La Soul Pirates: Introduction/ Lougetown

The commotion was almost instantaneous. Just that quick, with a few carefully chosen words and the new wave had begun. "And I'll be surfing on top". The Silver Eye Pirates were well known across all the blues. Before setting sail himself Soul came across many stories, that he grudgingly judged as mediocre events. Leaning against a stone building Soul would first observe the battlefield. He could hear empty declarations of war on the seas, false precognitions of becoming the king of the seas, and finding The One Piece for themselves. The ground shook as Mama Sam ducked her way out of the small shop she was in, crumpling the framed archway in the process. Her loud, strong, and joyous voice boomed like thunder even over the opera of gunshots and steel clashing.

"Captain!! It's begun, the wave we've been waiting on. What are you gonna do to prove your a legend"!?

Mama Sam was will forever be good for pumping Soul with the unexpected, a simple question like that could potentially push Soul overboard just to see how things would end. A sharp scream from a few yards away caught the twos attention. A large burly pirates was wildly swinging an axe, slicing everything and everyone in its reach. Locked onto the back of the pirate was Flagrant Hugo; his jaws locked on the neck of the immense size pirate. While hanging on to the best of his ability, Hugo began stabbing rapidly with a scalpel tucked in his sleeve.

"Mama's coming Hugo"! Sam's voice boomed. For her size she was quite quick on her feet, at least quicker then the average. Sam had appeared in front of the large man that towared at least 2 feet above her own large figure. She bent her knees in a horse stance, then with immense power forced her palm forward into the man's torso. Sam's hand sunk into his abdomen before he was blasted backwards, crashing through a number of Marines, pirates, and civilians, before finally crashing into a wall causing a large crater to be smashed into the stone. After dropping, still stuck to the wall was the small prodigy's body, Eye twitching. He shakily raised his arm to flick Sam the bird.

"I guess it's my time to shine". Soul smiled to himself. The young dreaded captain noticed the pool of weak pirates making an attempt at a head start in the New Era. Soul was easily picked as a target by many, after noting his lack of an arm. Underestimating him was their last mistake.

Soul could already feel the adrenaline. The excitement from not knowing whether today was his day. And he decided The Silver Eyes would determine his fate. If he could fight the Silver Eyes into submission, they'd have no choice but to give up the location of The One Piece. He started at a slow paced jogged, parrying and countering with well placed elbows and running roundhouses. Once he was in full sprint is when his survival instinct kicked in. Anyone near by could hear the monstrous growl he let go. They could see the steam seeping through the teeth of a smiling face.

Nearing closer to the execution platform, he noticed the pick up in marine numbers. He was actually in the back of a justice stampede, a wave of white uniforms with the platform as their destination. Soul; using his already built up momentum from running, leaped into the air. While gliding towards the platform he screamed to his victims "The new era has no room for justice and order. No room for the weak! You shall meet your fate today". His chest expanded, then he landed and skid to a stop knocking over few marine recruits. He stood with his chest poked out before exhaling a stream of flames, shaking his head back and forth to spread his burn radius. This minor attack stopped many of the lowly Marines, though those still with the will to fight continued to charge.

Soul ducked under a side swinging blade, then extended his legs straight to add force to the uppercut he'd just delivered to an untrained pirate sending him soaring into a crowd. Soul was now close enough to the platform to be heard and seen. "The Silver Eyes are mine you dirty government dogs". He spun around from the stage to catch the neck of a charging and unexpected marine. Soul then using his only arm, launched the marine towards to infamous pirates' platform. The marine screamed in fear, which soon turned to agony. While flying through the air, Soul inhaled enough to let out another stream of vibrant flames. The flames ignited the marine like a match turning him into a human cannonball, with a dead on course to The Silver Eyes.

Bristlebane resisted the urge to do something stupid at that moment and instead watched the fight that was about to explode. However for some reason his eyes alight on a strange man who appeared to be cooking in the middle of the fight, how fun. So Bristlebane swapped with the convulsing body on the floor and raised his hand eagerly, "Ohhhh me I want food!" he said exciedtly. He loved trying new foods.

Drake vs D. La Soul: Monsters Wrath

Drake watched as Elvira fought the scruffy marine and Ray fought the also scruffy pirate. Things didn't turn out the way he intended. Lost in his thoughts he just barely saw the flaming body come flying towards him. He took a oh so slow step to the left and it whizzed past him, flicking his hair. He saw a one armed monster at the bottom. He seemed to be screaming about taking them down blah blah. Drake screamed down to him, "You don't want to do this. I'll forgive you for the burning present but if you attack me you will die..." After Drake said that, he ushered the monster to the back of his mind, watching the sky instead, getting lost in thoughts once again.

