Even though Shida knew there would never be any glory, any approval, in fact the entire population would view him and all of them as terrorists for fighting a war unseen by everyone but them, he barred his teeth, and decided casting this truth out to the others now would be detrimental. All he saw now was the hope the for a better future.. way off in the distance, waiting for him to grasp it. He went over to the nearest tree, half of the group had already fallen asleep. He figured he would rest his eyes as well, although he would find that sleep would not come as easy as he had hoped, for many thoughts of the future to come burdened his mind as he drifted away.

Wolgran

Hmm.. the Hygrons seem to have all agreed to fight the Vygorns. That is sure a good thing.
Wolgran was perching on a jagged rock potruding from one of the cave walls. He's been there for the whole time, listening to the Elementals speak.
Tomorrow will be a hard day for them. Starting off is always the most difficult part in a journey.
...I should go prepare their Zars.

The next day, at late morning Wolgran gathered all the Hygrons around yesterday's fireplace, except that there were only ashes now. Wolgran handed everyone a big hearty breakfast of mostly fruit and vegetable but also cheese and eggs in abundance. Taking advantage of the quietness while the Hygrons were eating, the old spirit began to talk.
"This is a big day for all of you. You must set out today and prepare your first offence on the Vygorns. They won't know you're coming if you do it right, but they surely know of your existence already. There is a village close by known as Riverdale where scouting missions are organised. I fear that the goal of these missions are to find this place. It would be a wise move to get rid of the there residing Vygorns so that you can use Nature's Haven as an emergency refuge or as a place to restock on food and water, without worrying of being spotted by scouts. Sadly, I have no information on the other towns and villages."
"For the journey itself, I have prepared three days worth of food, and a little bit of water. I believe your Fluvius Hygron can take care of water for you.
I also have something else for you..."
Wolgran stood up and walked to a heap of leaves. He grabbed one end of the leaves and with one quick movement, uncovered the earthen rack. The pile was actually a blanket made of leaves, which covered a tool rack made out of earth with pieces of metal sticking out as holders for the tools.
"These items are special, they are Zars, meaning that they are infused with an element. They are very powerful when handled properly and will increase the control you have over your element. Take what you need and go. We have waited long enough here, and every day will weaken us and strengthen them.
I wish you good luck on your journies."
With that, Wolgran faded away completely and a voice could be heard from further off the cave.
"I'll be here if you ever come back and need something"

"If we do this in earnest, we must remember that it will be bloody, old powers falling to new powers always are. That means in the end we will only truly have each-other, against all of the odds. That we must chose to do this, and stay true to that conviction. Gone are the days of being alone, it appears we have lost that luxury."

The old man had left them to sort out their feelings. Like some kind of group therapy for Elementals. For the most part, Hygrons seemed to find banding together not too shabby of an idea. The fire's warmth was making them all cheese heads.

Annoyed. "You've all forgotten the danger we're volunteering our necks for. Vygorns have one, more resources. Two, the ability to spy on the city. And three, that Void power they got doesn't sound like they're BSing around."

Cora toed at the dying fire, finding herself at the front of the room. People couldn't decide who to look at, her or little Irys. "Listen, I don't mean to be a downer. Trust me, I've been through fucking hell tonight. And if I see any of you out there, I'll say hi and we'll team up or something. But this is gonna be no cake-walk, and I won't have any ditz 'guiding' me. When I'm on the job, I work better alone."

Of course the first words she said to fellow elementals were cold. Who did they think she was? The element of rainbows and ponies?

She cursed her own apathy. "Sorry, that came out harsh. My name is Cora, everyone. I lost my home and everything I treasure earlier tonight and I just... I'm not feeling the best. When did humanity get so low that every day was a struggle in agony? Once upon a time we were a proud, great race... At least from what my mother said, rest her soul.

"I'm going to go lie down. If I've offended you, we can chat at breakfast. Please, pardon me."
Cora said, holding her temples with a grimace.

She found a some-what secluded area with soft grass and a mushroom umbrella. Judging the temperature was warm enough, she rolled up her black hoodie and used it as a pillow. Folding her hands on her belly, she looked up at the cave ceiling. Gloworms and other bioluminescent bugs dotted the stone canopy like stars, twinkling in Nature's Haven's sky.

