Personality: Kind and down-to-earth, Jix is as devoted to his peers as he was to his duties on the ranch. As with any soldier, he loves his country dearly, and would not hesitate to give his life for it. Many say that he is not the type of person who should be in the military because of his soft manner, though his resolve to protect the people and persecute evil is unwavering. As much as he aspires to conform with the soldier stereotype, deep down he is still a country boy at heart.

Biography: The sleepy life of a commoner was more than enough for Jix Moros; born in the lush southern countryside of Cliace that was close to the Great Divide, he was the oldest son of farmers who lived away from the bustling towns. As with all children born on the ranch, he and his younger brother, Jax, were raised to assist in the responsibilities of managing their lands at an early age.

Regularly, Jix would accompany his mother on their wagon to travel to the closest town in order to barter their produce. It was a quiet life, but a quiet life that Jix had wished to keep, for as the years passed and he grew older, it was eventually time to leave his home to pursue his own future. He made his way to the towns at the center of Cliace, but wherever he went and whatever profession he took, the transition away from the simple lifestyle he had was too overwhelming.

Unable to find a place of his own, Jix would end up enlisting in the Cliacian Army as a means of finding purpose. There, he was finally able to adjust accordingly, graduating among his squadron of fellow soldiers in due time. From stopping bandit raids to transporting goods to the poorer provinces, his twentieth birthday came in time for the announcement by Emperor Deacon; there was a rebellion stirring up in the southern districts, and he would begin to gather volunteers alongside members of the regular army into a joint group to be sent when the time was right.

For the time being, Jix was stationed with his platoon at a temporary encampment near the border of the southern districts. Troops loyal to the dissident faction stood watch opposite the Emperor's forces. On a particularly normal day, the entire encampment was caught by surprise as they spotted a winged beast above the division, and watched as it was shot down by the dissident troops. Fortunately, it crashed into their borders, and when nobody stepped up, Jix went to investigate the strange beast.

Sure enough, it was not an actual winged beast that was being called a dragon. In the fiery shambles of the strange sky contraption, Jix found a man and a young boy together, both unconscious. Telling his platoon about them, they hauled the two out of the strange thing, and treated their wounds at the encampment. Though, a direct order from the capital issued by Emperor Deacon himself was relayed to them; Jix was to transport the captured people to the imperial palace, and the soldiers were to cover up the incident to not incite fear among their citizens.

Personality: Not many, if any, people truly understand Altan. Despite being somewhat friendly, he is a rather peculiar individual, seldom speaking about himself or his origins. He appears as if he is constantly under the pressure of finding answers, growing frustrated with the questions known only to himself. His tone of speech is rough in manner, and when he is angered, it can be difficult for him to control what he says. Like most Laguz, he harbors a significant dislike for the Beorc, and can be passive aggressive towards them in many instances. Altan, when spurred by his beliefs, can become fiercely charismatic, not hesitating to smite those who disagree.

LONG BIOGRAPHY

Biography: The first thing that Altan could truly understand was the death of his father. He, like his parents and those around him, were slaves owned by their Beorc captors, kept underground in the mines and away from the surface. Altan's father, in an attempt to cause an insurrection against their masters, ultimately failed, and his execution was meant to serve as an example of their plight.

Even though he did not know what the words meant, Altan always dreamed of the world above them. It took thirteen years, but the dream came true; the young bear would awaken to the sounds of clanging metal within the mines and without his mother by his side. He made his way to the epicenter, or rather, the aftermath of a battle. Scattered before him, were the lifeless bodies of his captors, but also his mother. A sword-bearing girl was kneeling beside her body as Altan crawled towards his caretaker, unable to cry from the hardship he had already endured.

The girl, introducing herself as Leena, was joined by six additional men whom she identified as the vigilante group that her sword belonged to. Without anywhere to go or anyone to stay with, Altan was offered their company; it was the first display of humanity he had witnessed other than that of his mother, and for the first time, the sunlight stroked his face as he stood on the upper world. As time passed, the group drifted all across the continent to make a name for themselves, preforming duties from liberating Laguz slave camps to eliminating corrupt nobles.

Though, after four years, a rift grew between the leader of the company, Busk, and Leena after a disagreement in the group's future set the two lovers apart. Altan, complied to follow his savior, remained by Leena as they parted ways with the group. The two of them resumed their duties as vigilantes, and it was only then that Altan realized he had fallen in love with Leena. Despite this, he would tread lightly; it was taboo for Beorc and Laguz to be involved in such a relationship.

But their bond was immeasurable. Just as Leena was about to fulfill her lifelong goal to become a famed swordswoman, the last mission they would ever take was the elimination of their former group. After completing the task, the two learned about the sacrifices they had to make in order to accomplish such a feat, and they decided that it was not worth continuing. A twenty-year old Altan would confess his longtime affection for Leena, who reciprocated such feelings, much to his surprise. He had been hesitant due to their racial differences and her being four years older, though she stated that it didn't matter much to her, joking that he looked like he was the older one.

