It's a bit tougher coming in later on when they're looking for more unique characters that are grounded in myth. There can be overlap and such. My character was a variation of one I made in the past, only this time I went more with Greek legend that it originally came from. Having a basis like that helped quite a bit. Also people tend to hate spiders so I rarely see anyone do anything related to spiders.

Not officially. But the idea was for people to know each other in some capacity. That is what it is a "Yes, and" it implies that it is after something previously. @Exie's character knows of @Necrophage's but not vice versa which I think defeats the purpose to some extent.

I dont necessarily think it defeats the purpose, but I can understand why it bothers you. In any case, I'm just waiting for one of the GM's to tell me what to do.

It will work either way. Not like Arachne knows everyone. Though her name may be well known because of her position in the supernatural community at large.

I've submitted two characters and both were rejected, so that left a hole in the CS stuff.

The Yes, and part can be changed. It is just the most direct way of involving Gray in this world without putting him in direct risk of execution by the council.
