Undertale: Another Tale

Hello, and welcome to Undertale: Another Tale. This RP will be heavily based on Character Development and choices, allowing the plot to change based on what YOU do. Now, without further ado, lets go on to the plot.

Story

Years and years ago, Humans and monsters became involved in a huge war. Many died on both sides, but in the end, humans won. With a magic spell, humans sealed the monsters underground. Now, hundreds of years later, the monsters have found a way to return to the surface by collecting 7 human souls. Alphys attempted to create a device to store the souls, but it failed and the souls had to be placed into 6 monsters instead.

Yeah, I'd like to take a human soul too, and give it to my (proposed, I can think of another if you're not fond of the idea.) character, Monster Kid's big sis. Would it be cool if absorbing the soul gave her arms? Cuz uh... I would like her to have arms.

Either that, or Alphys could build her some SWEET ROBO ARMS. I'd be cool with that too.

@Scarifar If you do end up taking Undyne I'd like to discuss Monster Gal and Undyne's past. More specifically I want Monster Gal to dislike Undyne. Maybe out of a rivalry or something. Probably moreso tomorrow though. I have some stuff to finish up and I'm beat tired.

Age: 12
Appearance: Here.
History: Red was once a normal child with two loving parents, living happily in Snowdin. Good food, a few friends, laughs from watching the wacky skeletons.... life was great. However, that all came to an end when one human who came down killed a variety of monsters, including her parents. Red was devastated. She shut herself away, refusing help from her friends. Eventually, though, she was found by Undyne, who was kind enough to teach her how to fight. She proved herself to be a very skilled fighter, able to combat even Undyne on equal ground at times. She developed strong family ties with the Canine Unit, and considers them her new family. However, Red was still placed away from combat, near the CORE, due to her young age. She was fine with it though, since it was Undyne who sent her there, and she had heard stories of some of the Royal Guards actually being friends with some of the other Fallen Humans, only for them to die. She didn't want to think about losing anyone ever again, especially a human friend.

Kim Verandine

Kim's a tall child with long black hair that stops at the middle of her back, usually being in a high ponytail; tan skin; and a unique pair of eyes with her left eye being light blue and her right being dark brown, almost black. Turning thirteen recently, she still wears an oversize striped sweater that has three different stripes: the top being black, the middle being dark blue, and the bottom being black again. Her pants are light blue jeans that fold partly at the bottom showing brown angle boots.
History: She had a normal life with her father until a roar echoed above ground, with some of the people in the area going on a search to find out where that sound was coming from since they didn't know a monster that made that sort of sound. In fact, there weren't any monsters around at all. Kim didn't have anyone to watch over her since her father was one of the chosen people, so she took one of her father's weapons, an ax with a sharp blade but a worn out handle, to search for her father. She couldn't find her father, but she couldn't find her way back either, then fell down a hole with the ax still with her. Kim landed on some flowers, with the ax stuck in the ground at the edge of the flower bed. She kept the ax, then continued on with her adventure.

History: Mettaton and Nabstablook hung out with each other in the underground, having fun and listening to music, when Mettaton set up a meeting for her human fanclub. When she finally went there, only one other monster was there: Alphys. They had a great time together until Alphys showed Mettaton a drawing of a robotic body Alphys could create, and of course, Mettaton took the deal and left Nabstablook behind.

Ganley typically wears long, nondescript robes and a tabard with the Delta Rune embroidered into it. He wears spectacles, but sometimes becomes so caught up in his research that he forgets them, without seeming to effect his ability to see.

History: Ganley Nelos has been Asgore's Royal Archivist for a long time. He is a widower, his wife and child having been among the first casualties of the Great War, after which he retreated to the Underground before any of the other monsters. Once the barrier was erected, Asgore found him meditating in the Ruins, but Ganley refused to join him. He remained in the Ruins as Asgore and the rest of the monsters began spreading out, allowing the world to pass him by as he meditated. Every week, Asgore returned to the Ruins in an effort to convince him, and eventually Ganley admitted he was growing weary of his solitude, and allowed Asgore to lead him back to New Home, where he resumed his studies in magic. Much of his research was lost in the War, but centuries of work has allowed him to once again surpass what many people thought posible.

@chukklehed You don't need to claim Gaster to just use him as history (Mostly cuz hes still dead, unless somebody does want to play him and can reason how he is alive.) Approved, make sure he knows Tauriel since she stayed in the Ruins as well.

Hey, @Ryuzaki, why is it that Sans is the one who gets a human soul? Sure, he can be a badass when he wants to be, but he is also notoriously lazy. I doubt he'd be the first choice to get a human soul.

Also, not sure if you do, but do you need any Co-GM help? I'd be willing to take the position.

@Kafka Komedy I dunno, unless MG can give a decent fight against Undyne, otherwise I doubt Undyne would acknowledge her as a rival.

@Scarifar I'd believe so. They're both able to take down a human, I don't see it as much of a stretch that they would be facing each other on decently equal grounds. MG doesn't have training from Asgore though, she's mainly self taught, so she'd be somewhat of a worse fighter, but not hugely. She'd probably be way better at dodging considering she isn't wearing tons of bulky armor.

EDIT: Also those robo arm upgrades are sure to boost her combat abilities.