They moved to Estron, where they soon had a son together; but, as a result from their racial differences, Altan lost his ability to transform and Laguz body features, and Leena was unable to bear any more children in the future. Despite this, they were content, and Leena renounced her adventurer's spirit by surrendering her sword to care for their newborn child. Altan worked as an airship supply transporter to provide for them, and life was relatively normal for the next year.

That is, until the officials of Estron looked into Altan's background, learning that he was a Laguz man wed to a Beorc woman. Viewing this as a criminal act against the Creators, the Chancellor of Estron ordered them to be eliminated. In the middle of the night, he dispatched troops to kill any person in Altan's residence on sight. Altan, a sound sleeper, had not woken up, but Leena did; just as she went to check the sounds of their door being burst open, she was apprehended and killed by the troops. Her screams sent their child into a cry as the baby woke Altan, discovering his wife dead and her murderers. With his bare hands, he beat and ripped them apart in a blind rage, learning that the Chancellor had sent them.

Weeping over how fast their family had been torn apart, Altan vowed vengeance against the Chancellor. With his son cradled in his arms after burying Leena, he went into hiding at an abandoned factory, salvaging whatever parts he could find and beginning to invent a weapon that could fire from a range longer than the bow. It took him three years to develop a prototype as he was barely able to feed his son with the little scraps he could scavenge, waiting for the right opportunity.

The Chancellor was to deliver a speech at the capital, which took him several days to enter without detection. Altan, knowing the layout of the capital, stowed his four-year old son on an airship at one of the development docks, telling him to wait until he came. With the weapon in his hands, he set up his position and waited. When the Chancellor came into view and began to deliver his speech, Altan fired the weapon, but it severely malfunctioned just as the shot was about to go off. The lock of the weapon came off as the prototype spewed a small fire from its breech, burning the right side of Altan's face. Not allowing his chance to be lost, he pulled the trigger once more and threw the flaming weapon without turning back to see, knowing that regardless of the result, they were coming for him.

Evading the military police, Altan commandeered the airship and took off, now a fugitive. He flew the ship across the Great Divide and hovered over the southern provinces of Cliace, whose citizens regarded the sight as "the return of the dragons." Alarmed at the sight, an order was made for cannons to be set upon the winged beast; ash filled the sky as the airship was unable to remain stable, and Altan was forced into a hard landing, clutching his son in an act to preserve the child's life over his own.

Fortunately, Altan's airship landed just outside of the southern provinces, and in the territory of the Emperor's forces. He fell unconscious for the next few days from the landing, and when he woke, he was chained to the wall of a prison cell, his son missing. As he struggled against his bonds, he was met by Emperor Deacon in person, who stated that they were fully aware of Altan's status as a fugitive from Estron. He had originally intended to send him back across the Great Divide, but offered the man a preposition; if Altan told Deacon everything about the airship and help his forces put down the rebellion, Deacon would return Altan's son and give asylum to the two of them.

With no choice, Altan reluctantly complied.

Appearance: Sayuri is 5'11" with waist lenght hair tied into a long thin pony tail. She wears black boots, black pants, a white sleeveless shirt, a red sashlike belt, and white cloth bandages around her hands and lower arm leaving her fingers exposed. She also usually wears a long black cloak and a dark red dragon head necklace.
Personality: She is extremely laid back and carefree rarely taking anything seriously. Despite being kind and aprochable most of the time she rarely opens up to people keeping much to herself. Especially when it comes to her past. She enjoys fighting, reading, and drawing. She dislikes losing money and people who live in the past.
Biography: Sayuri lived in a caravan for the majoraty of her life only spending the past two years on her own. Both of her parents worked in the caravan. Her mother was the daughter of one of the major merchents in the caravan and her father was one of the guards. As soon as she was able she was taught to defend herself by her father and how to buy, sell, haggle and other merchentile things by her mother. While her life was rather busy she enjoyed it. Things were going well the caravan had been doing well until the worst happened. The cravan had been traveling through Stroulia on it's way to Kadrien when it was attacked by a group of Laguz. The group took the cravan by surprise. The result was terrible for both groups. The caravan was almost completely destroyed leaving only 10 surviors. The Laguz didn't fare as well. Only four managed to survive and escape with their greviously wounded leader. Sayuri was equally wounded in the battle having fought the leader. They were able to make their way to a nomad camp that was nearby to recover. After recovering Sayuri decided to strike out on her own and live on her own. She spent the next two years as a decently successful traveling merchent. Now with a civil war brewing she is making her way to Kadrien to avoid getting caught up in the war.

Personality: Appears as a down to earth, easy going man being more childish and silly than an adult male should be. And for about ninety percent of the time, this would be a true statement. He hardly ever shows anger and has only done so once and that was when he was a child getting put in the corner for misbehavior. He really only seems to radiate happiness, while people will say this is a good thing they would rather him be happy and mature.