"You miss nature, don't you?" Irys twirled into her vision, landing on her forehead.

A forlorn smile rippled over her lips. "I've never truly experienced it. They polluted the sky and the stars hid themselves. The moon in her sorrow dimmed her own light, and now it's a struggle to even see Luna at night."

Cora rolled on her side, moving Irys to hover over her temple. "My mother told me of a land once covered in trees and animals, fresh springs and all wildlife. Why would Vygorns take away something so innocent and defenseless?"

"Why did Jesse fearfully send you away? Irys thinks its all perspective. Like the following: Beauty is nothing. That would hold true for the Vygorns."

Cora winced at the sound of Jesse's name. "Yeah, if they even know what beauty is."

"All living things do."

***

Next morning, with everyone up and about, the old man made his 'big speech' face. Cora, nomming on some cheese, resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Irys seemed far more attentive, probably because of the fact they were both spirits.

"This is a big day for all of you. You must set out today and prepare your first offence on the Vygorns. They won't know you're coming if you do it right, but they surely know of your existence already.

"For the journey itself, I have prepared three days worth of food, and a little bit of water. I believe your Fluvius Hygron can take care of water for you."

"I have endless amounts of water access too." Cora grumbled under breath.

When the old man revealed his gift to the Elementals, Cora felt a pang of humility. If he was going to impart them with tools to even the playing field, maybe his advice was a little more sincere.

"These items are special, they are Zars, meaning that they are infused with an element."

She looked closely at the homemade rack. Each Zar was different from the next, changing form and need to suit it's user best. She saw things from swords to chain-mail, bows and axes, and items she couldn't label. The blades and metal were freshly polished, and leather recently treated. Keeper of the blades, old man?

She debated which she wanted when her hand passed a belt with two filled sheaths, making the metal within hiss and crack like ice. Slightly panicked, she grabbed the belt, revealing one of the blades. It was of exquisite design, with lots of grooves and artful flair, plus the overall design reminded her of an extinct snake. The blade was coated in frost patterns, freezing to the touch. Both blades were identical in their cold beauty.

"Fates that be, they know me well. I was training with something like this before bankruptcy shut down my master's dojo." Cora mentioned to Irys.

The black belt fit snug in her jean loops, clasped at a metal buckle below her belly button. The sheaths for the twins daggers were angled at a 45 degree at the back, making the wielder unsheathe from behind and bring the blades forward. They were at the right level where Cora's hoodie hid them, so she could easily blend in if the need arose (no one just walked around with antique knives anymore.)

"I can feel my non-shitty attitude rising. That's good, that means these little blades just made my day." Cora said, patting the back of her belt.

Aerilyn had slept in the wasteland above that evening, not trusting any of the other Elementals worth a damn. She still didn't know half of their names and they were to be partners in such a mission. We're still pretty much screwed over. Then the old man told them of Riverdale and what the purpose of its defeat was to him. She sighed a little before she leaned back, nibbling on a few berries that she had managed to find worth her while to snack on while the man had told them the plan. I feel sorry for this poor guy... He's been forced to wait for us for hundreds of years, only to have a bunch of pissy teenagers to come to save the day. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little disappointed. Then she popped the berries in her mouth to prevent herself from chuckling. She had to keep her face emotionless in order to give the others no reason to think that she had any weaknesses besides physical ones. Even those she intended to keep to herself.

The man then revealed the Zans, which she found to be rather amusing. They were morphing and changing in the presence of the Elementals, making sure that they could comply and enhance their powers as much as they could. She looked around at the others, especially Cora, as the girl picked out a belt with dual blades. Thats not bad, but... I think I'd prefer something smaller. She then saw one of the items at the end reveal itself, glowing slightly to gain her attention. She slowly moved toward it and picked it up from the heap. It formed into a dagger at her touch and she couldn't help but find a small smile grace her pale lips. "Hello, Demise." She muttered this mostly to herself before she looked to Skyff, who was perched at the back of the tunnel. He gave an encouraging screech and flew down, perching on her bloodied shoulder yet again.

