For me...

Sun is dead. He died in the battle or was eaten by The Dead. How he died isn't definitive. Sadly.

Eliza and Geoffrey defected to the Paradise Lands from Cypher's Zealots during the battle. They are both still alive. However, I am uncertain whether or not I will be playing them again. I might just have them around as NPCS.

I'm pretty set on playing as a new character or two.

@VioletRose Who is Tank? I don't remember that character.

I would love to use Sun as the catalyst that caused Ravenia to go crazy for a bit. She really did love him!

Okay, new characters are just as welcome as old!!

Tank was a secondary character I had made up. He was actually Ravenia's adopted brother.

I'm totally down for Sun being the catalyst. But since Exit told us how things went down for Cypher, the original idea of Cypher killing him is a no go. So what made Sun the catalyst? Who killed him then?

Also, did you happen to make a character sheet for Tank? Or did it not get to that point?

And The OOC still isnt complete. Would need to include blurbs about the locations and the available roles.

Are u officially gonna include the Half-Dead idea, or is that still floating around?

I would say that Cypher did not kill Sun, but the leader of the third group did. I feel like that would make the most sense at this point.

Yes, I did make a character sheet for Tank. I never was able to find a picture for him however. Haha!
Somebody suggested I use a picture of Armstrong from FMA at that time.
The character sheet, unfortunately, is lost somewhere in the OOC thread.

Okay, what else do you need from me?

I would say let's definitely include the Half-Dead. I quite like the idea. I think a community of them could be sprouting up pretty close to where PL is. That way there's another city that PL'er's can go to. Maybe like they're setting up a bartering system.
Obviously only the people that can stand them, and are brave enough, will go the city. But none the less, love the idea!!

Thats an interesting concept. A community of Half-Dead nearby. It would definitely be a strange place to visit. Most wouldn't visit knowing the circumstances of their existence. But im sure there might be 1 or 2 who actually live in PL. but they are probably just as despised.

Also what kind of bartering system?

Also, I'm good at finding face claims. I can help u find one if u still plan on using Tank again.

So the list of roles are as follows:

Mother(Already taken by you Rose)

Blessed Ones

Metahumans(Same as blessed ones, but if they are not in or from PL)

Warriors

Humans(Civilians)

Harpies(I think)

Half-Dead

I think that covers all the playable roles right?

Hey guys

OMG!!!! HEY METRONOME! WHERE U BEEN BRO???? U TRYING TO GET BACK INTO THIS RP GOODNESS? We are currently working to revive the RP. But there has been a 5 year timeskip so lots of things have changed. Currently, we are trying to discuss what has happened to all our characters before moving forward.

Who were ur characters again? lol

Also I suggest reading through some of our posts and discussions so you can get a feel of where things are going what has been discussed so far.

Already did.

Sorta.

I had a few characters, if I remember right.

I had Isam, the former leader of the Arab migrants. He stepped down from leadership due to some survivor's guilt shit or something.

I had Omar, the drug cartel turned medicine maker.

I had Fen, the wolf guy with no sense of modesty and poor social skills.

And Sasha, the mysterious Russian man. A defector from the third group, AKA the new neo Nazi movement.

Yes yes yes. I remember now! Definitely remember Isam, Fen, and Sasha(NPC if I remember correctly). I don't remember Omar though.

So if u read what we've been discussing, we are thinking of using the third group as the main antagonist for this 5 year time skip, since Cypher's group no longer exist.

Do you remember what the name of the third group was? Or did they even have a name other than being the Neo Nazi group? lol

Also, u know there was a big battle and many people died.

What was the fate of your characters? Alive, Dead, Somewhere else? We are trying to figure that out first.

*faints*

Haha! Just kidding. Hey Metronome!

Angel, the bartering system isn't something I'm too worries about. It was just something I was kind of throwing around.

I may need help finding someone for tank. I'm looking for a big, rugged looking man.

And the character roles look good. I'm not gonna have a whole lot of dependence on set roles this time. I think it'll give people the opportunity to make one themselves. So long as it's within reason.

Maybe poor Fen perished in the battle, mainly because I can't find a muse to play him anymore.

Isam could be alive and well, perhaps more at peace with himself now that he's had several years between himself and the migration.

Omar would a NCP still.

And Sasha could have healed up and integrated into the group. I had an idea for him having been a soldier for the Neo-Nazis back when he was young and gullible, and then he came to his senses as he got older and saw what pieces of shit he was working for. Having had past experience on the battlefield, and being the large man that he was, he could very easily fit the "tank" character type :3

@Angel Eyes Love the new OOC post.