"Did he just brush me aside"? Soul was not the type to start a fight and run away. "I'm destined for greatness. I won't meet my fate today"!! Soul stood straight looking to the nonchalant captain. His smile grew in his face as a larger reptilian arm began growing from his shoulder. This new appendage was asymmetric to his other, stronger, bigger. Soul crouched and took another great leap, this time less then 10 feet away from the platform. Gathering the necessary air in his lungs, he soared into his opponents line of sight to unleash another stream of fire. The flames weren't wide enough to cover the whole platform, a thin stream only to hit his target. Soul came right after the fire, with his newly grown arm cocked back, prepared to unleash the force of his devil fruit strength in the face of opposition.

Not once but twice he was cut from his thoughts. The stream of fire was easy to dodge, his body stayed still but he slightly moved his head, the stream jetting past him. What followed the stream was even easier to dodge, his arm swung at him, Drake jumped and landed on his arm, he stood on his hand like a butterfly to a human, "Don't do this, you attack one more time and you're 'greatness' will be cut short" Drake said to the monster.

"This guy. If only I could transform completely I would eat him alive.....Bastard". Soul was frustrated, and had to act quick. The scales on the La Soul captain's prosthetic began shedding away, the appearance of rapid dissolving. The Silver Eyes counterpart easily noticed the rapid weight change under his feet, and flipped off a few feet away from Soul.
The dreaded man spun to face his opponent. From the eyes of the crowd this could be seen as a showdown. Though this was a battlefield, you must keep your guard up. This being proven by two Marines making an attempt on Soul's life. Soul in joy, sprouted a large long tail. He simply, without moving, whipped his tail under the feet of the unsuspecting men. They tumbled comically to his feet. Soul's tail dissolved, before placing his foot in the two Marines. He locked eyes with his match. "I know I can't kill you, maybe not today at least. But I will leave my mark". Soul began smiling, showing his bright white teeth. Another gasp of air, his dragon prosthetic grew back into existence. Now Soul's other arm was covered in scales, growing in density and length.
Using the two Marines as an unexpected distraction just in case his enemy was watching his muscle movements, the action was immediate. He kicked both bodies simultaneously at his target. With incredible speed Soul followed immediately after, throwing himself in the air once more. But this time he was noticeably further, and seemed to not want to hit a target at all. He aimed for the platform. "Falling Dragon"! If Soul could successfully slam his arms into the platform, the added strength alone would cause enough force to destabilize and inevitably cause the execution platform to collapse. Then the sound of thunder, as his arms crashed into the fine wood. A quake only felt by those standing on the stage. Without hesitation he dashed after the Silver Eyes once more, now with the mind to unleash a flurry of punches, using his new stronger appendages.

This monster purposely missed and went for the platform, Drake thought to himself, Well, he wanted to leave a mark... Drake to occupied by his thoughts yet again he didn't notice that the monster was already dashing for him. Drake was too the side of the platform, just 3 meters off the edge. Attacking us I forgive. Wanting to prove you're worth, i accept. But... Drake finished his sentence screaming to the monster "You will not be forgiven!" Drake took a strong stance, no intention of dodging the on coming monster. For his size one would assume he's more speed then anything, no real trace of power... The monster came flying at him throwing his right and left punch towards Drake. Instead of dodging, he caught them, both of them. Drake wasn't just speed, is strength was on another level. The little section of platform behind Drake exploded into splinters. The sheer force of the monsters attack managed to do that. Drake's stare was cold, the monster seemed surprised he caught the punches. He tried to wiggle his hands free but Drake was overwhelmingly strong, almost crushing his hands with a little squeeze. Drake kicked with his right foot, right for the monsters left leg, it connected at the shin (Breaking the monsters leg?). The platform under the arc that Drakes kick had done also erupted into splinters. When Drake caught his fists the first time, it wasn't the monsters power that broke the platform, but it was Drakes. Drake kicked the wood under the monster, making it shatter and the monster, plummeting towards the grounds.

