So this is more or less a rough idea I think would be fun to roleplay. Basically this is a thread about street heroes that fight for the "little guy" and eventually get pulled into a team and save the world. Kind of cliche, I know, but bare with me.

Each of these heroes gets a letter, they meet at an abandoned warehouse type of deal, in costume, and they agree to form the team- or perhaps your character needs more convincing? The person who sent the letter isn't revealed, maybe some characters saying they did it to stir up trouble, but that's the least of their concerns. With every positive event, there's a negative. Just as this hero group rises, so do a bunch of villains. The group of heroes struggles to work as a team, balancing their personal lives, and possibly dealing with conflicting morals. A leader of the heroes will rise and take the rein, making or breaking the team.

That's really all I have for now, but it'll definitely have plots that let everyone get involved and give each character their own time in the spotlight.

As far as rules, all site rules apply of course, and please make one hero and one villain to keep the numbers even. If you have a problem with availability please let me know, I understand. As far as length, I don't care how "good" it is as long as it's at least 2-3 sentences. Please no one-liners. Also, please don't make any OP characters. If your character can control human blood that's still in bodies, that's awesome, just please give them some sort of restriction on it. No Supermen, Mary Sues, AKA no OP or perfect characters. Everyone has their flaws. Thank you!

Helena's jaw dropped. No way did he already have one. "A-are you serious?" Helena asked and held out her wrist for the silver bracelet. She couldn't believe that Trick had exactly what she was thinking of. It was unreal how many gadgets he had. How many of them did he actually use? She would say not all since there were so many and it seemed he only had one belt. Then again, he probably invented some sort of hyper cube that could hold anything, sort of like on a show she watched as a kid.
"Other than what I've got?" Helena asked and pondered for a moment, "I guess I would have some sort of invisibility pill or something. If I can take someone down nonlethally within the few seconds I'm invisible, it would be a lot safer and easier. Plus it would be better for handling hostage situations. But most of that stuff is for the comics." She thought about the irony of the sentence and quickly added, "Actually, scratch that, nothing's impossible in this world."
"Kinetic energy?" Helena asked, overhearing Ivy and Cecilia's conversation, "That's pretty amazing, I look forward to seeing that in action." She listened to Kyle's words and nodded. Perhaps that over activeness was a type of side effect to her powers? Or perhaps she suffered from ADHD. Either way, Helena didn't say anything about it and looked at her hand. There was an itch on her shoulder that seemed to not go away. She thought hard about her hand and about the anatomy of tigers. In a few seconds, her hand was transformed into a tiger's paw. The girl reached her back and carefully scratched her back. "What can you do?" she asked Kyle.

"I promise," Helena said solemnly with a curt nod. "Besides, who would I even tell?" she asked, trying to joke to lighten up the mood. She wasn't sure if he could sense her nervousness and hoped he couldn't.
Helena continued to follow Trick, her belt in her hands rather than on her waist. She still couldn't figure out what made him trust her, but she tried not to question it. In reality, if it were up to Helena, if she were in Trick's shoes, she probably wouldn't trust her. A villain deciding to change their ways within a few days wasn't something she heard of too often, unless it was a double crossing effort.
Helena didn't really think her gadgets needed an upgrade, but after seeing what Trick could do she figured they could use an upgrade after all. "Thank you," Helena said again. She followed Trick and gave Viper a nod in thanks and respect. She didn't expect the two to be this hospitable to her.
"Well..." Helena said and thought, "I don't think I ever have. I never had the money or time." She took out a few capsules and pressed the buttons on top. One opened up into a net, another into a hover board. She pulled out two guns and explained them, "This one is a grappling hook, the other a laser." She took out a couple marbles too. "Smoke bombs."
"Well, I'm not sure how likely that is," Helena said and fitted her belt to her waist. "The country is looking for me, not the city. I think it'll take a lot of good to erase the bad I did." Helena said all of this chuckling. "Actually," she thought aloud, "if I can do more hero work with you two, maybe that could help." She didn't know why she didn't think about it before. If Trick and Viper supported her, maybe that could turn everything around.
Helena was surprised the vision ended so quickly, but even more surprised to see her belt in front of her. "R-really? Just like that?" Helena questioned, "You know I'm genuine just by me choosing a road? B-but they all looked the same, how?" Her head kept running in circles. She gingerly took her belt out of Trick's hands, "Thank you." Of course, she wasn't sure if the test was over. She checked the contents of her belt and it was indeed hers.