Far as what I'll be doing with my characters specifically at the start of the Roleplay:
Clo:
Will not make an appearance in the roleplay for now but she is still alive and well and will make a comeback soon.

Skylar and Fraz:
Mostly downgraded to NPC status but I may play them every now and then depending on the story and where it takes us. They're in PL but not entirely important at the moment. Perhaps Skylar, given her skills as an organized and driven individual with a moral compass that points north, can have taken up some kind of leadership like role in the city. Advisor or just the head of some aspect of PL. Fraz would be a teen now and most likely dealing with his own issues and maybe some haunting scars from the past five years. Could have a little side story going for him and maybe he'll take part in future plot lines in a big way.

Cypher Vale and "The Woman":
At the end of the war, Cypher would have survived but changed dramatically as a person when he realized his daughter is alive and living in PL. His outlook on the city would have changed then and there. He escapes with the help of "The Woman". If you guys remember, Cypher had in his care (against her will of course) a woman whom he'd captured, questioned and was ultimately going to kill. She too has her own story and a peculiar ability which I have to relearn cause I've forgotten what it was. Essentially she becomes the love interest for Cypher and the two of them escape the conflict and disappear. I would have made this clear in the RP. They're alive and will make a return to the game eventually but that's waaay down the road. Just wanted to put it out there so that there's no confusion. I did say that Clo took a part in her father's death but that's how events unfolded according to her: she thinks he's dead (again lol).

Everybody else I have played in the past is dead.

As for my future more prominent characters:
I will be playing someone new. Maybe a few someones. Already brainstorming my contribution to our "Season 2" and am working on a few exciting ideas.

For starters, it's been centuries since "The Fall". Communities would have by now turned into large cities with working economies and such, PL being one of them. Logically there should be many but the world is vast and the distance between each is massive. In between the more major cities are the smaller budding communities one of which is made up entirely of Angel Eyes' "Half Dead". Season 2 would have to delve into the political relationships between such communities, a subject that would encompass a very critical aspect of such relationships: Trade.

My new character will be a trader by nature with secrets of his own and a vast knowledge of the extensive and impossibly large area around PL (which is situated in Louisiana last I checked). He'll help to open up the small world we've created to the much bigger world surrounding it. He'll be a fun character as well. Aiming to make any reading that involves him fun and enjoyable.

This is good. First to Rose.

Okay so the bartering system isn't something super major. Its basically like, the reason PLers visit the Half-Dead Community in the first place. But what they are bartering would need to be decided on if continuous visits are to happen? Though I think a good plot would be that the Half-Dead cause a little trouble with PLers of course. They still have their cravings they have to try and suppress.

Big and Rugged Looking Man? Check! I'll find some good Face claims for you to see if u like any of them.

And I personally think u shouldnt give people too much freedom to their own roles? Unless u mean roles as in Jobs? I can also add a Job thing to the character sheet.

We need to compound a recap list of what we know has happened to the previous characters so far.
----------------------------------

Now Metro

Its sad to hear that Fen died. I really liked him. Oh well lol But not having a muse to use him is kind of the same reason Sun perished too. Shit happens.

Isam is solid.

Omar as an NCP? LOL NPC. haha But yeah, solid too.

Also, I like the idea of Sasha defecting from the 3rd group and joining PL as a tank warrior. I don't remember him being a metahuman, but correct me if im wrong.

It definitely would hurt to have Sasha and Tank as the two hulking muscle power forces of PL.

Do you plan on making a new character tho?

Sasha was just a plain, boring human. Just a really big one. I think his face claim was Kevin Durand.

And I may or may not make a new character. I kinda want to, but I don't have any fresh ideas right now.

And I'm also toying with Isam stepping into a leader role again. My idea is that the section of PL that housed his people is getting a little too crowded. The vast majority of them still don't speak English, mostly due to them not doing much intermixing with the others, so they feel as though they are a separate community of their own. As the threat of starvation and disease slowly backs off, babies start being had, and the Arab migrants feel as though it's time to go out and make their own little civilization. Since Isam was their leader last time, it's only natural that his name would come up on the leader ballot, whether he likes it or not.

@ExitAH! I'm glad you like it! My heart is all a'flutter right now! Seeing everyone slowly meandering back into the RP. I love how your calling it Season 2 Exit. Brilliant! We should totally add that to the title.