Soul had to admit to himself "So the stories are true then". The captain's now respected by the dreaded man, strength did match the stories he's heard. To be able to stop a head on attack like that, was...... impressive. With the adrenaline running through his body the pain didn't hit him on contact, but when it did it was tremendous. It took a matter of seconds before he could feel the intense agony in his leg. The wood below his feet splintered, ready to give out at any moment under his weight.
Soul couldn't stand anymore, he dropped to his knee, hands twitching in the powerful grasp of The Silver Eye captain. He looked up into his eyes and smiled his trademark cheese. "My name is D. La Soul". He breathed what felt like his last. "You'd should know the man who's going to kill you and your whole crew".
In the midst of battle the other La Soul pirates, noticed to late when their captain was injured. "Don't worry baby Mama's coming! Hugo! Mama's little Tasmanian, we gotta get Soul"!"Hugo was at the time throwing numerous scalpels from Mama Sam's shoulder, using her as a mount while she used her open palm style to strike her enemies down. Hugo crawled around Mama's body tying his long sleeves to her torso. He now hung on her mid-section, like a baby carrier. His arms stuck straight out, two large scalpels ripped from his sleeves. Mama Sam stood in a ballerina stance, before twirling on her toes.
Back on the platform Soul's head dropped. He began taking quick deep strong breathes, the wood below him gave in. As he began falling he exhaled the last of his breathe, over exerting himself this time. A fire hose of flames lashed out from Soul's mouth. This time stronger then his previous attacks. The flames burned through the wood and already weakened support beams and the famous execution platform came down with him.
It took them no time to spin to the platform to catch their captain. Skidding to a stop under the execution center. His body fell hard in Mama's grasp. It took focus to dodge the debris of flaming wood falling and carry two people, though Mama had the balance and precision. "If you were dead Hugo could use your body. Hugo was gonna tell Mama not to bury him Mama. He can still be useful. Shakakakaka"! Mama now sprinting for the docks. She was the crew intuition. "Mama knows best. If I was ready she wouldn't have came. But soon, sooner then you think. I'm going to kill you". Running along the shore line Big Mama didn't hesitate to jump into the ocean! CARRYING A DEVIL FRUIT USER!!!!

The platform beneath Drake finally gave way. He turned to Elvira who watched from the side and she commented, "We are so getting blamed for this..." Drake gave out a little chuckle and proceeded to run towards her, grabbing her on the way pass as he jumped off the edge. The ground came shooting towards them, killing heights. Drake put his hand towards the ground and cloud of smoke emerged from no where, softening their landing. Drake and Elvira laughed when they landed but was cut short when he noticed something way out on the horizon, his voice when to a dark side, no emotion other than anger and a hint of fear, "Go get Ray, we're leaving, NOW!" Elvira, confused as to why the sudden change couldn't help but ask, "Why Drakie?." He pointed to the horizon, "The rear admiral has arrived." Elvira knew the situation all too well now, in an instant she was gone, getting Ray so they can make a quick getaway. Drake couldn't take off his eyes from the sea, "Victor you bastard!"

Zerry actually stopped his dashing to the alley holding the former golden giant to watch the fights between the Silver Eyes and two unknown nobodies. He wasn't ashamed to admit that each of the four fighters would easily be able to defeat him if they wanted to on dry land at least, underwater he might have a chance. But since he doubted any of them would be stupid to fight a Fishman in their natural environment that was a moot point. Suddenly the Silver Eyes seemed to make a run for it, though he figured it was because they had done what they came for and now wanted a head start on the hunt for One Piece so he once again focused on helping out the interesting human.

Thanks to the element of surprise Zerry managed to knock one of the Marines close to the alley out from behind, but his colleagues immediately ganged up on the Fishman. Using his tentacles he held the opponent closest to him by slapping him in the face while using his poison, but it was clear that he would be overwhelmed by numbers alone at this rate.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

With his first pirate placed under arrest Elmusk felt pretty good about himself, sure she was clearly weak judging by easily he defeated her but that didn't matter he didn't do this for fame or glory. He continued on toward the center of town looking for obvious pirates and in the meantime letting a few rookies pass by because they could have just as easily been panicking civilians. When he got to the center he saw that the execution stand had been destroyed. "Just like pirates, to destroy something with that much historical significance."

"Ehhhh? Really!?" Remy says excitedly, the natural flattery of someone actually wanting to try what he'd cooked clawing its way up through a mire of doubt, despair, and resignation to the forces that conspired against him. He knew this was going to end in tears, somewhere far away his common sense was screaming that, but he couldn't hear it as he looked around for a place to set his makeshift wok. With no ready options presenting themselves he just laid it on the back of his first unfortunate customer, the heat not being enough to rouse him from his taste induced coma, before reaching down and pulling the horned helmet off the mans head. If given the chance he would prefer to use a real bowl, a clean bowl, but he was in the middle of a battlefield and had to make do with what he had, and all he could manages was a quick wipe round the inside.

