How many are we going to wait for?

At least four, not including me.
I prefer to have guidelines with my characters and set a hard line on what they are and aren't capable of. Even if they don't matter to you, they were more so for me :)

That's fine then. :D
All right. Here's mine:

Name: Amy Martin
Template: Carnage (Marvel)
Appearance: Around medium height with a slender build. She has short black hair, which is most often much shorter on one side. Her eyes are green, and she looks to be around twenty-four years old.
Skill Sets Before Your Infusion: She was a graffiti writer, which would impart skills in stealth, evasion, and awareness of her surroundings, as well as being able to think in stressful situations.
A Theme: Urban punk, with focuses on street art and graffiti
Starting Stats: Her skills would mainly focus on ambushing or escaping from danger rather than attacking enemies head-on. She would have more focus on dexterity and wits rather than physical strength or durability. On a scale of 1-10, 1 being below average in normal humans and 10 being the maximum allowed level for a starting character, her stats are as follows:

Strength: 6
Dexterity: 9
Durability: 5
Intelligence: 7
Awareness: 7
Healing Factor: 5

I should have specified, stats aren't really a thing like that. They're more like this:
All characters have a minimum of Small Town level durability and attack potency, and a maximum of supersonic speed, and a healing factor that can rejuvenate your wounds over time. It can't regrow severed limbs in a fight, but if you have time to heal, it's a different story.

Maybe I should just delete the word "stats" from the oP.
*bump
All right. So, should we just post our character sheets here, or somewhere else?

Here's good. :D
All right. Another question I have is for the characters' abilities. Could I combine the abilities of two characters into one power? For example, combining Cyborg's abilities with Reptil's, resulting in the ability to turn any part of the body into some kind of biomechanical augmentation?

Uh, well there's a hard cap on how much raw force you can use. For now, you only choose one character, unless I forgot to edit the OP. So like, you can't unleash an onslaught that can destroy more than a small city at the moment, and as to your example, I guess maybe we could think about it when we come to it.
For our backgrounds, do our characters have to have a specific "job?" For example, if someone is a former petty thief, would that be a viable option?

Yes, "Job" means anything that grants you skill/etcetera.
Hey! This seems cool. Just a few questions before I know if I want to jump in.

1. Are you saying we need a template, or some kind of form of reference, from a pre-existing fictional character? Or am I mistaken? As in, terms of power, or overall character?

2. Starting stats is very vague. I'm confused.

But then again, I'm usually confused. So if you could clear these up, that would be appreciated!

1. Yes, you choose a character, and are infused with their power(s). I worded it weirdly because I haven't decided if your characters are actually going to be characters in this or if they just receive powers based on them.

2. Sorry, I forgot to post that.
I was just going to say what all characters are capable of at their base line.

All characters have a minimum of Small Town level durability and attack potency, and a maximum of supersonic speed, and a healing factor that can rejuvenate your wounds over time. It can't regrow severed limbs in a fight, but if you have time to heal, it's a different story.
The Year Is 2313. The planet Earth's Human population has been either eradicated, or worse, Humanity has been reduced to cattle for consumption, or "farmed" for blood and/or organs. You, the players, are the only free Humans left. Humans imbued with mysterious power. Some perhaps technological, others magical. The aliens are from an empire called "Krom". Their species are The Krom, The Greys, The Martians, and their Chittinoid hordes, which are much like xenomorphs from the Alien/Alien vs Predator movies. The Krom are much like the Predators, only unlike the Predators, they don't always care about hunting for a challenge or honorable combat. The Greys and Martians are the more scientifically oriented species of The Krom Empire. You come from the last safe house, from a sympathetic Krom and his unusually decent household.

You're the protagonists. You probably want to save some Humans.

Character Creations Are:
Name:
Template: Choose a fictional character from any medium. As for power level, consider upper level MCU for your characters. Scarlet Witch is the limit, Captain Marvel, Thor, Doctor Strange, etcetera. For now, your over all attack potency is capable of destroying a small city, regardless of how powerful your fictional choice for replicating. The event in which your character receives someone els'es power is called an "Infusion".
Appearance:
Skill Sets Before Your Infusion: (Were you a scientist, an engineer, a soldier? You can add a few more skills than you would usually have just from your powers.)
A Theme: (A theme based on your character. This will automatically get you an extra power.)
Starting Stats:
Is anyone familiar with and/or interested in a 'lords of creation' style game?

It's very much a collab world building, story telling type game.
Players take the role of new deities at the beginning of creation and literally shape existence.

It's done through an AP system which is regained weekly real time.
And follows simple spending rules.

And.... start the discussion!

I'm okay for it if I'm allowed to play it. I was one of the people who helped start it (as a test player) lol.
I don't have good memories of it but I can try!
