My idea was to use sound as pressure waves. To confuse the enemies and mess with their spatial orienting (making them dizzy, vertigo, nausea & etc.), cause internal damage (as pressure waves) or even to produce pressurized air waves to cut things (not slash cleanly in half, that would be both OP and kinda ridiculous. Maybe a wound superficial enough to not hit internal organs or other vital areas, but deep enough to wound muscles or tendons to incapacitate targets.)
Something like that. Sound has a LOT of applications.

Thinking in making maybe a 18 year old character.
Graduated last year. Came back to the school as an intern teacher.
He isn't a staff member per se, but it could still help other teachers, watch their classes and even take a pupil, if the student in question so desires.
Thought about that so I could interact with the other students a little bit more, and at the same time, supply the RP need for "staff members" (to pair students with their mentors.