He heard a loud crash but paid that no heed as he scooped some of his fowl concoction into the helmet using his knife. He was worried that it wasn't sanitary, sure, but it wasn't like anything could make this taste any worse. He waved to the guy who'd requested some, pointed to the bowl, took a moment to judge distance and feel the wind, and gave it a spinning toss. If nothing interrupted it, it should spin to a stop right in front of his face and hang there long enough for him to catch it. It felt good to prepare something for someone, and he turned around so he wouldn't be absolutely destroyed when the poor guy keeled over.

Speaking of absolutely destroyed...

"The Platform!" He called out. He hadn't realized he'd gotten so close to Logue towns most famous landmark, but he could clearly see the burning pile of wood and steel. "What!? Who did this!? Ohhhh, Mr. Gordon named his restaurant after that platform. What are the tourists going to come see now?"

Ray vs Rem: Leaders Pride

"Lead the way! I'll let you pick where you'll lose!" Rem smiled confidently as the other pirate jumped off the platform. He was sure of his ability to win, afterwards, he would take down Drake and finally stand atop the platform! Rem starting picking his nose nonchalantly, or so it seemed. In reality, he was taking a piece of mucus to use during a surprise attack. He hadn't shown off his ability to anyone, nor had he used it when fighting amongst the crowd of marines and pirates. He would likely have the element of surprise over the other more renowned outlaw. This only served to increase his certainty of victory.

"You're confidence and determination is one many should look up to. But biting off more than you can chew, i'll show you why that's bad" Ray stated to the pirate. He keeps picking his nice and leaving them on the ground. His attitude doesn't fit the dirty pirate type, he's planning something. Ray needed to get in close to use specialty and with that one thought in his mind he grabbed his pistols and loaded them with red bullets that look liked drills at the tip. I'm ready.

Rem smiled, dropping off the last of his mucus. All the drops were far apart from each other. This was less for him, and more for the sake of having a wider range for his attacks. It was likely that he would only need to use them if things started looking especially bad for him. He cracked his knuckles, letting out a loud laugh! "Of course I have to show confidence! What kind of leader would I be if I didn't?" With that, Rem charged at Ray, aiming a regular punch at Ray's stomach! For now, all he'd need were his regular attacks! His strength was monstrous as a result of his training!

Ray easily dodged the slow punch with lightning speed, "Is that it?" Ray was behind him now, Rem, still following through with his first punch, "You're far too slow." Ray kneed Rem in the right side of his ribs, forcing him forward. Ray stood there, smiling. "A leader? You have you're own crew? How many people are in it? oooo wait, what's it's name?"

em grit his teeth as he was hit in his rib. Ray was obviously very powerful, he was sure that the kick alone had managed to cause him great internal damage. It was safe to say that his pride had been harmed by Ray's insults. He quickly adopted a much more furious look, refusing to show anymore signs of weakness. "I haven't got a name yet!" His eyes looked much more intimidating, the playfulness from before vanished in an instant. "I'm still looking for members, but I know that my crew'll be the strongest in the world!" His pride was starting to make him think more irrationally.
Rem had become much less patient, he was now planning on defeating Ray with his next attack! Once again, he charged at Ray, seemingly consumed by rage! He did nothing differently from the last time! But he actually had another trick up his sleeve. Upon getting attacked by Ray, he would blow up the struck part of his body. But even with his rage, he couldn't help but think about what would happen if Ray moved too fast, or even found out about his power. Rem refused to falter even with these thoughts and kept charging at Ray!

"No members and no name. You're not a leader, you're weak and pathetic." Ray had enough, he wanted fun and was now getting serious, if he keeps it up, he could kill Rem. The same attack was coming towards Ray, He let out a sigh of disappointment, "This is not how a leader would fight, compose yourself, think before attacking and DON'T BE A HOTHEAD!" Ray screamed, bringing his leg down on his knee cap, it was unclear if it broke or not, but Rem was hurt.

Rem had a pained expression on his face as his kneecap was hurt by Ray's leg, but couldn't help but feel pleased as Ray took the bait. "I've thought about this enough..." Rem grinned as he spoke lowly. As their bodies made physical contact, Rem blew up his entire body, choosing to blow up the mucus that he had left on the floor simultaneously. Because of the resulting explosion, smoke filled the air. For an onlooker, it was almost impossible to even see either of the two combatants. But one thing was for sure, if the explosion hit, Ray would suffer a lot of damage!