She grimaced and slowly dug around the heap to find a should to wrist padding made out of soft leather. She tied it onto her right arm and patted it for Skyff, who shifted his perch. She let out a quiet sigh of relief when his talons were no longer digging into her flesh. Then she stepped back from the pile of weapons in order to make room for the others. She made her way to the back if the group and looked towards the hidden entrance.

Will pulled his hat over his eyes after shifting down so he lied on the log he was sitting. At his apartment, Will slightly moved his head as a piece of pottery flew past his head. "What the hell is this!?" His girlfriend shouted. "Why is WATER coming out of your hands!?" She exclaimed. "I don't know, just give it time! We can work it out! Please Sylvia!" Will pleaded. "No! It's not safe, you're not safe!" She retorted. Her head looked downward. "I want... you to... leave please. Until I can make sense of this." She whispered.

Will's eyed slowly opened and he shifted his hat upon his head to see rays of sunlight creep through the rocky roof of the cave. He put his hand against his forehead. "Ugh, what was that dream?" He whispered to himself. After breakfast, the old man revealed a stack of weapons and gear. All in amazing shades of blue, red, green and a plethora more. It seemed like the colour of the weapon sort of matched the elemental so he walked over and picked up a long spear. It had two mechansims along it, and in the middle of the shaft, inscribed in tiny letters, was the words 'Poseidon's Wrath'. Will then looked at the mechanisms. He activated the top one, connecting the speartip to the shaft. The speartip ejected itself, which had a small handle connected to it, which supposedly was inside the staff. Will then picked up a belt with straps and a long strap that ran along across his body. He put the new dagger in the chest hilt, and then pressed the second mechanism, disconnecting the staff into two batons, which he slid into his hip holsters, one on each side. The second weapon was a long whip, where the actual whip part was translucent and almost wavy like the seawater. He looked to the others who were also looking at their weapons, Tsunami brushed up against his leg.

Kimberly opened her eyes. Lethargy struck her as she recalled the difficulty she had falling asleep last night. Well, who would be able to after being tasked with such a heavy responsibility? She sighed once and sat up. The others were mostly already up and about, with their own set of problems to worry about. 'I know I seemed optimistic yesterday, but such a ragtag bunch would be able to make a difference... Right?' she thought.

After a silent and uncomfortable breakfast, the old man began to speak. The first mission was to supposedly get rid of a scouting camp, which had been trying to look for this place. There were a few things that seemed off about that plan, and Kimberly decided to confirm some things with him later.

When they were introduced to the Zar, Kimberly did not really feel any excitement. Earth as well as her golem were as good as any weapon, to her belief. After all, they were both hard and could kill things. However, to not appear rude, she went up to the rack and picked up a bullet crossbow. Bolts wouldn't be a problem, since she could terraform them anytime.

When all was said and done, she went to the deep end of the cave and looked for the old man. Spotting him resting, she asked him, "Say, old man, about this mission... Wouldn't the Vygorns dispatch much more troops to scout out this area if their current squadron just mysteriously up and vanished? I'd think they would get suspicious, wouldn't they?"

Wolgran
Wolgran looked at the Terrea Hygron, annoyed at the fact that his advice was questioned.
"Hmpf. Yes, they'd dispatch more troops, that's why you have to destroy the whole village, not just the patrol, so they will try to catch you instead of looking for this place further. They probably know of your existence already, maybe not about all of you, but definitely some. If you were to strike an offensive they'll see you as the threat and will focus on finding you and not to set up another scouting base and organise missions.
Keeping this place safe and defeating the Vygorns is extremely important. You must understand this!"
Wolgran went back to resting and closed his eyes while muttering with a slightly angry voice
"You Hygrons should talk less and act more, its almost noon already."

