My Orks almost got whipped out by a Tyranid hive so my numbers are good. Shouldn't be that hard to get them back in full strength. Not unless somebody decides to use a certain weapon of mass destruction against them.

Yeah they are a mix of everything. The two star forts are the only named ones. The Rest Are a mix Of military(guard stations, training, supply) repair stations,civilian stations. and as for the name your the first to Recognize it.

I was planning on playing deceptively, in a true "Tzeentchian" fashion, so I may not have as big of forces as others, but I'm not sure of that yet. We'll see.

I would say have a Well trained small force of an average middle sized force then you can be free to do your thing.

It is a balancing act I feel. The smaller and more elite forces are able to be better offensively since you can more easily transport a more powerful force. Large forces are better on the defense since they can grind anyone down in a war of attrition.

yep. Do what I did. Large army with a core of elite soldiers for offensive operations, leaving the bulk of the force to mill around to support planets that need it. Also I think you missed my NS its not posted on the first page.

The Forge World used to be mechanicus, but after the death of the Emperor, it became more of a supporting industry of the other planets, and was retooled by the New Macarthans once they arrived back into a war industry scenario. But it won't be as effective as a true Adeptus Mechanicus run forge world in this case.