Ray saw his body muscles tense up, in a split second his skin changed a different shade, Get Away. Ray jumped back at tremendous speeds, but a little bit of the fire had cut Ray along his cheek. The explosion was one of three possibilities Ray had thought of and took some minor precautions, Ray spoke to the smoke, "That explosion was sneaky, but nothing too strong, you're gonna have to do better then that mate." As he said this, he swung his leg into the air, connecting with Rem's shoulder, than again to his already damaged ribs. "You're no leader."

Rem coughed out blood as he was hit in the rib again. The drops of blood fell onto Ray's leg, Rem gave another smile, as if there was still a chance that he could win. "Don't think you've won just yet!" Rem blew up the drop of blood on Ray's leg. The resulting explosion would be very powerful, not enough to destroy any bones, but strong enough to at least cause great damage.

Ray laughed as his leg was blown back from the force of the explosion, flipping him onto his back. He laid on the ground, laughing at the surprise
"Ahahaha, that was awesome!" he yelled into the smoke. A chunk of wood came crashing down next to Ray, confused he inspected it. Looking at it he realized it was a piece of of the platform. Ray saw something coming towards Rem from the sky. Oh no! Ray ran towards where he could feel Rem was and tackled him out of the way. A metal beam came crashing down with strong force behind it, crashing into the very spot Rem was. "Ray, we have to go. Victor is here!" came Elvira's voice from the clearing. Ray looked at Rem and waited for the 'ok' to leave this fight for another time.

"Hahaha..." Rem gave a weak laugh, truth be told, Ray's attacks were extraordinarily painful. "We can finish this later, but next time I'll beat you without breaking a sweat!" Even after having being saved, Rem still had his pride. Although, a question was formed in his mind. Who was Victor? The Silver Eyes were supposedly an insanely powerful crew of pirates, what one man could frighten them so much? But all of these thoughts came to a halt as he realized what Ray had saved him from. It was a piece of the executioner's platform. HIS platform was destroyed. Slowly, rage soon started to build up inside of Rem as he gained the desire to take revenge for what had happened.

Late is a bit of an understatement, at this rate, Admiral Nicholas Barrimore might not be able to make it to Loguetow in time. They were traveling near the end of the Calm Belt for days now, and there was yet a wind nor a single wave to propel them. Thanks to their steam powered ship though, they were able to make a considerable yet extremely slow progress. The Admiral glanced towards the horizon ahead of them, and from the ship's starboard, he saw nothing but an endless blue sea, no sign of an island whatsoever.

"How much further captain?" Nicholas asked the ship's chief navigator.

The two were standing in starboard, both facing a wooden table where a worn-out map of East Blue was laid out. The navigator examined the map closely while Nicholas looked out towards the sea.

"An hour at the least, sir, I'm afraid." The man answered curtly.

A light blue den den mushi was placed next to the map, where it droned reports from different locations in Loguetown. Nicholas knew they have less and less time left to spare, and that he couldn't afford another hour if he wants to carry his orders.

"This simply wont do." The Admiral said finally, "Captain, from our current location, how much speed would it take to reach Loguetown in 5 minutes?"

The man considered his question for awhile, "We're already traveling at around 8 to 10 knots, and we're not that far from the Polestar Islands, geographically speaking. Only if we could increase our speed for another 30 knots, we could reach Loguetown in about half an hour. But to reach it within 5 minutes? I'm not quite sure, but..." the chief navigator paused, "It would take about 90 to a hundred knots approximately to reach Loguetown in 5 minutes, sir, but that's entirely impossi-"

A mischievous smile started to form on Nicholas' face, "That would be enough, thanks."

"Admiral Barrimore, you dont think..." The man paused, he was fidgeting uncontrollably that it makes Nicholas uncomfortable as well, "Please sir, I dont think that's a good idea."

Nicholas waved him, "We gotta do something somehow."

The Admiral leaped so high and so fast from where he was standing that the other man barely had time to react. Landing lightly to his feet on the ship's railing, Nicholas listened to the reports coming from the broadcasting den den mushi one last time.

"We, The Silver Eyes, Declare the grand quest for the One-Piece... Once again, Started!" said a man's voice he didnt recognize.

