While Blizzard searched through the many books the healer had on her shelves, the old woman went about at making the cure for the illness that had been spreading and very soon she had made a sort of stew from the flowers. She went about taking some of it to all the victims of the illness and when she brought it to the chief's house, she poured some into a pour and had Hiccup give it to Castiel, putting the bowl to her lips and having her drink from it, "Once you have had her drink it all, the flower should take affect and she'll be awake within an hour or so."

The healer left after stating that and she had been right because within the hour the woman was awake, though no one told her anything of Ava's ailment at first and kept a blanket up to block the sight of the girl in the bed from her. When she first woke, what ever property the flower had in it make her out of it to the point she would hardly speak and struggle to keep her eyes opened as they were very sensitive to the light. As time passed, she grew more and more aware and was looking around. Hiccup had gone after Ava, she remembered that from when she had been awake before. Yet, Hiccup was here and her daughter wasn't. Looking at the others, she finally sat up and grew worried by the looks on their faces and quickly signed, asking where her daughter was.

Aurora, sitting beside her bed was the first to speak, taking her friend's hand, speaking gently, "Ava is here...she's just....a little sick right now." She couldn't think how to word it without sending the woman in a panic so she figured to call it a sickness was best for now, "But we're working toward a cure right now. Toothless is out getting something we need an Blizzard is looking through the healer's books. She'll be jut fine." Aurora hoped anyway.

But of course, Castiel signed that she wanted to go see her, standing up from her bed and then noticed the blanket hanging to block her sight. Before any of the others could stop her, she had moved to the blanket and pulled it back to see her daughter laying there so still and staring up at nothing. A gasp of horror escaped the mother and she grasped Hiccup's arm, wide eyed as Aurora moved beside her, quickly trying to explain.

"She's not dead Casitel! It's called being Moonblinked! Look, she's still breathing!"

Still holding on to her husband's arm tightly, Castiel slowly approached the girl, seeing her breathing still, but her unsure eyes moved to Hiccup's, worry in them to hear from him whether their daughter would be okay or not.

Right then though, none other than Toothless had burst into the home, ice sticking to his scales and small battle wounds clearly showing he had been through much to come back to them. Aurora shifted then back to her dragon state, approaching him as he set what looked to be the Mani Dragon's Horn on the ground. Aurora sniffed at it curiously before looking at Toothless. Her mate seemed to know this was what the healer needed and so in a rush, Aurora picked it up, rushing to the healer's home, truly hoping this would fix everything and the young girl would be okay.
Sounds good. Ground up horn and plasma fire.
It was no problem. I have school today so I had to go to bed as well. I posted. Hopefully it was okay.

So, what do you think should be the cure for Ava? I was thinking maybe it have something to do with either a Nightfury or Arcus dragon being able to cure it somehow? Either that or have it where while she is still out Einar's village finds out shes there and attacks while Hiccup isn't there, bringing her back to their village and maybe through them capturing dragons all these years, ect, knows the cure and heals her of it, wanting to use her someone against her parents? What do you think? One of those? Or do you have an idea of how it could be healed?
Aurora frowned slightly when Blizzard stated the Mani dragon had indeed stared at her, which meant right now, if they didn't find a solution to this, Ava's life was very possibly in danger. She could guess that after seeing what the Mani had done to Ava her mate had gone to confront the ancient dragon, which worried her slightly. She had only seen a Mani dragon once before, when she was quite younger and still living with her flock of Arcus dragons, but she surely did remember the great size of the Mani. The dragon had been large, much larger than the size of an Arcus dragon or a Nightfury. It would have been a tough fight if a real fight had managed to break out between Toothless and the Mani. But, she also had to remind herself that Toothless was alpha. He was strong and he knew what he was doing better than Blizzard and Ava had.

If anything, when she had first heard that Blizzard and Ava had taken off after those flowers, her plans had been to scold her son for taking Ava when her father had said not to, but seeing her son worrying about the girl she knew this was not the time. Besides, she knew just as well as everyone there that Ava and Blizzard were just like Hiccup and Toothless had been at that age. They took after their parents, so who could really blame them for that?

She watched Blizzard had the healer the bag that had been on Ava's person and thrown to the floor getting her inside in the bed. So, the two of them had managed to get the flowers. She was sure if Ava was awake, she would be telling arguing right now with her father, saying she had been able to do it and that he shouldn't have worried, where as her father would be arguing it had been too dangerous and something horrible could have happened. But right now, there was no arguing. There was nothing but a grim silence hanging in the air as the healer took the flowers and nodded, looking to Hiccup, "While the cure is brewing I will look through the books in my study for any clues to reverse your daughters state." That was all she could do for now. With a nod to the chief, she walked out, leaving the family and dragons time to themselves.
There I hope that was okay XD Feel free to use the healer/let the healer say she has a cure for this recorded somewhere, say she thinks there is no cure, ect. Whatever you feel like writing I'll be all for it.
The ride back to Berk was quiet. Worry filled the air over what exactly was wrong with the young girl and it managed to cause quite an upstir when the three of them landed back in Berk later that night. People had waited up for Hiccup to return, obviously awaiting for their chief and his daughter to be back victorious and with the flower that would heal the sick. The sight they saw was not what they were expecting though. The sight of a obviously distressed Blizzard and solemn Hiccup holding what appeared to them to be a dead Ava. After all, the girl was staring blanking with grey eyes many of them had seen after loosing loved ones, or from the dead after a battle. And while no one approached them, it was obvious in silence of the people in the village aside from alarmed whispers that they thought the worst.

