The expansion to my old RP, ParaCom: Adversary Uncertain.
The war still continues. During the spring of 2022, the humans and the paranormal fought to what seemed to be a standstill. However, the enemy leadership was resorting to using underhanded tactics. Rumors of human sleeper agents have arisen and formed a group codenamed "Extol." Whether they are brainwashed, bribed, or bullied into paranormal service, they would be seen as traitors to humanity and fought tantamount to the paranormal forces.
As for playing hardball, two can play at that game. Science and technology has came up with solutions to combat the new threats. The former has proposed gene splicing from the fallen paranormals to enhance the troops. Technology offered cybernetic augmentations as well as robotic support. Either way, ParaCom would accept the solutions equally, as both have their perks and quirks.
All volunteers have the green light. Any veterans of the old RP may port their characters to the OOC, which is coming soon. Also, anyone who signs up on the OOC before the RP starts will get an automatic promotion from rookie to squaddie! The RP will always be open for sign ups, so don't pout if we have started the RP and you want to sign up.