"Well, that's our cue." Nicholas sighed, "Do me a favor, captain. Send a message to all Marine officers throughout Loguetown, tell them to hold the scoundrels down, secure the pier, and let no one leave the island at all cost. Also tell them that I'm on my way," the Admiral raised the sleeve of his coat, revealing a black wrist watch, Nicholas examined it for a while, "A hundred knots you say? I wonder how much time would I save if I increase that in half?"

The other man gulped nervously, "A... Approximately 3 minutes, sir. Admiral Barrimore, please dont-"

But it was too late, Nicholas was already in the air hurling towards the water below them. With a muffled plop, the Admiral landed just at the water's surface. But instead of sinking, Nicholas managed to remain afloat by kicking the water so fast his legs became just a blur. "Two minutes! Tell them to hold them down for two minutes!"

But the navigator barely heard him through the loud booming sound and the water splash left by Nicholas as he dashed through Calm Belt in tremendous speed, leaving only the trailing straight line in the water, the only sign that suggested he was there a moment ago.

***

Lily was walking along the pier when she heard the shouts and gunshots. She immediately looked for a place to hide, and on her way, she found a huge black ship that seem to be unguarded. She climbed on deck, and then hid inside a cargo crate.

Soon enough, men in white uniform came storming in the docks. They formed a line separating the port from the rest of town blocking access to any ships docked in there. Lily watched all of them barricade their line and fought incoming pirates.

There were too many to count, and as the time drags on, they seem to increase in number. 'This is not good.' Lily thought. 'How can there be so many Marines in this island?'

And then suddenly, she heard a splashing near the ship where she is hiding, like something just hit the shore. At first, there was just water, and sea foam, but seconds later, a man slowly emerged at the edge of the docks. From her vantage point, the man appears to be average in height, lean but strongly built, and he's curly brown hair was slightly wet in sea water. He seem to be wearing a white coat, and underneath is a slim fit gold-white stripe tuxedo which apparently remained dry.

'How strange.' Lily thought.

Though there's nothing intimidating about the man, Lily felt something ominous about him, something powerful, and scary. Also, the man seem to be casting a huge shadow that it appears its engulfing everything around him.

The man walked towards the barricade. She was just too far away to hear everything but based on the reaction of the men in the barricade, the man in tux appears to be a high officer of sorts. They all stood in attention to him while the man gives his orders.

Lily tried her best to remain hidden for as long as she could manage, for now, the only thing she could do is watch.

Bristlebane waited eagerly in anticipation amazed the chef's scrounging skills in the middle of a battlefield. The chef waved, paused a moment, and then hurled the bowl of quickly arranged concoction into the air sending it spiraling to his feet. Bristlebane eagerly swallowed everything in the helmet licked his lips and waited a moment for the taste to kick in. To his surprise it actually tasted like something! Everything since he ate that nasty devil's fruit everything else pretty put tasted like dull paste, but this food had some kick to it!

He walked up to the chef and put his arm on the man's shoulder. "Aw don't worry i'm sure they'll come to see the destroyed platform. You can advertise it as the starting place of the new Straw Hats, the newspapers 'll eat it up believe me. Also your cooking skills are quite impressive, I think I'm going to follow you everywhere now." he finished his attempt at comforting the chef grinning like a fool from ear to ear. "Oh, and my name's Bristlebane."

"New Straw Hats? What are you..." Remy started, before getting a look at who'd come up to him. On their feet. Not on the ground. Not changing colors. Not foaming at the mouth.

That had never happened before.

He looked over at the other guy who'd eaten what he cooked, still there on the ground, before looking back at Bristlebane. He must have dumped it. He'd had that happen before, people dumping it and then giving him compliments. They were just trying to be polite, but that didn't do anything to help him grow as a chef. Still, he'd decided a long time ago that he wouldn't hold it against anyone that decided to throw his food away.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked. "New Straw Hats? Do you have any idea what's going on?"

Bristlebane grinned, "Well from what I can see." he said thoughtfully using his tongue to free the last vestiges of food and swallow. "We got some guys who want One Piece over there." Bristlebane said pointing at the Silver Eyes. "We got some uppity newcomers who managed to make just about everybody mad." this time pointing at the La soul Pirates. "And pretty soon here some marines are gonna show up and they're probably gonna bring at least a high ranking lieutenant or something. So you should probably bail before that happens." Bristlebane said finishing his quick summary.

