Talked to WS yesterday, even if briefly, asked if it was dead- told him we are in a bit of a Rutt.

I would sadly say yes, with almost complete certainty. As un-interest and rl time demands took so many people away and I felt that (seeing no-one) else, basically, put forth effort that my attempts (and the few others) were falling on dead ears, hence why I stopped. If I had felt others cared as much as I did, would have kept going.

We lost too many of the core group to continue, I think. Doesn't help that we had 2 DMs disappear on us twice already.

No point asking him if it's dead when he wasn't even been online to check on things in the past 6-7 months. It IS dead.

Maybe I can't say it since I'm one of the DMs that disappeared, but it was a good run. I kept up in spurts and you guys really grew from the beginning and put a lot of yourselves in.

@Blazion I just feel bad because I probably would have fit in better if I was there since the beginning. Like... When I first joined before the fall of the site, I was very uncertain and self conscious of my writing style.

Like... I am better than I was three years ago for example. But... You guys had years invested in this.
Did I want to invest? I did, I tried to have my characters interact with others, tried to binge the lore as best as I could. (Granted it gave me the worst headache imaginable.) Hell, I even tried to rehearse ideas so they would make sense. But there are just some things that seem great at first, and then I go "That is dumb to use."

It is hard to casually just jump into. I was asked to join the reboot of the arc... And... It pretty much died the moment I joined simply due to the fact of he had life going on. Not to give his personal life; but he is a busy busy guy. Like, last I heard from him was months ago. And We are like close friends. But with lack of communication, it made me go "They probably could have proceeded better if I was not here."

There were a few post were I undoubtedly raised a brow or two. But you all stayed consistently good with your work. As an Understudy, I was happy to work with you all.

Makes me frown that I had to leave even before the site went down. I wouldn't have traded those two years back. I spent that time wholly focused on what's important to me.

To see this nostalgic piece fade away makes me sad. Nothing I tried on here lasted which is part of the reason I do nothing on RPG anymore. This stood as a stubborn testament of the dedication of this group.

I thank everyone for their perseverance and determination to keep this going. You have something to be proud of. I'm going to miss it.

I wish there was more writing and role-playing for me to do here but Roleplayer Guild is all but dead to me. =(

I don't have the hope to think I'll find something better. I was referred here by a friend I lost contact with and could never get a hold of again. I stuck around because I found the well developed writing of people I enjoyed to read. Being able to contribute made things even better.

This may be the end of Feral but I'd like to know, can we do anything together in the future?

Well, I've had a medieval fantasy rolling around in my head for a while now, if you guys would like to try it, I'll spin it up and give it a shot.

@ReaperNot that I have no interest, but I think I'll pass. I got my own project I need to monitor, and I don't want to jump into something late game if that makes any sense.

I could go for a new run with you guys. Even though my time with the group was a relatively short... I really had fun. One of the best rides in the guild I have ever had.

It's a shame Cadogan never got a chance to build an airship though.

Hey so, apologies for the massive necro that's happening right now, but there's something I wanted to post here.

I recently went through my old hard drive and found a bunch of my pre-Guildfall writings from the old site, including a whole fourteen posts from the original Feral thread. I've uploaded them to the gallery, but for the sake of completeness I also wanted to post a link to them in this thread. After all, they are a part of Feral, and it makes me glad that I can fill in a small amount of the work we all lost when the site went down.
