slayer magic) being sealed sometime in the past. We have some other ideas but nothing is really completely certain yet, but it will be interesting

Dirkinz will be joining as a co-GM, and we've finalized setting details. A quick summary of it is, those slayer magic (for reasons unknown) join together with Zeref and plague the world and are eventually defeated and slayer magic sealed at great cost. This leads to magic being shunned as evil for a long time. A hundred years pass, magic is being re accepted into the world, guilds have reemerged and the situation is looking much like it does at the beginning of Fairy Tail with one exception: Magic users are weaker than their predecessors as they are lacking experience. A more detailed synopsis has been written and will be released with the OOC but this is the general gist of it. The OOC will be released after a few edits and when the guild name has been decided. On that note, we need suggestions for a guild name as it will not just be Dirkinz and my Guild, anyone who wants to be will be a part of it.
