Hot-blooded, competitive and super spunky, it’s hard to bring Cassie down or keep her sitting still in one place. Cocky and self-confident she absolutely hates losing and is not graceful in defeat. She’s also not particularly bright but she has some common sense.

She is quite miffed that there is not a UA Hockey Player card.

History

Whatever the sports equivalent of an omniglot is, Cassie is. She can do it all. Hockey, football, other football, basketball, wrestling, skateboarding, you name it, she probably has a medal in it. Now she has her sights set on the latest craze: Action Dueling and looks to put her superior physical attributes to use in the world of Duel Monsters.

Cassie grew up in an average Canadian household to not so average parents. Her father was the coach of a Minor hockey team, her mother on the other hand was the Captain of the Canadian Women’s Gold Medal Winning team. Safe to safe she had quite the legacy to live up to. Her parents practically raised her to be the ultimate prodigy, enrolling her in all sports teams and taking training inside the household. What they couldn’t understand, however, was her love of Duel Monsters and her desire to apply to the Duel Tower. The reason why Cassie, who could go to the Olympics in any sport she chose, wants to become an Action Duelist is because she wants to make it on her own in a sport that’s still relatively new.

Appearance:
Brad has the appearance of a meathead. Large (6'3") and bulky (208lbs), he can be quite intimidating, especially due to his upright posture that almost never bows. His dark brown skin contrasts with his short, shaggy blond hair. Not the kind that is filled with product to look like he just woke up; it's messier and less intentional. His dark brown eyes are often squinted, which lends to his scary look. The reason is he refuses to get glasses and figures he'll just adapt to it. However, puberty was not entirely kind to Brad as his face is riddled with acne, with some slight scarring when he used to scratch at it mercilessly.

Personality:
Brad is neither a gentle giant nor an aggressive goon. Brad is a very serious teen, filled with focus to do the best he can. He can often come across as standoffish, which while not his intention, isn't something he worries about fixing. He has a distaste for violence but admits it can have some useful applications in dire situations. He has high hopes for himself and is hopelessly stubborn. While he isn't often one to start joking around, he does jump in if someone else starts the silliness. He has a very set in stone view of morality and a weird reverence of 'the Light'. Together, they form his strict code of honour he holds himself (and often times others) to.

History:
Brad was born to an engineer and a stay-at-home dad, the second of four children. His parents taught him a very important lesson from a young age and that was to chase your dreams. After all, if you didn't, who would? Brad's dream was to become a professional football player, as a wide receiver. He had the speed and the strength to break through tackles, so it looked like a sure thing. Unfortunately, during a practice, he badly pulled a hamstring and, while in pain, got tackled in a way that concussed him. Doctors suggested he take on another dream. After months of heated arguments with his parents and doctors, Brad finally relented and returned to a back-up passion: Duel Monsters. He quite enjoyed playing Noble Knights, as he felt a certain connection with the honour of the knights. However, after being mocked for being so straight-forward, he decided that upon arrival at the Duel Tower, he would prove that he was as smart as he was tough.

Ignia Nosfera

Full Name: Ignoire Lilly Nosfera (However she prefers to just be called Ignia)

Personality:
Ignia is a person whom appears to have a bipolarity disorder at a glance. her personality quickly shifting between happiness and anger. Yet that is usually a ruse to make her feel more secure with herself if the person doesn't know what she truly feels. She finds it hard to trust people with her emotions but she can open up with enough prompt and a little dedication from a person.

Ignia is also a MEGA pervert and is the reason for Vincent's perverted tendencies, due to the time they spent together in their youth (true perverts start young she says). men, women, Ignia likes to pervert on both sometimes with a camera if she hates the person. When she is confronted she freely admits it with a smile from ear to ear because its fun to do so. She is also not above using those pictures she got from her pervert Ventures as bargaining chips however she rarely does so. Furthermore she doesn't wear dress's to avoid the inconvenient view that must perverts worship. "The hunter must never become the hunted" she says.

While She has given some personality traits to Vincent he has also had a influence on her personality as well. She has his increased aggression during a duel (though hers triggers upon the destruction of her cards.), which of course causes her to be more merciless as it drags on. At the end of the day though She is a nice girl whom knows the value of people is that which is inside.

History:
Childhood is something that can influence a child, people are influenced by their friends all the time and sometime their and their friends can be changed a little due to the time spent together. Vincent and Ignia spent a lot of time together as best friends even though Vincent was a very aggressive child his personality seemed to mellow a little more with her, and as a result she grew a little more aggressive and reckless. You could almost see the pair as almost as close as siblings, playing card games on the front porch their scores mostly tied though Vincent was a little ahead.

Shame life isn't always fair and Ignia moved away and while Vincent was having his own Issue's, Ignia was having a few as well, like making friends though she still managed to get a select few and in a school for the highly academic being able to play a game that was mostly banned at the school for being unable to grant a student a proper intellect, you could imagine her excitement when she got the chance to apply for the duel tower. Anything was better then not being able to play a game that had brought her many memories.

Personality:
Joshua is blunt to the point of rudeness and does not hesitate to speak his mind. He is also a lone worlf, preferring to keep his own company to being around others. Despite these two traits, he's capable of being friendly and helpful to others and does not hesitate to help those who are in need of it.

