The Knights Of The Crucible
Another resistance. They act in more extreme ways than the resistance. They could be friends but they might also be at odds with each other. They're cybernetic implants augment their already impressive mutagenic power. The knights of the Crucible are trained in the art of wielding a futuristic, mono-molecular sword, somewhat like a thin scimitar. These powerful swords cut through blast doors with ease. The Crucible Knights have been known to destroy entire office buildings, and ruthlessly hunt down anyone related to the Technopath or his associates, even family members. Their leader, the Archduke.

Archduke, Sir Reginald Colins.

Powers:
Enhanced physical abilities, an intelligence above world's record breaking I.Q, a healing factor, super human reflexes, and skill with his Crucible Sword, usable in two hands or one, instead of a usual one handed Crucible sword. The Crucible sword can be heated to the extremes of a light saber and still keep it's crescent shape. His light fitting armor can withstand RPGs, powerful laser gun weapons, even a nuclear explosion. (Reginald would still die from the impact of a nuke, however). . . Reginald has the physical capacity of one three hundred men with his cybernetic implants, one thousand with his Crucible Knight's Armor, and fifty men without either.

It is said there are many thousands of Crucible Knights, must be fifty thousand at least, but in truth, there may be less than three thousand.

As the Doppleganger attacked the other Shinnok, Shinnok showed his amulet towards the charging ninja of the Hayabusa Clan. An annihilating fireball soared into the material holding the Sky Temple up. . . crags of rock, both sharp debree and large bruising stones and marble, along with the searing heat of the fires roared towards Ryu Hayabusa. Shinnok once again wondered if the explosion, fire, and shrapnel like flying objects could put out Ryu Hayabusa for good.

Shinnok simply conjured his staff. . . knocking the talon out of the way. "Time for a change." Shinnok stated, as he cast a spell towards Ryu Hayabusa. . . Shinnok suddenly split into two of himself. One of the Shinnok's appearing behind Ryu as he was prone to attack on the ground, and Shinnok fired three green balls of energy, the same three types of projectiles fired by Shinnok before, following up with Shinnok conjuring giant skeletal hands out of the ground to grab Ryu and crush him.

Shinnok coughed blood from the edged weapon slicing near his neck, a blow that would have been fatal to a Human being. Since Shinnok had stolen the ninpo spell from Ryu earlier. . . he remembered to use it right about now, that he was safely away from Ryu. Ryu would have noticed him using the same spell. . . Frustratedly closing the wounds on all his body. Shinnok noticed with amusement that Ryu Hayabusa could have been the best Kombatant in the Realms. Conjuring a skeletal arm and claws, he soared the giant projectile at Ryu Hayabusa, all the more using his his magical skills to slam Ryu downward to the ground.
