I did not promise you a good post, but merely a post. That promise has been upheld. Sorry about the quality, but I have some gastric issues with some acid reflux so... I have a hard time concentrating. Obviously, it doesn't help that it's nearly a hundred degrees in here and I am basically melting judging by the amount of moisture my skin is emitting.

Would you mind going further Reaper? Unless you want one of us to set the scene of the Ark we don't really have anything to go on except to just be like, "Okay, we'll come."

Noted, added on to the whole thing. I left certain descriptions of the Ark vague so the rest of you can add to it and flesh it out as well. Since it is an area where all our characters will be spending a great deal of time in, I thought might as well let everyone add their own flavour to it (well, within reason... dinosaur petting zoos are not allowed.)

I've been under the weather lately so I apologise if I vanish for a few days or seem a bit lethargic in my replies.

I got sun burned so bad that I can barely move, yesterday (even my fingers are burned). If it weren't for that, I'd be jumping around waving my arms about, I'd be that willing to make a post.

It's not meant to be, it's a bit selfish, but my time is valuable to me, so if I'm going to use my vacation time with a friend I hardly ever see, I'd like to know it's not going to in vain for a dead thread. The intent is not to be harsh, but rather to have open and clear communication. By letting the group know that this is how I feel, and promising a post afterwards instead of simply lurking, I had hoped to let everyone know that I am interested in and committed to continuing our adventures together, so long as others are willing to show some interest and commitment themselves.

I promise I'm not as cold in real life as I can be on the internet :p

Edit: Though I am as strange and existential as I am on the internet... >.<

I'm sure many people have things going on, its summer. But we're not going to make much progress if we all just poke the ooc with the "you first" excuse. Is it really that hard to type up a couple paragraphs? One post can't possibly take away from your schedule as much as you make it seem.