Ava had been brought back into the chief's home, where the healer was on rounds, checking on Castiel, whom was unconscious once again. Maybe it was better that way as the sight of her daughter in such a state might have put the poor woman in a panic and worsen her state of health. Of course, when the old healer woman saw the state Ava was in, she ushered Hiccup to lay her in another bed that was in the room and began to look her over, obviously puzzled, "The girl....she lives...but is unresponsive. "What caused this?" She looked to the other two and when she was told a dragon caused this, she nodded, "I have records of this in a book somewhere. I will have to search through my study. Do you know the name of the dragon?"

By this time, Aurora, listening in while sitting beside her rider's bed, transformed, speaking, "The Mani dragon." When they looked to her, she nodded, "It is an ancient one. Not quite as old as the Arcus Dragons, but fairly close. There are many legends of them, but there is no need to go into those. These dragons though, they have an ability much like I do with shifting with my surroundings or the sea shockers have with electricity. They do this mainly with humans because they are weaker, but can do this dragons as well. They stare at them and as they do, a invisible gas comes from their skin and paralyzes their minds and body. We Arcus dragons called this being Moonblinked. We never discovered a way to reverse this ourselves." She looked to her son, "Son, is this what happened? Did the Mani stare at her?"
XD Kay, sounds good.
Ava really did hope the rest o this trip went smoothly and quickly so they could get back to Berk and get the flower to the healer before anyone suffered permanently from this sickness. Surely it would go well. They would get the flower and head back home. If they were lucky maybe they would be back home by that night or the next morning. Leaning down, she smiled and patted Blizzard's side in a reassurance and to let him know he was going a good job. She knew it must have been tiring to fly her all this way, and without many rests for that matter. She was really thankful for him. She sighed slightly with a smile on her face and as the time went by she just amused herself in picking out pictures in the clouds and looking about at all the scenery that passed them by.

Finally though, the island came into view. It was such a strange island. One that, despite the cold in the area and the other islands having snow, remained green and lush. With a confused look o her face, she looked down at Blizzard, "That's the island." Soon, they had landed and in pulling out the book to look at the picture of the flowers before nodding her head toward the field of them, "Those are it. Lets get them and hurry back." Then she went to it, picking the flowers and putting as many as she could fit in the sack she had at her waist. What they didn't use after all, they could save for if the sickness came back later on.

Once she was sure she had enough, she looked over to smile at Blizzard, rubbing his snout, "There. Now let's head home, huh?" Only after she siad that, there was a sort of rumbling that caused her to fall back on her bottom, looking around confused as a large white dragon came in through the trees, and seeing the presence of the human and the dragon, let out a fearsome roar, snapping its sharp teeth in Ava's direction. With wide eyes, she moved quickly to try and get on Blizzard's back, only to be knocked off with a swipe of the dragon's tail. And at first, she thought the dragon was going to kill her. Here she was, the daughter of the most famous dragon rider, and she was about to killed by a dragon.

But it didn't kill her, which confused her. No, it merely stared at her until her wide green eyes met the glowing blue eyes of the dragon. And whens eh did, she knew something was wrong. Her head began to feel fuzzy and her muscles didn't seem to want to work any more. The stare of that dragon was doing something to her and whatever it was, she didn't like it.

Very soon, the green in Ava's eyes seemed to cloud over and her eyes turned a shocking shade of grey, staring up at nothing. And all of her muscles did cease to work, her whole body going limp under the dragon, in a death like state.
Ava rode on with Blizzard and was watching the sun rise when Blizzard suddenly dived sharply, causing her to yelp and hold on tighter for a moment a the dragon gathered his breakfast. She laughed slightly, patting the side of his neck as he rose up again, "You just love to give me some scared, don't you?" The flight continued on, and later Blizzard began to slowly lower his position in what seemed like searching. Well, they had been flying for quite a while so maybe he was searching for a place to land so he could rest and she could get something to eat. She leaned over to help with that when the waves below the began to shift. It scared her and obviously had started her dragon as well because he moved quickly.

She looked wide eyed as she saw these huge dragons that she had only seen in books. It was one thing to see them on paper, as on paper they could be any size. But these things were giants compared to her. She leaned forward slightly as Blizzard began to move faster and she was grateful for it. While she knew they probably were just moving on their way, maybe catching food, it still made her nervous being around them. They were so big and their mouths were huge. They couldn't probably swallow a person with ease! Once Blizzard had finally spotted an island, she looked down, taking in the surrounding area. It was more of a group of islands around a mainland, though they landed on one of the smaller islands.

Taking out the book again, she looked at the map and saw where they were, "Well, the good news is we only have a couple more hours to get to the flowers." Se smiled and put the book away, going to catch her own fish. Once she had them ad Blizzard had started her fire, she cooked one of two of the fish and handed another to Blizzard for him to eat, as she didn't eat much anyway and those two fish were enough for her, "Let's hope no more storms come around to slow us down any more."

Once she had eaten, she climbed back onto his back and scratched behind his ears, "Let's get to this island. Hopefully the flowers are still alive."
Kay. Sounds good. :) Any other ideas while we're at it?