The Day the Earth Fell: Season 2, or whatever. lol something clever. haha Btw your status, is the most adorable sweetest thing man. Thats EXACTLY how im feeling right now too. It's like coming back home from war to see your family whom you havent seen in years. This is such a euphoric feeling. So many ideas are running through my brain its crazy. I don't think ive ever been this excited to jump into an RP. But this feels...natural. Like we were meant to continue this story. Its so deep and rich. Theres so much more that needs to be explored in this massive world we have all helped to shape. Rose brought the concept, but we all helped mold it into what it is. Thats what makes this so beautiful. We all contributed.

But I definitely agree. I'm incredibly excited to see some new faces in here to bring fresh ideas.
__________________________________________________________
Now on a more serious note.

As Rose has stated and Exit reiterated, trading will become an important aspect of Season 2. A political turn in the story for sure.

Also, I love the idea of other cities having formed, but VERY SPREAD OUT. FEW and FAR Between. However, the idea that there are several very small communities in between these large ones(like the small community of half-dead) is a brilliant way to integrate other aspects into the storyline. The possibilities are endless. I'm sure with trading, comes betrayel, stealing, deciet, greed, etc.

Now, in regard to the Woman that is with Cypher. Did he have her killed? Or was that the first woman he captured when Cypher was first introduced interrogating her?

And your new trader character sounds very intriguing already. I imagine he's a bit cunning and sly and mischievous and crookedly charming as well. I still havent thought of what kind of new character im gonna create yet tho. I'm definitely leaning towards a type of character who is exact opposite of Sun. Not entirely sure tho.

I'm gonna make a recap list what has happened to the characters that we know of so far. And I'm also gonna update the OOC and Character Sheet and send it to you guys again once its complete.

Nothing wrong with being a plain boring big human. Sasha will definitely be useful I'm sure.

And you don't have to make a new character. No pressure. I'm sure an idea will come to you if u do decide to make a new one.

Also perhaps during the 5 year skip, Isam became a leader again, survived the battle, and he and the Arab's formed their own small community outside(but near) PL. And maybe Isam is the leader of that small community. So eventhough he and the Arabs no longer reside in PL, they still have relations with them. I can imagine Isam going to Ravenia when he is in need of help and vice versa. Aiding eachother since they are still on good terms. Just an idea though. But it could be interesting. You could even have a name for Isam's small community/village.

Also, I should think of a name for the Half-Dead community. Any ideas people?

Also, what name did u have for the third group? was there one? I think i already asked this, but I dont remember seeing ur answer if u did answer it. lol

Yeah that's the same woman. Cypher was supposed to kill her but it comes to his attention that sparing her would be more beneficial to his cause. He was going to leave her fate up to the triplets when he was done using her but of course events would have unfolded in ways no one would have expected and in time the Woman would come to genuinely care for Cypher and vice versa. The vice versa is more inline with her powers if i remember correctly. Something about having an effect over the "feels". Empathy telepath or some such but more specific than that. I'll have to work it out again but the details of the two of them and their relationship won't be important for a while.

Also I share all the same sentiments lol. This was one of my favorite games as well and I did the same as you... I'd come back every now and then just to give myself something good to read. This was (is) a work of art and hopefully we'll continue to expand our canvas.

That would be an interesting dynamic. So the Woman was an Empath. Interesting. So perhaps thats why they fell in love? Her influence over his emotions, or perhaps she could feel the emotions that he began to develop for her and she began to reciprocate them. But anyways, like u said, not important for a while. Besides, when it comes time to introduce them again, u can always reveal how their love flourished in steady flashbacks.

And thats exactly what this RP was. OR game as u call it. lol it was definitely a work of art, one we will definitely expand. there is so much more to explore and delve into. It will be brilliant. I'm gonna make the recap list real quick before I go to sleep. Or maybe ill make it tomorrow when i go to the library.

Okay, so , let me try and crowbar my old characters back into the RP with new ideas.

What if the migrants have already left to start a new civilization before the start of season two. It's a small, quaint little farm town with cement walls surrounding it, creatively named New Arabia. It's only a few miles outside of the PL, maybe a day or two's walk. The two communities have stayed on good terms over the five years, making good allies.

Isam ended up becoming the leader of New Arabia, because his people wouldn't take no for an answer. Omar migrated as well, taking his crops and farming with him. New Arabia does a good business with the PL, trading medicine, crops, and horses and livestock. So far, the little town is up and coming pretty quickly.

However, a new foul stench is brewing out in the wasteland. The remnants of the neo nazis are slowly banding back together, and have their eyes set on the smaller, weaker town of New Arabia. If they succeed, they will have the means and the will to take on the PL before they fully recover from the last war.
