Now my biggest issue is that I can't find a good shark person picture. They are all either too furry or just mermaids with sharky bits. Anyone who can help me out or point me in the right direction will literally be my hero.

Worst case scenario I guess I could settle for a written description,
or if you're comfortable with a Level2 grade furry (see first page) I guess that could work too.
For the time being though I'll see what I can find.

I'm fine with the picture, I just thought you'd have the issue. I can work with the picture.Do you reckon he'd be even more at odds with the humans given less than human looks?

Oh I don't have an issue with the image at all, I mean I've taken part in a full-furry cast roleplay so the level of furry doesn't bother me in the slightest. Others might feel a bit uneasy around a full-furry, but I think the image you found is a perfect compromise either way.

As for being at odds with humans, most definitely xD
There's a few things that would make humans be uncomfortable around certain beastkin.
- Unfamiliar (Creatures they don't come across often)
- Predator Species (Tigers, Sharks, etc)
- Level of Resemblance to humans.

Your character would tick all those boxes... so he'd probably be the least liked from the human perspective (at first glance). Fortunately a few would also be absolutely terrified of him, so it sort of balances out? Maybe? xD

I think the best part about it is that he's a total sweetheart, the guy grew up around some pretty good humans. Quality, non-prejudiced types. The whole big scary predator thing is really only skin deep.

Personality:
Sweetheart: You wouldn’t know by looking at him but Neptune is an absolute sweetheart who would rather just hang around a campfire and cook fish than deal with all this surfacer mumbo jumbo. It really only takes a couple of minutes of talking with him to realize that he is pretty much harmless and just really wants to get this whole thing over with.
Gentle Giant: Neptune is very much aware of his appearance and the fear it can cause. Because of this he has made it his personal mission to be as non threatening as possible, making him more approachable but coming with the effect of making him a bit of a pushover. Bullies could easily pick up on this behavior and capitalize on it. God forbid someone push him too far however.

I think I might place down a cut off of aquatic creatures now though.
I can appreciate Nixie and Neptune's originality, but adding any more sea creatures would probably detract from the diversity. Always room for a tentacle monster... err octopus though xD

The reason I picked that picture was because I didn't want a character who was so cute it wasn't clear what gender they were. And Torao's just checking his flies are done up, that's all :)