Yet for that ten percent, is when he is cold hearted and out for blood hence the mask. He wears it so he can enter an alter ego sort of state where he is nothing more than a trained killer, that will achieve victory no matter the cost. He has shown that without it on that he has troubles with killing others, even if its his job to do so. Fearing they will remember his face and haunt him, so he wears the mask to hide his face and to hide his real self.

Biography: Born in a plain town that's biggest population was a hundred at most. Zeig would spend most of his day fanboying over the soldiers that would arrive every now and then, to deliver supplies to the village. So it was a humorous sight when you would see a male in his twenties bouncing up and down like a child. Thats when one day a female soldier tossed a wooden sword at him and grinned, saying that usually they play with the children and not grown adults but that he would be an exception. He would laugh and rub the back of his head, and would end up getting the shit kicked out of him. He almost wished he was a child, she would have let him win at least.

Yet he aimed to make sure that the next time those soldiers arrived, that he wouldn't be beaten in ten seconds flat. So he practiced for months against a scarecrow of course as others were too busy, so it looked humorous to see him jabbing at one with a wooden play sword. So when these soldiers arrived, and the same female from before dangled the wooden sword in front of him he accepted the challenge right away. He lost, he did last another ten seconds though which made him pump his right fist as he rubbed his chest with his other arm. The woman would laugh and finally introduce herself as Mira, she would then offer him a ride to the capital where he could be a professional soldier. Instantly he accepted this offer and would say goodbye to his parents as he shook with excitement on the horse ride back to Calice.

He would spend the next two years training and greatly improving his sword play, while also having his sparring matches with Mira from time to time which she would win hands down every time. Their relationship would also blossom into something more, with the other trainees teasing him for losing to his own woman every time. He waved this off though, he had fun with his spars even though one hundred percent of the time he ended up with an injury. Upon graduation at the age of twenty three, their first task was to wipe out bandits that were terrorizing a town. So all the new graduates plus a few veterans, one being Mira rode out to the town where the bandits were causing chaos. They were told to pincer them in and eliminate them. They had the superior numbers so wiping the bandits out should of been easy. Yet for Zeig when it came down to it, he just couldn't raise his sword to kill them. Even when one of his allies had one at a stalemate, he couldn't rush in to help him and instead watched as the bandit's ally rushed in and killed his ally.

At the end of the day the bandits were killed but they did take some casualties. And on the ride home Zeig just sat in silence with a terror in his eye as everyone decided to leave him be. Upon return, he was stripped of his duties as a soldier and was deemed un-fit to protect his countries people. So he spent his days at home, where Mira would still visit him and spar with him. She did find it odd he could spar with people, yet when it came to a real fight he just froze up.

One day he decided to take a trip back to his hometown while Mira was off stationed to the south. On his way back to his hometown, he stumbled upon a rather well built man being robbed by three adult males. The robbers all has knives, while the male had a sword. Zeig had his own sword but he shown to be a coward when it came to a real battle. That didn't stop him from being spotted and dragged in, instead of having to fight though the black haired swordsman looked at him and held his hand out for him almost as if to tell him to wait. What Zeig saw was the fastest stokes of a sword in his life. In under ten seconds all three robbers were dead before they had a chance to react. So when he was approached by the swordsman, he was shocked and somewhat scared when the man mentioned that he could see it in Zeig's eyes that he was a coward when it came to killing, yet had a love for the art of swordplay.

They would set up camp together, in which the man would tell stories of how hes met many people with the same fear, and they all overcame it with a weird but effective method. That was when the man pulled out a mask out of his pack and handed it to Zeig. He was of course confused but when told the reason behind it, it all seemed to make sense. If he had troubles killing as himself, then if he became someone else with a different face then he would have no troubles protecting his country. No one would be able to curse his real face and haunt him and instead would simply hate a fake face. This however was put to the test, a mile to the east was a small bandit hideout. In which together they would arrive and wipe them out. Nervous he accepted and walked the next mile to their little camp, putting the mask on he went into the fake face's mindset and like an upgrade to himself he showed no hesitation in striking them down with help from the man who gave him the help from the start.

With the bandits dead Zeig would thank the man before they parted ways, where Zeig would spend a nice week back at his hometown before arriving back at Chalice and asking to be reinstated, he offered them a test to prove himself. With Mira's vouching for him they reluctantly gave him one more shot, so when news spread of a little bandit hideout, a group of veterans took him out to combat them. Once they arrived they were a little confused by him putting on a mask, yet shocked to see him actually fighting them off and striking them down. With the bandits dead they all applauded him and returned to the capital with nothing but good remarks and so he was reinstated in the military.

After three years in the military, talks about a rebellion would surface from the south and the emperor would begin to recruit volunteers to put this rebellion down. With the volunteers plus the actual army, Zeig didn't expect this rebellion to end well, but he did admit to some curiosity about their accusation on them enslaving Laguz.
