His gimmick isn't really one that screams any particular songs at me, but somewhat related to his catchphrase: Don't Fear The Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult

Can't think of anything else, so just some cool era-appropriate songs:

Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart

Eric Clapton/Derek & The Dominoes - Layla

Kiss - Rock & Roll All Night

Uriah Heep - Easy Livin'

IVAN IVANOVICH IVANOWSKY

Name: Mikhail 'Ivan' Azarov
Hometown: Fairbanks, Alaska "Moscow, Russia"
Height: 6'10
Weight: 354 Lbs
Entrance Music: youtu.be/x2YlbiyiuMc (edited for more dramatic effect)

Gimmick: Outstandingly Russian. Making fun of the now collapsed Soviet Union, "Ivan Ivanovich Ivanowsky" is on a quest for power, determined to destroy all capitalist pigs. Almost never has any allies, unless there is another wrestler who shares his deep appreciation for the glorious motherland and communism.

Personality: Believe it or not, Mikhail isn't actually a soviet extremist! While his parents did hail from Russia, they weren't particularly patriotic and didn't imbue any ideals onto him as a child. He laughs at almost everything, which can end up being quite inappropriate if someone is genuinely upset about something. He often ends up in a position of intimidation when conversing, he always stands too close to the person he's talking too. He usually doesn't step in if other people are at odds with each other, instead choosing to watch them sort it out amongst themselves.

Biography: Born in Fairbanks Alaska many years before the collapse of the soviet union, his mother and father were never patriotic of their homeland, and never imbued any strong ideals onto him. He grew up fast, growing taller and heavier than his parents quite quickly in his youth. His low voice and up close demeanor often had people backing away from him and tending to stay away. As such, he never had too many friends, and never and close ones, but on the other hand, he never had any enemies either. Some made fun of his heritage and accent, but he simply laughed with them, and the would-be bullies just shrugged and walked away. What where they gonna do, attack him? Not at his height.

He worked manual labor jobs for a long while, construction, agriculture, even mining. He considered joining the army for a military career, but soon found a calling in professional wrestling. Employers picked him up and assigned him to the obvious gimmick he has today. He figures it suits him well enough.

He began his professional career in a series of losses, often being a ploy, an easily defeated bad guy for up and coming babyfaces. He quite enjoyed being knocked over and dramatically falling over the top rope, tumbling downwards with his massive size. His first highlight was being crushed and humiliated by Max Powers back in the day.

The managers decided to do a little more with his character and had him defeat a minor hero in a shocking turn of events. His first rivalry, although ending him with him being defeated in a down to the wire battle, he stilled gained a little reputation as a proper villain, instead of an easily defeated goon.

Wrestling Style: Tall, weighty. Heavy punches, body slams, throws.

Finishing Moves: Soviet Solution: A large, dramatic choke-slam onto the map, followed by a running elbow drop.
Over the shoulder slam

Common Moves:
Head Punch
Atomic Drop
DDT
Irish Whip Rebound Slam/Punch
Sometimes he just runs at an opponent and bulldozes into them
Bulldog
Big Slap

@Stekkmen Ivan Ivanovich Ivanowsky might have the best name ever. Just double check the spelling in your CS then post in in the Chars section. Also if you don't mind I'd like to use Ivanowsky as fodder in the opening RP in a match against Max Power, he's the perfect opponent.

I'm pretty excited for this.
So, when do we start? Directly after the match, or after Jack announced his plan?

How you introduce your character in the RP is entirely up to you, and it depends what story you want to tell. If you want something signifacnt to happen right after the match, start there. If you want to start with them hearing about the stipulation at the Battle in Seattle, that's fine too. Some other player may want to start with RPing about their own match, and that's also fine. We're all building towards that big Battle Royal at the end of the month, but how we get there depends on how we RP and the stories we end up telling both on-camera and behind-the-scenes.

Post up. The match is supposed to have taken place -before- the Max Power title match, but the conversation is happening in the locker room after the show.