Shida often dreamed of the times in his past. He had been so used to staying in nice hotels almost every night, he blew all of his cash after every hijacking from his days as a raider, sometimes buying or sneaking his way into the hotels rich people use when traveling between cities. He often had himself his share of prostitutes as well, they were not hard to find in the rich or poor neighborhoods for that matter. But he was always viewed as a gentleman when he was in a hotel, he often referred to it as, " the laughing mask" when he was drunk. It had been his alter ego and double life he bragged about to his friends mostly while intoxicated as well.. and not all of it was entirely true, he may have slightly exaggerated some events for entertainment purposes.. not that he could remember that well anyways. He said things like "No piece of shit poorer than I could ever be with one one hundredth as many women as I by the time I die, and no man as rich and powerful as me will ever be as good of lay!"-Letting out laughs that sounded almost too enjoyably insane.- People were easy to fool when he was hiding behind the mask of wealth. He listened to many men brag, about their wealth, and their prosperity, and the way that they manipulate people.. One man told him of a time that he killed his wife, to collect the life insurance, in order to start a fundraiser for a cure for a disease that caused an epidemic a few years back. He said that it had made him billions within the first year..and that there was never any plan to make a cure in the first place. By abusing the state of political affairs, he said it was easy to accomplish this.. He was repulsed by this man, and later made him pay for his mistakes, he made him paid the price for his crimes against humanity, and that was all the reason Shida needed to end him. The distaste stirring in him as the man spoke to him hiding behind his mask imagined doing unspeakable things to this urchin possessed by greed.

When he awoke from a shallow sleep he had wondered if he'd met any of these Vygrons before..

After listening to the old mans speech as wholeheartedly as he could, which was not very much, he just sort of leaned into his breakfast, randomly grabbing at the blur of the table in search of food. He didn't even remember how he'd even gotten up to this table, everyone around him seem as if their faces were a blur. He tried to ignore it, but this has happened before, on a few occasions.. it will go away he told himself, as he drifted off into a nap in his bowl of vegetables.

When he finally snapped out of it, he heard the old man saying "You Hygrons should talk less and act more, its almost noon already."

Shida awoke, and suddenly had a brilliant idea..
He went over to the fluvius elemental, Will, he recalled.
"Will, I need you too help me make a hot tub, if you go convince that earth elemental to just wave her hands around a little, I will give you first dibs on a decent soak..." -after a short pause- "Although you look like you've already had one..."
Shida stopped and realized what was important here.
He leaned in closer and cupped his hand next to his mouth to cover his words too Will in a loud whisper.
"Look, if we play our cards right, maybe we can get a couple of these babes to go topless too eh? Have ourselves a real party before setting out to die. Whadaya say?" he nudged his side with his elbow playfully and smiled. Will looked as though his hat was going to fly off.
Shida slowly looked over at the girls laying in the grass across the haven, making sure Will noticed where his eyes were going.
"Bet you'd like to water those cantaloupes eh?"
Shida let out a barrel of laughter before Will had time to respond, slapped him on the back, and exclaimed "Don't let me down shark boy!"

Shida, praising himself for being a tactical genius as he strutted over to the stone nature freak had summoned out of nowhere, now that he thought about it, this journey was turning about for the best so far. Laying there was all sorts of weaponry, many of which he was already accustomed to. What caught his eye the most was the bow, beautifully carved out of golden yew and set with rubystone engravings. As he reached to grab it, it lit up in flames between his fingers, casting long waves of flame up and down the bow. A flame that never dies.. He looked down again, seeing a curved sword, resembling a Kukri, he recognized its beauty, as he had long had a strong appreciation of ancient weaponry. The blade was steel, but scorched to a darker reflection, it had an onyx stone handle as well, the blade traveling all the way through the hilt. A master smith must have carved this a long time ago.. he thought, picking it up, light in his grip. He also saw something strange, it was a small stick, resembling a handle. Not knowing exactly what it was he picked it up, it suddenly began to feel warm. He turned around away from the others, and instinctively, swung it in a lashing motion. What to his surprise, a long string of flame, extending well over 15 feet danced madly through the air, he felt it subside to his will, and then he retracted back into the handle and tucked the piece of stone into his pocket. He had never felt so much control of his power than when he held these weapons, they almost unburdened the fire inside of him, putting him at ease.