During duels, Joshua is analytical, confident, and prefers to take a more tactical offensive approach. He prefers to think his moves through and take the best route available for him while also aiming to have a back up should said plan fail. He's also friendly during duels, believing that duelist should respect each other and enjoy the game. Those who belittle their opponent greatly anger him and he does not extend his politeness to them, believing them to be unworthy of such a thing.

History:
Born to a middle class family and the youngest of three, Duel Monsters has been a part of Joshua's life since day one, since his parents own a card shop and the game is their best seller and the center of their biggest events. At the age of five, Joshua's was given a deck based off of the archetypes from the Hidden Arsenal clans, as was a family tradition. Joshua chose a Gem-Knight Deck and began playing with it, with his family instilling the beliefs that he holds to this day.

As Joshua grew older, he began entering tournaments and trying to aim for bigger spotlights, Joshua tried to become a professional Duelist at a young age. However, his recklessness and unwillingness to think his moves through resulted in many losses, frustrating and humbling the boy. His older sibling moved ahead of him though and where able to win several tournaments, frustrating the young boy even more.

At the age of 12, Joshua considered quitting the game until his brother, who he did admire, gave him advice while also criticizing Joshua's selfish tendencies. Taking the words to heart, Joshua began working on improving himself and, after talking it over with his parents, applied and was accepted into Duel Tower to further improve himself.

Personality:
Amelia is a polite and sincere young girl who is hard to get to know due to her overwhelming shyness. She typically doesn't reply to the questions of others verbally and when she does, she often speaks in a low voice. Amelia is also very hesitant to take part in anything related in physical activity due to a heart condition that can prove fatal.

During a duel, Amelia is a bit more vocal, though still on the quiet side, and displays an overwhelming lack of confidence in her abilities. Despite this, she shows a good knowledge of defensive tactics and tends to take a slow and steady approach to her duels.

History:
The daughter of a rich class family, Amelia's first few years of life where tentative, as the girl spent most of her time in the hospital due to a heart condition she had from birth and often put the young girl at risk of death. As time went on though, she got slightly better and was able to stay at home more often. As a result of this, Amelia's parents became very protective of her and she was watched over and cared for like a delicate flower.

One of Amelia's favorite pastimes was to watch Duel Monsters on her family's TV and she could usually be found watching tournaments or other events. This inspired a love of the game in the young girl, though her parents didn't entertain this interest due to the existence of Action and Turbo Duels. Eventually, they even blocked off any channels that showed Duel Monsters in an attempt to get their daughter to lose interest in the game.

Sadly for the, this did not happen and she became even more passionate. After several years, some research, and several arguments, Amelia convinced her parents to let her attend the Duel Tower, letting her experience Duel Monsters in a controlled environment where her health could also be monitored.

Appearance:
Lanky (a good 6'01" with a frame one could describe as "worryingly slim"), shaggy. He is not someone to make a particular first impression, what with his appearance always unkempt and dirty at best, his dirty-blond hair always covering over his eyes, although this is more through laziness toward cutting it more than any style sense. Furthermore his style sense seems to be picked up from whatever happens to fall onto him that day, running a horrible mismatch of clothes no matter what he wears and usually something inappropriate to the conditions.

Personality:
"Lazy slacker" does not even begin to describe Elias. He is comprehensively the most laid-back person he knows, often to the point he has been confused for someone under the influence. He does not set his sights high, often preferring to take whatever is the easiest route to getting a passable way through everything.

History:
What's to talk about? Elias lives in Portsmouth, England. He's always been a monumental slacker since day one and owing to his recent failing grades at school, he enlisted to the Duel Academy by sheer force of BS, seeing it as a far easier option to traditional education, not to mention stardom as a Duelist seems like a pretty easy life to have overall. So, sure, why not?

He has a history in his life of things going wrong. Well, not so dramatically but he tends towards the "bad luck" side of the spectrum and is a frequent example of Murphy's Law. If it can go wrong, it will go wrong, be it from social slips to missing that one vital detail even when paying attention, even as far as his Academy enrolment, delayed by what can only be described as copious amounts of red tape getting in the way of him actually leaving out of home for the place.

Brooklyn draws alot of her personality from her ironically stoic big brother. Although the two may seem like polar opposites, they really share alot when it comes to dedication, charisma, and sass. Brooklyn can be considered to be the more cheerful version of her older brother. A perky, charismatic, clumsy young woman that strived to be only one thing, a duel monsters champion!~

It is because of her goal and her strife to be like her brother that Brooklyn is so ecstatic. She takes satisfaction in bragging to others about her family, and enjoys boasting to others about her ambitions. Despite her pushy features, Brooklyn can be considered to be quite sweet at heart, and wields the incredible sense of humor that her brother never did. To top it all off, she is also known to be a bit of a flirt.~

History:
The Voyle family is a family mostly only known because of Kennedy Voyle, one of the world's top duelist, whom holds the fame of graduating from The Duel Tower. Her less well known younger sister, Brooklyn, has recently come of age to follow his legacy.

With a new semester rolling in, Brooklyn was quick to beg her parents for admission. It'd been a long term goal of hers to follow in Kennedy's footsteps, and the worldwide champion had taught his younger sister everything she needed to know. Not that she was nearly as good as he was, anyway.

Figuring they had nothing to loose, Brooklyn's parents enrolled her at the Duel Tower. Or at least, signed her up for the preliminaries.
