No, I am nowhere near completion. It is however very good to to keep you in anticipation. Although if any of you would like to help with the story, I can give you some general direction for the themes I am going for and 'sub-contract' the writing since it may be awhile. Working on cranking out the zones within a week. Then I will move onto factions, gods, and finally the market, the last of which will have to be mostly me. I will post a rough timeline later. Also, I am sure somebody will drop out, so bide your interest! I will also be releasing story updates as the journey goes on if you are interested in reading about the world, and I plan on a part 2 on the horizon within a somewhat timely manner, which will be far less structured than this. Also, so info about the planned structure:
Each zone will have a few 'quests'. They will hopefully give you a direct and noticeable purpose to visit the listed subzones. You will also usually be accompanied by NPCs whose motives will usually drive the motives of the party to a relatively unified front if need be. Also, I am not making maps mostly because if you all say you want to travel west, against the wishes of the group navigator, toward the Lost Kingdom of Sichi-Laoni (Chapter 3) instead of the target baddie's tower in the north, we will have a problem. Nonetheless, I will hopefully be able to provide a broader map at some point in time with a few set locations.

Try in game going against the story. I may actually reward you for going against the machine in that scenario.

Also, here is a quick list of which races belong to which kingdoms:
Fyrdgard: Elves
Tyrgard: Humans
Gyrdion: Dwarves
Crunyth: Tiefling

Jathygaer: Dragonborn
(More to come)
Also, sub-races are seen as more body-types than anything. Not really symbolic of actual racial divides.
Next, two tweaks to races:
Half-Elves and Orcs are not 'half' anything.
They are their own races in all ways, as racial inbreeding is impossible. Also, Half-Elves PM me. There will also be much more addendums/tweaks to races.

Say, UltikanaRe... so that I can begin building my character to save time, reading of the city will we spend a good time within it? My character idea is basically a Ranger that acts as a sort of vigilante, moving at night and with a particular outfit and identity to take out the greatest evils in the city but that also concerns themselves with what's going out beyond it... thus, they'd be perfectly willing to step out of the city and adventure in case it's needed. They would be one who tries to always be prepared and have the right tools for the job, having a hidden workshop where they train, maintain their gear and the like before taking to the streets and possibly having a rooftop garden where they raise medicinal and possibly poisonous plants to use when they go on the hunt.

Would that character concept work and be viable for the game?

Both Rangers and Druids have complicated stories, as nobody has been outside of the city gate in centuries. The arbormancers are the center of this particular story, which may be awhile. I am extremely sorry for the suspense.
If you are looking to be more of a sniper, I can work something out with rogue or fighter with you.

Oh it can be an Urban sort of Ranger really, doesn't have to specialize into going into the woodlands beyond growing their own little garden at home. I want to try a dual wielding Hunter Ranger, they can be active within the Lower City fighting against the thugs and gangs there hiding their identity for the sake of those she cares about... and more importantly, because she's just one person relying on her tools so if the gangs know where she lives and can mass against her she's very much screwed. Hmmm this concept true can work with Rogue or Fighter easily as well, but I haven't played a Ranger yet and I'm liking their features.

The wait is not problem at all, actually gives me a lot of time to get a concept for my character set ^^

I've been busy this past few weeks with studying for exams and weddings (2 cousins got married in the last week alone ), so this wait is working out well for me.