He walked back over to Will to see how the progress on the hot tub was going. He then realized everyone was talking about tactics on how to beat the Vygrons now, and felt pretty cheated, he glared at Will, and at his fedora. He walked over to everyone and exclaimed the following "So, which one of you lucky ladies is gonna get to be my girlfriend for the rest of the journey?" He let out a big smile to all of them. "Do you really plan on dieing out there without at least getting a little bit of action? Will told me that one of you here's got a crush on me, and he even said that he can "sense it in the flow of things". Pretty accurate information coming from a water sage like him you know." He turns to Will who is looking at him with confusion and gives him a credible head nod in return. Shida then glanced over at Aerilyn standing in the back, knowing he'd succeed in drawing her attention, he then winked at her knowingly.

Will couldn't believe the words he was hearing. Okay, yes Will is laid back but he would never indulge himself in vulgar manners at a time like this. He decided to play along when Shida slapped his back and laughed. He gave a slight, fake chuckle amd waited for him to walk away. "Fucking Shark Boy, my ass..." he grumbled quietly to himself. Shida then suddenly jumped up to a rock and started yelling out, he paid no attention until he heard his name, sort of.
"Will told me that one of you here's got a crush on me, and he even said that he can "sense it in the flow of things". Pretty accurate information coming from a water sage like him you know."
Will stared at confusion and then when all the ladies looked at him, he shook his heard, nearly too much. He then had an idea. He nudged his brother beside him. "Yo, check this out..." he whispered. Before the women responded he summoned a small ball of water in his hand and made it float. He made it go around behind Shida when he wasn't looking and above his head. Will made it grow from the size of a grape to a coconut directly above Shida's head and all Will did was let it drop onto him.

Ghost was practicing the entire night, barely getting any sleep. He even fought multiple shadow clones at a time. He needed to gain his control back, because if he didn't he would be lost to his dark side for quite a while and then not even the eye-patch would help anymore...
As the sun started to rise, Ghost gave in to fatigue and fell asleep on the spot.

When he heard words coming from somewhere, he immediately woke up and walked back towards the cave. He felt like he missed something important though. The old man was standing next to a rack filled with colorful things. Ghost walked past everyone, looking a the items, something was odd about one of them... It didn't really looked like an item, but once Ghost touched it, it merged together with his sword on his back. Ghost paused for a moment. He then felt chains going around both his arms wich then stopped once they were around his hands. For a moment he thought he was going crazy, but it was all real. The spikes on the chains pierced trough his flesh like it was nothing. He also felt something strange within the shadows, but felt that now wasn't the time to check it out. As for his new found weapon, he wanted to give it a go and test it, but Ghost just walked back outside the cave and waited for the rest of the group to get what items they need. He could always try out the chains some other time, once they depart.

Beau was among the first up, he rolled out of his giant-mushroom-bed-thing, or GMBT, as he had decided to refer to it, and, landing on his face, picked himself up and growled as he did so, seeing breakfast prepared, he scurried over as the others also began to awaken and the old man gave them some more information. Beau tried to listen, he swears he did, but it was all just so dire and important and monotonous for first thing in the morning, luckily he picked up on a few bits of information.

"These items are special, they are Zars, meaning that they are infused with an element. They are very powerful when handled properly and will increase the control you have over your element. Take what you need and go. We have waited long enough here, and every day will weaken us and strengthen them."

His brain making its way to fully functioning with the addition of a good meal and halfway decent lecture to the mix, Beau more or less tuned everything out, despite this, from what he did hear, the old man actually had a decent mind for tactics, having an emergency safe house and restocking station was a good idea, especially considering the nature of this war. He raised an eyebrow as Father Time drew the covering from over the pile of Zars, and in the back of his mind Beau heard the rest of the ancient's words but, again, he wasn't really paying attention, he had noticed long and sleek bluish-purple colored staff sitting among the other weapons, as he approached it and picked it up, he held it in his right hand and twirled it a little bit, it felt good, right, like it had been carved specifically from the bit of strange bone just for him, it crackled and as he held it he felt his heart race, Beau suddenly had a sense of being supercharged, like he could do anything he needed to, he holstered the Staff, noticing on the side that the words, etched in a language he had never seen before but completely understood, one word was carved 'Beau's'. Rolling his eyes at the implied pun and shaking his head, Beau turned his attention back to the pile. Noticing a boomerang as well, Beau picked it up, intending to make fun of whoever it was that would be chargin' into battle with such an antiquated weapon, though then he noticed that on one side of the boomerang the word 'Beaumerang' was engraved in the same language as that on the staff, laughing, and figuring that he would probably just call it something like 'Bolt', Beau turned the device over and read the incription on the other side, which was actually just a series of pictures that told a story.

