Rip Hunter can be seen as lazy. He constantly makes jokes and is never serious about anything. He is the nicest person you have ever met, making friends, jokes and laughing. He is a very calm, carefree and patient person who does not anger very easily at all. He tries his hardest to put on a friendly smile and help anyone in need no matter who they may be.

Rip Hunter's parents weren't exactly the greatest of parents. They didn't care for him much, they fed him and then ignored him the whole day. He was an unwanted child who was never loved by his parents. As soon as he was old enough he was kicked out of his own home. All he life they told him that he could be nothing, he was useless and every job he would try he would fail and so, he decided that if his parents weren't going to try to send him to school or try to teach him anything then he wouldn't bother trying to be anything. He became lazy and unmotivated thanks to his parents. Instead he wanted to be the opposite of his parents, care free and full of life and fun. He was too lazy to get a job but he would always be free to make people laugh and cheer. Every so often he'd see somebody in need like a begger or somebody being attacked. Rip would happily give to the poor or step in without a second's thought because that was the kind of person he was.

Jamaal Kirk Maddison has messy brown hair and emerald green eyes that seem to darken or lighten depending on his mood. His arms are slightly defined. He has average looking muscles on his arms. His legs however are a lot more muscular which indicates that he does a lot of running.

Jamaal Kirk Maddison is a very intelligent young guy, often predicting what had happened at the crime scene with relatively accuracy, but is often suspicious of everyone due to his line of work. He knows that anyone can commit a crime but not everyone will.

Although Subbon to a fault he will listen to others and their opinions and will politely disagree. Unless sufficient evidence is given from a reliable source he is unlikely to give in on his ideas or opinions.

He is very resourceful and he likes to learn and discover new things. He tends to be quite quiet when talking to people that he doesn't know very well as he is more suspicious of those he doesn't know. His confidence comes out more in his job and when he talks to people he knows well.

He likes to take the occasional forest walks and do some camping. When he goes up to the forest he would often bring a camera and a sketchbook, as he liked to draw what he could see and what was in his imagination. The forest relaxes him and is like a second home to him.

He also likes to bake. People often ask him to bake a cake for special occasions and it is sometimes a way he earns a little extra money. many people in Red Lake know him for his cakes

He has alway lived on the the outskirts of Red Lake but he had never stayed around for long as his parents were divorced at the time so he use to spent time with his dad then come back to stay with his mother.

They would occasionally arrange family holidays and that would be the only time they were ever together as a family. He used to be constantly bullied at school, the kids telling him that he was an unwanted kid and that he was the reason they got divorced.

This continues into secondary school until his parents died in a car crash. People stopped bullying him for two days before saying that he probably killed his parents. He grew up having a deep rooted suspicion and distrust for others that followed him throughout his life. His only comfort was his sololtude and his pets.

he never sees the need for longlasting relationships with others but he tries to maintain it anyway.
