Background: Formerly a bounty hunter of some renown, Johanna's fate changed when she pursued a bounty into an uncharted region of space. Her ship was pulled into a large asteroid by some sort of tractor beam, the interior of which was a secret research facility. Unable to escape the asteroid Johanna was forced to exit her ship, where she was quickly subdued and captured with strange technology. She woke up in a cell, her captors never showing their faces, or even so much as speaking to her. They began to do strange experiments to her, injecting her with strange substances, forcing her to inhale different gases, and doing who knows what to her when she was unconscious.
Her captors never bothered to give her a mirror, but she could feel the changes. She felt faster, stronger, her vision clearer, her senses enhanced, and above all else she felt trapped. It was weeks before the more obvious changes appeared, her teeth becoming sharper, ears sprouting from the top of her head, a tail emerging. She was terrified by what she was becoming.
One day she was awakened by explosions and the sounds of gunfire. The facility was being attacked by none other than the Starfire Company. Her captors managed to escape, but the Starfire Company seized the facility and was able to free Johanna and countless other captives in the asteroid. Johanna, incredibly grateful for the rescue, decided to join the Starfire Company.
Personality: Shy and introverted, Johanna appears to be timid and cautious on the surface, a bit jumpy. She can warm up to people over time, but she tends to avoid people she doesn't know, especially the loud, noisy ones. Her personality shifts a bit when she's on a mission or in battle, she becomes very focused and calm, and simply tries to get the job done.
