That is pretty much going to be the focus of Escgor/Hjaldr's Vale relations. I'm going to treat it that technically you are more established, and wealthier, but he is going to attempt to change that. We'll see how it goes. I'm always about the story, as opposed to winning, so whatever reads better will win in my mind. But that's a ways off yet.

Hang in there Henrik, you have most of the Jarls on your side anyway, or so it would seem.

I'd say our world is shaping up rather nicely. Maps have been updated on the stats post.

Henrik is likely to be King, but Koval won't back down; in fact, he's gone full on Migrane now.

Ahhh damn! We got a new contender for the crown! This Jarl Moot's heating up... and here I was worried we would have an uneventful succession.

What began as a seemingly easy victory for Henrik of Tyr has suddenly became more complicated, as the usual voices of support gave way to doubt from the Jarl of Arda'Njor. Jarl Koval has given his own name for the crown. As of now, five voices speak for Henrik, one for Koval and one voice has thus far been silent; Jarl Zarathustra Whitemane of the Isles of Wolves.

There is still time for new players to join the fray and Zarathustra to find his voice - a Jarlmoot could last through the week if need be. Once we hear from the Isles of Wolves, and unwavering support for Henrik continues, we might just have a crowning today.

Whoever is crowned, all Jarls will be expected to either swear an oath of fealty, or declare revolt.... of course a Jarl could also claim to support the king while secretly plotting his demise, but thats up to you.

I am extremely happy with the RP thus far, and commend you all on doing an amazing job, but the Moot is not yet over. A new candidate needs consideration and I am eager to hear from the Old Hound.

IC up filling in a bit of lore of the world. I really want us all to have a stake in Rheagonn, and be part of the creative process of forging this fantasy realm. To that end, I encourage you all to add your own lores and histories of your Jarldom, and flesh out this world as you like. The Pantheon is large and you should feel free to make up your own Gods and heroes whom your people worship to give your sub-culture its own flavour.

I shall link all your lore posts in the OOC OP for easy reference.

Hey Syrian, I was reading you bio some time ago and was wondering, would those mercenaries Bertil got hold of possibly have been from the Whitemane's? As they do run something of a mercenary guild form since before they became a noble family.

That idea is fine by me. He needed an army quickly, he wouldn't have cared who it was he hired, so it'd fit with the lore on my side of things.

It is time to bring the Moot to a close in light of the majority support for Jarl Henrik. Before the crowning, however, I would like an IC from each player giving either an oath of fealty or a call for rebellion. Depending on the outcome, we will move on to the next event.

I've updated the map post here. As you can see, I've added maps of the kingdoms. As Norsia have mastered the sea for centuries, you will notice that most of the coastlines have been thoroughly explored, as a result of coastal raids over the years. Players will have to put boots to the ground in order to uncover more of the map.
