It was late at night by the time Coch arrived to Ozpin’s Office. His body ached, the pads of his fingers burned, and when he arrived he didn’t have much energy left to stay awake. The guitarist was seated against the wall with his legs stretched out before him, his Stratocaster leaning against his left shoulder, and his mouth hanging open in a most unappealing manner. His eyes were closed and he was snoring softly—more than likely having fallen asleep without realizing it.

Chen let out a huge breath of relief as the Falthon fell for good. He grabbed his flask back from Coch and suddenly felt like his body was made of lead. Teleporting that much really took it out of him, he was lucky that adrenaline has let him ignore the worst of it for so long. Chen vaguely heard Coch ask for his own name and he smiled in return.

"Chen Jet. Good to meet ya Coch. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to head back to campus before I pass out." As he finished his statement, Glynda teleported onto the battlefield and told everyone to head to the Headmaster's office. Chen let out a groan and headed to the office with Coch.

By the time they made it there Chen was about ready to pass out. So he did, in the comfiest looking corner of the room he could find. His guns were sticking out of his sleeves slightly and his sunglasses on to keep the light out of his eyes.

Yu wasn't unconscious for very long, but long enough for her body to work through it's over intoxication. She opened her eyes slowly, as if she had just awoken from a good nap. The huntress suddenly remembered what had happened earlier, causing her sit up quickly, an action that she immediately regretted as she was hit by a massive headache and a bout of dizziness. She paused for a moment as she waited for the headache to calm slightly, realizing that she wasn't on the battlefield anymore.

She slowly turned her body on the bench, letting her feet touch the ground. In the corner of her eye, she spotted her partner, Bran. "I assume.. Everything went well..?" She asked tiredly, her speech was somewhat more formal now that she wasn't intoxicated. Which reminded her that she needed to refill the gourd at some point... Where was it?

"Bran. Where's my gourd..?" She added, her expression seeming quite alarmed despite the massive throbbing pain in her skull.

With everyone gathered in the large room, the door opened. From it, Rood von Rah came tiredly strutting out, looking around at the rest of them as he took his seat beside Coch, only a nod in his direction were the things he used to acknowledge the others.

Then Glynda came in, surveying the lot of them with a sigh and an adjustment of her spectacles. Then, out came Ozpin. He moved slowly and deliberately, looking at all of them with a grim expression.

"As you all know, a Falthon emerged from the ground today. I don't know what it means. I don't know why it happened. What I do know is that several students are dead. This is a horrible tragedy and their next of kin will be notified."

Ozpin paused to look at them all.

"I cannot let that detract from the amazing accomplishment you all have of defeating the Falthon in the first place. I want you all to rest for this week once you get your assigned teams. Prepare for the Vytal festival. Considering you came in late, I wouldn't worry about classes until after the festival is over. One of our professors will be working with you to ensure you develop as teams before the tournament is set."

He smiled at them, hoping to lighten the mood.

"I'm certain you're at least eager to know what teams you will be on."

A long pause.

"Bonny. Coch. Chen. Rowan. The four of you form team CRBC (Rainbow). Your team leader... is Coch.

Min. Bran. Yu. Rood. The four of you for team RMBY (Ruby). Your team leader is... Rood."

Ozpin sighed. He deeply wished this could be more exquisite. It was the least he could do.

"Go to your dorms. Rest. You will have time to get to know each other, and go over this awful day, later."

Bran looked at Yu then took the gourd from beside the bench and passed it to her. "Relax I got it Yu, I wouldn't leave your weapon behind." He gave his partner a smile and then listened as they were told their teams. "Team Ruby huh, cool so partner need me to carry you to the dorm as well?" He smiled and walked over crouch down beside her. "You were awesome out there Yu, glad to have you as my partner. Even if you are a drunkard."

Bran next looked to Rood, his leader then Seoyun the fox Faunus who had assisted. "So were a team huh? Well I'm happy to work with you all. Should be fun yeah?" He grinned cheekily at the group before looking back to his partner. "Well you guys can head on, I'm going to make sure Yu gets to the room and gets some more rest." He told them walking back over to the girl with the gourd.

As you all know…

Coch’s head snapped up in a start. His golden eyes widened and the back of his hand immediately went to his face to wipe it of the drool he had felt cool there. So the Falthon hadn’t been a part of the training exercise. He would have thought the academy to be demented if it had been. The old guy wasn’t one to pretend as though something hadn’t happened, reminding them all of the deaths. Coch bowed his head and closed his eyes as he remembered those students that had been mutilated and devoured before his very eyes. A hand went to his face, his palm pressing against his head as he tried not to cry over the trauma. It wouldn’t have been manly, and the others would have probably thought he was a bitch.

The guitarist bore his teeth at his negative thoughts and the amount of willpower he was using to keep the dam from breaking. He just had to clear his mind. Lowering his hand, Coch continued to listen to Ozpin unamused. He hadn’t even cared about the praise he gave them.

Vytal Festival… One battle after another. He had one week and he started to plan a break from the school to heal his mind. The beach…a beach house maybe?

I’m certain you’re at least eager to know what teams you will be on.

A private beach seemed the best and maybe he could camp on the shore instead. Fishing and camping sounded very relaxing.

Bonny. Coch. Chen. Rowan. The four of you form team CRBC (Rainbow). Your ream leader…is Coch…

Coch’s eyes blew up to the size of saucers at the revelation. He wasn’t even sure he heard right.

“Huh? Chen? Oh, ok,” Coch said, deflating and smiling in relief………..The guitarist then stood, snatched up his guitar, and just walked out of the room. As much as he wanted to pretend that he didn’t hear what he thought he had heard, he knew what he had heard and there was no denying it. He was a team leader. A guitarist…a support. When did that ever happen? He couldn’t deal with the news at the moment. His brain was still heavy with stress from the last fight and he needed to get outside and just breathe!

"Thanks, Bran." was all Yu could really respond with due to her current mental state. Her expression calmed significantly, turning into a smile as her hands retrieved the gourd. Not many people regard her gourd as a weapon, rather they refer to it as 'something she shouldn't be using' or 'just a bottle'. It was nice to hear someone else refer to it as her weapon.

When the teams were announced to them, she couldn't seem to wrap her head around how 'RMBY' was said as 'Ruby'. All she could sound out in her head was 'Rumby', which eventually turned into 'Rum'. Which was a nice thought while it lasted. "I.. guess..?" She responded to his offer with slight hesitation, she couldn't help but blush at his next statement. She never really got many compliments, not even her master or father commended her so highly for her efforts. Usually it was just a short nod and a grunt or a 'Good'. If she had been in her drunken state, she may have just turned it around to make flirty jokes with Bran, but unfortunately she wasn't drunk, she was extremely exhausted, and on top of that she was trying to stop herself from blushing. She was unsuccessful for the most part.

Yu's gaze moved to her new team mates. A tall blond boy.. He looked quite handsome and those muscles looked really.. nice. Then a really small... fox faunus? 'Oh my god, she's so cute~' was the only thing that ran through her mind. She couldn't really bring herself to introduce herself given the giant hangover she was having, so she opted to just introduce herself tomorrow.