The Silver Eyes

Elvira and Ray regrouped with Drake and were all waiting for him to say something. "Hey Ray, looks like that training with Sanji is finally paying off" Elvira said, breaking the silence. "I need to warn everyone, Luffy wouldn't want us to just leave without at least giving these people a chance to leave. Besides, something else is coming..." Drake said pointing over to what was only described as a moving wave. Ray pointed out, "The water is almost completely still, there's barely any wind, so how could one wave even exist?" Elvira, thinking of a reason turned to the serious captain, "You don't think they'd send one, do you?" Drake nodded in disbelief, "An Admiral and a Rear Admiral!? The new age of pirates scares them this bad. Get to the ship, I'll warn everyone." Elvira and Ray turned and ran towards the pier. Drake, losing his high position to address the crowd, needed to get everyone's attention. Damn, I didn't want them knowing I'm a logia user, pirates don't respect pirates who can take hits like a coward. But their lives are at stake... Drake looked up at the sky and then to the explosive bombs on his belt, meant for crowd control, that'll get everyone's attention. Drakes lower body turned into a cloud of smoke and he shot towards the sky. Once at a high enough level, somewhere were the execution platform was, he exploded the bombs, everyone stopped and saw Drake. In a deep and loud voice he tried not to show fear, "Listen everyone, escape right now! A Rear Admiral and an Admiral are not too far off the docks." Pointing to the pier, only realizing they have in fact, both landed. "THEY"RE HERE! RUN!" Drake said panicky. If they're at the docks... Elvira and Ray Drake exploded his body, slowly covering the island in a smokey fog cloud...

Victor

Victor, the young Rear Admiral is the third highest ranking marine. He didn't want to come at first. He thought with his position that others would come and do something as petty as taking in pirates, but, his Admiral made him come so it was not an option. However, he wants to come now, his target isn't the lowly petty pirates. The Silver Eyes, actually no, Drake. An old score to settle. He looked behind his massive ship, his own personal one at that, and the Admiral came whizzing past. Show off... They had arrived at the pier, anxious to get Drake, his Admiral had him stay at the pier for now, a plan was needed. And if it goes to hell, Victor is to fight Drake and kill him, ending this delusion of a new pirate king. A smile broke across his face at the thought...

"An Admiral and a Rear Admiral? Just great." Unfortunately for Zerry while he wasn't paying attention the marine he had knocked out had recovered and gotten back up making his odds even worse then before. The fishman was up against five armed Marines on his own, and though he could knock each of them out in one hit the other four would still easily be able to defeat him. He quickly went over his options, even if he escaped the admiral and/or rear admiral were still a threat. "Looks like I have only one option left, I surrender." The Fishman said raising his hands in the air. However the marine he attacked still wanted to get at least one hit in and he punched the pirate in the stomach."

Elmusk of course knew about the Rear Admiral but that HQ sent an Admiral as wel was news to him, however he had more pressing concerns. He saw what happened between Zerry and the Marines and headed right in their direction. "How dare you attack someone who has surrendered!" The guilty Marine get hit in the shins by the shaft of the Warrant Officer's spear.

This was a lot to take in, at least until the pirate blew everything up ans screamed run. He really didn't have anything to fear from the Marines, he wasn't a pirate, but he also didn't want to risk getting trampled. He looked over at Bristlebane. Was he a pirate? Probably. But he'd tried to compliment him on his cooking, and that was something that Remy couldn't forget. "This way! Let me handle everything." He said, taking off past the ruins of the execution platform toward the row of buildings behind it. He gave his makeshift wok a spin before sending it careening through one of the buildings windows, where it spun to a stop on what looked liked a writing desk.

He was lucky. It looked like everyone had taken off from work on account of the commotion in the plaza. He leaped in through the window and took cover as he listened to the panic outside.

Bristlebane easily followed Remy as he smashed into a building by using his makeshift wok as a makeshift battering ram for the window. He jumped into the building throwing in a frontflip and landing perfectly, then turned to Remy. "So whats the plan chef?" he asked curious to see what exactly he was doing, it didn't seem like hiding would work very well for very long.

"Well, I figured we just hang out here, wait for the Marines to run off all the pirates, and then tell them we just got caught up in everything when it happened." Not a lie, in Remy's case. Not even close to a lie. "I'm a local. My boss can vouch that I'm not a pirate, and so long as you don't have a bounty I can vouch for you and say that you and I met a few days ago and you definitely weren't here for any Straw Hat announcement."

"Then, you can, you know, head for the Grand Line without any hastle and, maybe, you know, sort of, take me with you?"