Wrestles in a singlet.
Straps are down boys

Name: Bill Stevenson AKA Drayden
Hometown: Austin, Texas
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 285
Entrance Music: Dink

Alignment: Face

Gimmick: He almost has two gimmicks. In matches, he’s often intense and methodically destroys his opponents with careful technical wrestling. In backstage segments and promos, he’s a little more loose and silly. Think Kurt Angle in the 90s/early 2000s. Stuff like this. He can be a little rough on the crowd in certain promos, but for the most part he gets pretty decent pops because most people love to see someone get torn apart, and when Drayden’s coming down, they know that’ll likely be the case. He has an odd air of charisma around him that attracts people to him.

Personality: He’s the best worker backstage, and has been with the company for a long time. Newer wrestlers look to him for tips and encouragement, and the ones that have been around as long as he has know he takes no bullshit. He’ll stiff someone in the ring if they’re trying to politic him backstage. He’s very blatant with the boss, very simply declining to job to anyone he thinks is beneath him, or he thinks he could have a money match with if it’s promoted properly. His finishers are heavily protected; he’ll refuse to use them if they won’t get the pin. Drayden is respected by most everyone backstage, and is usually happy with whatever storylines he’s in, most always in the upper midcard nowadays. He avoids the main event because he feels like he’ll end jobbing to Max Power, someone he does not respect in the slightest, believing that Max is ‘holding the business back.’

He’s been here for a couple of years now, and is trusted by the bookers and agents to put on good, safe matches with everyone, to the point that newcomers are often booked in matches with him(if you can’t have a good match with Drayden, you’re in the wrong business). Sometimes this strategy fails, because Drayden is capable of carrying matches with sloppier workers.

He’s the judge of ‘wrestler’s court’ backstage, and much prefers to be called ‘Drayden’ as opposed to ‘Bill,’ even by his fellow workers backstage.

Biography: An absolute freak athlete, Bill Stevenson was able to make his body do things that other people didn’t think were possible from a young age. In college and highschool, he was a wrestler and an unbelievably skilled one. He was an Olympic medalist before joining the GPW, where his highly advanced technical wrestling skills allowed him to easily slip into the business. He started as a heel, considering himself better than other people in the company due to his background, but was quickly humbled by a couple of the old hands in the ring. Since then, his character has been a face, and he excites crowds with his wonderful wrestling. He had a few world title shots early on, but came short everytime. After that, he found a spot in the upper midcard, where he puts on five star matches almost every week. As he’s moved on, his wrestling style has evolved from one composed of takedowns and suplexes, to a varied one, with plenty of striking and more traditional moves: i.e., powerbombs, spinebusters, etc, and the occasional top rope maneuver.

He’s comfortable and happy in his spot, and enjoys giving promos, which he’s found himself to end up being very good at. He rarely loses matches unless they’re on pay-per-view and against up-and-coming heels, or faces that he respects backstage. Backstage, he’s currently gunning for the GPW International Championship, which he hopes to capture and bring to the light as the ‘workhorse’ title, having no interest in being fed to the unbeatable Max Power.

He’s been consistently bringing this up with Jack, saying that, as Drayden, he can bring prestige to the IN title and make it one worth watching the show for.

Wrestling Style: Technical brawler
Finishing Move: Pop-up powerbomb, Olympic Slam
Common Moves: Moonsault(his ultimate move, only used in dire situations. He’s well aware of how dangerous it is, but often does it anyway, calling it in the ring)
German suplex
Tiger suplex
Belly-to-belly suplex
Crossface chickenwing
Lou Thesz Press
Big boot
DDT
Triple non-release powerbombs

@ZeusTheMoose

Yeah, sorry, I didn't make it very clear. Feel free to not respond if you don't want to, I'm more into my open tags but I figured I'd try to get someone's name in.

@Universorum Looks great except for a couple of things. I'm going to suggest making the moonsault his "ultimate" move, kinda like Vader. I understand that Lesnar did a shooting star press, but with Mike Blaze (a much smaller guy than Drayden) doing the shooting star every week, having Drayden use it sort of undermines Mike. Also this is a minor point but the GPW International Title technically would be the IN Title not the IC Title (although yes, it is our version of the WWE Intercontinental Championship). So yeah, make those minor tweaks and add Drayden to our official roster. Look forward to seeing what else you come up with.

@ZeusTheMooseOh, my bad I just went IC from our PM. ^^''

I'll change it to Moonsault, maybe he can do it like Owens did in his match against Cena... That frees me up a slot for a move, too! So I'll add something like a Spinebuster and move him over to the character section!