As one hot, wet tear escaped down from the otherwise shockingly cold blue-green eyes of the lightning elemental, Beau put the Beaumerang in his jacket pocket, it fitting nicely in there. Finishing up with the pile, Beau caught the tail end of the conversation the old man and a girl, whom Beau was pretty sure was an earth elemental, and added his two cents into the conversation:

"You Hygrons should talk less and act more, its almost noon already."

"We should split up and half of us attack RockHill on the other side of here, that way The Vygorns have less of an idea where we are coming from, not to mention that Rock Hill is a mining town, and going for the resources is like terrorist tactics 101, we could arrive at Rock Hill about an hour after the time they arrive at Riverdale, which would put both attacks at close to midnight, meaning that we would most likely catch them by surprise" Beau added, sitting down next to the other two and then absent mindedly playing with the boomerang he had pulled out of his pocket.

Aerilyn was about to make a break for the entrance when she heard Shida talk about having a girlfriend for the rest of the trip. She didn't know why, but she felt a blush burning at the back of her neck when he looked over at her and winked. She tried to keep her face composed, but it immediately looked rather confused and startled, which was a rather funny expression coming from the usually emotionless girl. Her green eyes were wide and she had to swallow before she could even begin to recompose herself. Then one of the other boys, Will, as she remembered him introducing himself, dumped a ball of water over his head. She felt a smile, something that she hadn't done for ages, pull at her lips. She had to cover her mouth with a hand before pretending to cough. She didn't want them to see that she was just as easily entertained as a child. She was a stormy individual, and had to keep up that act if she wanted any respect from the others; or so she believed. "Looks like you need to cool off, dude." She said with a small smirk before returning to her natural state of boredom.

Then she turned her attention to Beau and listened to his tactics. She couldn't help but find his idea somewhat appealing to their situation. Splitting up into two groups would definitely cause enough of a distraction and threat to the Vygorns, perhaps enough so that they could gain the upper hand in this early war. "I agree with Beau. We're going to need to split up if we want to do the most damage this early in the game."

Shidas red hair drooped down in front of his face, and his golden eyes were simmering from thoughts of vengeance, how could Will betray him like this? After everything he put into place, there was gonna be a party, we were gonna drink alcohol, chill in the hotub, get ice girl to make it snow, and maybe even see some boobs. But Will was not the right man for the job, and he never forgave himself for not seeing that at first. After Aerilyn made her comment about him getting cooled off, Shida, turned his petrifying gaze to Will, and very intentionally set his fedora on fire.

"Oh shi-!" Will exclaimed as his hat was set alight. He quickly stomped it out and brushed of the dust and singed bits and folded it back out. He put his fedora back on his head and looked towards Shida. "Nice retort..." he started. "But tell me... can you stop a waterball flying towards you at high impact?" Will asked, conjuring another ball of water, roughly the same size as the last one. If Shida did play along, it would get the two of them training without Shida actually knowing. He looked to his brother and winked before looking back to Shida.

Shida dried out his hair by brushing his hand through it, evaporating the water. "Water versus fire?" he jested. This ones practically a no brainer.. "Finally some entertainment, I accept your challenge. Go on, take the first shot." He readied himself into a fighting stance, one leg forward and his arms in a lose guard. He felt the attention in the room drawing to them, and his heart began to race. He'd better be worth my time.

"With pleasure.." Will whispered. He pulled his arm back and shotputted the ball of water to Shida, travelling at quite a fast speed. Will waited and in his other hand, he started to prepare another attack to counter is come back. "Think fast hothead!" He yelled in a childlike manner, anticipating a fireball or something back. His eyes began to don a dim, blue glow and Tsunami, his guradian went into a prowling stance but he dismissed the water wolf in an instant.

