Okay SO! A few things I am going to post in this posty thing are: A few editable guideline expectations (based on your feedback they can be edited, they are just a starting point and not set in stone) ALSO! A request for people to correct the list of Husbands and Brides. (AKA, if there is a mistake, let me know, I will also let you know if you need to edit your characters down.

1. Character Limit You get characters in TWO families. For some that means having only two characters, others it means that you can have as many characters as you want, but they can only be a part of those two families. (I.E Libby made Scoot to go with Zil. I would not count Scoot as another character because Libby not being around would still only effect that one group and not the whole rp). I think this is needed so that the absents of one person won't kill the whole roleplay.

2.Posting Time The expectation is that you post weekly. We won't be evil about it, but if it is taking you longer than a week, but less than two, just shoot an ooc "Hey, RL, I'm trying I'll have it done by next week" not hard feelings and no penalty. Just communication so that we don't feel like we are shouting into cyberspace. If that is going to be a huge problem then this might not be the roleplay for you. Yes, we understand that RL happens and always comes first. But if you delay a responds that holds up your group by more than three weeks to a month more than once, then you are out. It is unfair to everyone else to keep them waiting. If we don't hear ANYTHING from you after four-weeks, we are going to assume you have lost interest and will remove you. You cannot be let back in because we will have already adjusted the rp without you.

-If you have a big real life thing happening that will 100% take you away for more than 4 weeks, write your character out for the time being. If you need a suggestion, I got lots, and when you get back, you can write them back in. Also, if you don't have time to write your character out, you can give me permission to and I will. I wish I would have done this when I went to Europe for two months. You don't have to think about it and you can hop right back in when you are ready.

-Note: We will also be very forgiving at high stress times, such as midterms/finals/idkwhatelse

3. We are FINE with double posts. You have one character ready to go but you are waiting for someone else to post/ You have one ready but not the other. POST! We don't care. This isn't the type of RP that you can get spammy with anyway. Let's keep it lively.

4. There will be events that happen on preset dates (in RL) to move the plot along. We aren't going to have anymore six months single nights. We have set the dates and we aren't changing them.

5. I would limit collab posts. Timezones aren't our friend and they SLOW US down for MONTHS. Don't be that(those) person(s). If you know it is going to be rapid fire dialogue this one time, do it. But since these are like little rps that make up a big rp...collabes are kinda pointless because the person you are collabing with is the same person who is going to have to come up with a response.

I would like honest feedback on these. I want to create expectations that will make the roleplay fair to all involved. That being said. If you have a problem with a particular expectation I do expect that we discuss it civilly and that your reasoning extends beyond the rule not working for you personally. It has to be for a reason that would hurt the group as a whole.

I think I got it all. If I missed any of your characters I am SOOO SORRRYYY!!!!! I'm still a little fever-ish and am taking it on blind faith that this post makes any sense at all :C.
I think Libby might have too many characters?IDK!!!!!

ANYWAY. Based on my findings, we need at LEAST two or three more brides (I know that one will most likely be filled with @Belle's character (Yes, you can still join)) Frankly, we don't NEED anymore husbands, but I still think we should be open to the idea of one or two more to help expand the world slightly. Also, if we get more husbands, we will need more brides no? Thoughts?

I'm a bit rusty with the first rule: does that mean that I need to have another character? I've only had one character since, and that had been good ol' Cuwarr. Other than that, I have no qualms with the other rules. Also, the Cuwarr x Kalani is still on the go.

I'll just say that I'm here. I'll have a post written and keep it on hold until we settle things though. (the post probably won't even be finished til this weekend anyways since I'm at school from like 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. because stupid night labs)

Also! If your family is changing (Like you are going to gain/lose some characters) I am asking that you either have your modifications made by Sunday, or have some kinda of a intro post that would help your new teammate(who ever they might be) make an easy transition into the roleplay. I might modify the date depending on how fast the new players get their character sheets up. But let's hope for an optimistic Sunday. If nothing in your family changes, I'm asking that you have a new post by the Sunday after next. I should have everything all up and running by then :3.

Also, Manatee wanted to be cool like me and Libby and catch the Death. So, they are still around, just taking it easy till they feel better.

Kasari seems to be the best set up to fall in a blaze of glory (so long as we're finishing up with the small tussle before moving on)... But killing off Sorrin would hurt more. Ack, idk. Ideas?

Daughter of the Earth and the Sky, Amalia's mother was an Earth elemental and her father an Air elemental. Amalia is a bit of a wonder among her kind, for to look at her you would think she was an Air elemental. While she got her father's looks, she recieved her mother's element.
Amalia has been raised to embody the qualities of Vivari, the Great Mother. She tries to be kind and strong and brave and nurturing, just as the Goddess and the Earth itself. She is very caring and gentle. When she was reaped more then a few cried for the gentle young soul that would be so tarnished by the cruel disgusting Drakken. Amalia fears for herself, but also for any children she may bear, should she survive long enough to bear any at all. The thought of leaving her parent's beautiful garden home and going to the dark realm of the Drakken fills her with dread and heartache. She is conflicted within, having been raised to care for all creatures and yet being filled with hatred for the Drakken for soon destroying her life. Amalia is the embodiment of quiet resolve. She is terrified, but behind that terror lies a solid strength that will be hard to break.

I have had her in mind since I first started following this thread, but now that I am actually posting her I'm unbelievably nervous. Seriously I bit one of my nails so badly my finger is bleeding slightly.

The whole burst of speed from her element thing? I'm not sure that that would be possible -- if anything I'd think it would be an Earth trait, the ability to cause the earth to rebound and put extra force in each stride or something. If you notice, all of the other Gems apply their elements in some direct form. I mean some is kinda abstract like Miry using the water as a cooling pad for injuries but it still physically uses water.

I guess I can't see how speed and air can really concretely be related, short of an air elemental physically lifting themself which would take an absurd amount of power.
