Uh, I've got discord right now but not skypeso if it really isn't much trouble? I don't even know how I got this phone to behave and properly download/run discord...

I prefer discord at this point anyway so it's not really trouble at all. I'll send you an invite I made a server.
Excellent. Oh yeah did you say something about a team channel (are they called channels?) a time ago?

ah yeah we have one on Skype, though we can easily move it to discord if necessary.
Oh, I've got some fun times ahead of me. Can't start posting till later tonight, though. Emerald's shotgun gauntlets use some pretty compact tech, right?

Yep, they kind of have to considering all the firepower crammed inside them.

"I wasn't pouting!" Emerald's voice came out in a whine as her ears twitched erratically. Her face flushed when she realized her words had come out a lot more defensively that she had meant to be.

"I mean uh...sure, let me get the goggles..." She walked over to her desk and opened a drawer, revealing a pair of goggles with a neon green visor. She walked over to her soul sister and offered the goggles for Anna to inspect.

"So princess, what do you think? It's basically just a frame at this point, except for a few connectors and wires. It still needs internal components..." It was about then that Gren arrived in a timely manner with his helmet. She took the offered helmet. "Ooooooo thankies!"

As she looked the helmet over she gave Oswald a rather casual response. "Don't worry about it Ozzy...I'm sure me and Princess Anna can handle it without you juuuuuust fine." She nonchalantly smacked the helmet on the table and then started to pry the visor out of it before she began to yank the circuitry and other important parts out of the helmet.

"I was going to make them glasses originally but then I was like, 'Doh! You can't wear glasses Emmy you don't have human ears!' Hahahahaah..."

The cat faunus was smiling, but it wasn't the kind of smile you wanted.

This is gonna be a good day I can tell.

"Eh, forget it, goggles are lame anyway..." Emerald said dismissively to Gren. Oswald didn't seem interested in the goggles anymore, and Emerald didn't really care to work on them alone anyway.

As Gren took his leave, Emerald resorted to looking around the classroom. There were a few people in class that she didn't recognize at all.

First thing that caught her attention was the girl with the otter tail. Emerald was pretty sure she'd never seen the other Faunus before, and she was fairly good at remembering faces. The otter girl was talking to some hot guy who she also didn't recognize.

And wait a sec, is that a lion Faunus? Seriously, where did all these people come from?

Getting pretty tense over here I see.

Ok I'll leave now.
I can't believe last time we rp'ed Armory Class was two fucking years ago. I had to look up my old posts from then to remember what I even did lol.

Now you wouldn't expect it, but Emerald actually knew a thing or two about designing gear and weapons. She had built her original weapons after all. Of course her dad had helped her a TON with the design and pretty much everything, but still, it wasn't like she didn't learn anything from that.

She listened to Gren as he explained how he'd design Oswald's new gear. It was actually some pretty awesome stuff, Reactive Armor sounded badass. For now all this was distracting her from her more troubling thoughts, except when Oswald mentioned their last mission, that made her visibly shiver and flinch as if she could still feel that blade slicing into.

Ugh, don't think about that...

She shook that thought out of her head, there was no use thinking about that anyway, her wound was still there, but all it did was feel sore really at this point, by the end of the week it would be all healed.

Just in time to get injured again on our next mission, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay...

She blinked.

Damn that was unusually pessimistic of me...I need to distract myself.

Oh right, there were the goggles they'd been working on! She still needed to work on...a lot of the more technical stuff.

"That shield sounds freakin awesome. Though we also need to work on our goggles, remember Oswald?"