Gilfred reluctantly woke from some of the first restful sleep he had in a while, he groggily opened his eyes as he pulled himself into a sitting position, and then from there to his feet. Yawning widely he took his share of the food, his stomach growling for real food and not the MRE's he had been eating. Taking a bite of egg and cheese he chewed thoughtfully and cleared his head as his usual alertness began to break through the heavy veil of his unwillingness to wake up entirely. Looking around the cave he was glad to note that most of the others were in fact there, and had not left in the night,. He finished with this as the old man began to speak, but his attention wavered as a glint from the table caught his eyes. Amongst the staffs, knifes and other such things sat two plate gauntlets, each on either side of a sheathed broadsword. His interest piqued Gilfred stepped up to the objects, the brass colored gauntlets shimmered in the dim light, the silver shard and inlaid designs catching the light. Without much of a second thought Gilfred slipped the two gauntlets unto his arms. When they were on completely each began to tighten, becoming the perfect size for Gilfred’s lower arms. ”Very… interesting.” He thought to himself, amazed a large smile on his face as he inspected the two pieces of armor. Both hummed against his skin, their powers mixing with his own. Reaching out once more Gilfred grasped the sword and unsheathed it with one fluid movement, the metal making a rasping sound as it cleared the leather. The blade was about 40 inches long, and shone with the same high polish, broken only in the bottom 12 inches where expertly inscribed vertical old English script simply spelled out the name of the blade, ”Clarent”. The hilt and crossbar were standard shape, made up of a slightly darker steel and dark wood coverings for the hilt, its ornamentation came from a piece of iron set in the pommel. Returning the sword to its sheath, Gilfred belted it around his waist and went to once more talk with the others, someone had to have a plan.

As he left the table and wandered back to the main group he saw his brother, Will, talking to Shida about something. He didn’t think much of it until he was next to will and Shida made his, slightly crass, in Gilfred’s opinion, proposition. That was when he was nudged by Will, who uttered the famous words, "Yo, check this out..." This simple expression made Gilfred grimace slightly, as it usually meant something funny,or chaotic, or both, was about to occur due in no small part to his brother. He was proven right when the orb of water came crashing down on Shida’s head, eliciting a grin and snicker from Gilfred. Shaking his head he stepped to the sides as things began to escalate.

“Play nice” he said in a half joking tone as he began to walk away, keeping side glance on the pair incase it got out of control . Letting the two go at it he joined the group discussing tactics. As he listened he found that the main plan seemed to be to split up and hit both Riverdale and Rock Hill at midnight.

"I agree with Beau. We're going to need to split up if we want to do the most damage this early in the game."

Gilfred nodded in agreement as Aerilyn spoke. The plan did make the most sense, hit two supply points, one a production point and split the attention of the Vygorns. Split their attention, split their forces. Split their forces, better survival chance and slower reaction time. “You can count my vote with the two of yours” He said after a few moments of mental deliberation.

Shida anticipated his first attack, and as soon as the ball of water left Will's hand Shida stepped to the side at the last second as the ball of water flew past him at lightning speed, Shida instantly began charging towards Will, seeing the water forming in his other hand as he drew closer, he knew his opponent would launch another attack at any second.. Now! Shida used a stone in his path to help launch himself into the air, and engulfed himself in a bright flame as he flew downwards at Will. "Now, you're mine!"

Will looked upwards to see Shida launched in the air. Will saw a plume of flame coming towards him, he sidestepped narrowly, the fire scraped his arm. Will looked up again, took a few steps back and in his old boxing pose, he threw a right hook into the air, obviously going to miss, but with the energy stored in his hand, a large disc of water erupted from his arm and spun towards Shida like a Shakram being thrown sideways.

Shida's fist pummeled into the earth as Will sidestepped his attack. When he looked up there was a huge disc of water blurring through the air flying directly at his forehead, he instinctively ducked below it at felt the wind rush across the top of his skull..Not bad.. he was finally starting to feel alive. Savoring the moment, Shida returned Wills attack by using his low point of gravity to kick two fireballs while swinging with legs out from underneath him above his head, preforming a back flip to regain his footing. One at Will's his chest and one at his head flying at him from below, and then he conjured a pillar of fire bursting out of the ground right behind Will using his vision as he eyes began shine a dark red. But let's see how you get out of this one!