Mar Kite sat up in the bed of his boat. It probably was not the most honorable thing to be sitting in the bedroom of his empty ship while there was an obvious battle going on in Logue Town. "Ensign were ready to set sail." Random crew member of his ship came in. Mar may be the commanding officer on a vassal of a boat that had a capacity of five people on it. That didn't mean he didn't need to get used to being an officer. In fact it caught him off guard the other day when a choreboy saluted him. Either way it was about time he got out of bed and took command of his post. Mar pulled on his Marine Jacket and strapped his blades to his back as he walked out to the deck. You could call Enign Kite a bad Marine but he was betting that the skilled pirates were all going to escape. It did not matter how many admirals came to stop them. Mar picked up a Den Den Mushi demanded to speak with the Logue Town Office. "Sir, this is Ensign Kite. I have spotted wanted pirates leaving the port. Do you want me to pursue?" The Marine Officer stated.

"But Sir no pirates have touched their ships" His Sergeant came up and pointed out to him. "That may be but if the Chain-of-Command has no way of knowing. Besides when the pirates do escape then it will put us in the perfect position to sink them." Mar told his subordinate. "Sir, does't that seem a bit dirty?" the Sergeant inquired. "It may be a bit dirty but there is nothing worse than letting those filthy pirates live for another day. Do you understand that or do I need to request a new Adjutant because you fell overboard, Sergeant?" His subordinate apologized for question him. "You have approval Ensign." The Den Den Mushi responded. "Thank you, Sir" Mar said as he put the Den den Mushi back under the wheel.

Bristlebane nodded knowlegably, "Thats a good plan. We can just sit here, hope nothing bad happens, then make it to Grand Line pretty easy. Maybe we can even recruit some poeple along the way!" he shouted excitedly. Then he sat down on a nearby chair and pulled out a yo-yo and began playing with it. "Hmmm, I wonder what our crew name is going to be..." he mused to himself idly.

Nicholas arrived literally with a splash. He leaped off from the water too soon that he ended up barely making it at the edge of port, making an amount of sea water to crash along with him to the docks. Shaking off the water in his hair, and his clothes, Nicholas walked towards the barricade his men made. The Marines all stood in attention as soon as they'd seen him, though some of them seem surprised even though they knew he's coming. Well, he couldnt blame them, you dont see people running on water often, not mention it was an Admiral who did it.

"I'm sorry I seem to have flooded the port, and my hair's a little wet too." Nicholas smiled sheepishly, "What's the current situation, Lieutenant?" The Admiral asked, getting back on business.

"Y-yes, sir! I-I mean, no problem, sir. Well, um," The man incharge of the barricade seem at a lost for words, but once he managed to compose himself again, he said, "Most of them are still in the plaza, sir. The Silver Pirates seem to be fighting off some of our men and a certain pirate group. So far, we had managed to fend off anyone who wanted to get on their ship, sir."

"I see everyone's doing a great job. Keep at it, Lieutenant." Nicholas said "By any chance, do you have one of those den den mushi that is connected to the town's intercom?"

"Y-yes, sir!" The man barked an order, and then a petty officer stepped forward presenting a pink den den mushi to Nicholas. Nicholas took the receiver and then started to speak.

"Mic test. Mic test." There was a second of ear splitting feedback, and then, when it died down, as if on cue, the town went to a temporary silence as well.

"Hello?" Nicholas said, hearing his voice ten times louder and coming from different locations all at the same time is weird. "This is Nicholas Barrimore. I may not look like it but I am a newly appointed Admiral of the Marines. I'm still not used to the job, but I promise I will do my best. For now, I am ordered to apprehend all pirates in this island." Nicholas paused, "But since its my first order in the job, I'll cut you some slack. Within 10 minutes, my men and I will try to catch as many of you as we can. And if by any chance you managed to survive that long, I will let you leave this island. No chasing. Although you can be sure that we will not take you lightly within the allotted time. So how about it then? Your 10 minutes starts now."

Nicholas put back the receiver on the shell rest with a clank. He can only hope that all of the high ranking officers in the island heard him and understood his plan. He knew Victor and rest should be around somewhere in town. Nicholas walked towards the man incharge of the barricade, "Lieutenant, if it isnt too much to ask I want you to sink all their ships." The Admiral ordered.

The man appears to be shocked, "S-sir? But detonating takes time."

Nicholas gave him a mischievous smile, "That's what the 10 minutes are for."
