Ava nearly jumped out of her skin when the door suddenly opened up and by the time she had turned to look at him, Blizzard had a blanket around him and had snarled at her, teeth bared, and for some reason, even in human form he was terrifying like this. She flinched, looking at him quite confused when he spoke, unsure of what he was trying to say and whens he just couldn't piece it together, looked to her father. Only, when she looked at him, he didn't seem to understand either. Frowning she stepped forward to look at him and speak, hoping maybe he could elaborate more just on what he meant, "It's....not that we don't believe you. It's just that we don't understand what your trying to tell us."

She raised her hands as if to tell him to calm down, having a feeling knowing they didn't see what he was trying to say would only frustrate him more, "Just...calm down. What do you mean that he's 'wearing a human skin'? If he's in disguise than who is he?" A beast masquerading as a man. What id he mean by that? She was so confused by this all, but al least want to understand what he was trying to tell her.
Hmm, that sounds interesting. Perhaps it wants to take over Ava because she is younger and more agile? What would we call this beast though? And what would it look like when outside of a body?

It was really amazing how busy things got around the Christmas season. It left Samantha so busy between all of the snowy weddings and all of the parents and kids coming to the old Garretson Toy Shop to buy presents and such that she found herself not really having any spare time for herself until she closed the toy store at seven. But, she didn't mind. It kept her busy and it kept her from thinking about things she didn't like to think about, especially during this time of year when those memories were more prominent. Smiling and humming to herself, she walked into the other of her father's shops she had direct contact with, Dillion's Wedding Boutique, and went around the back, picking up her camera when the manager, a young man named James, spoke to her, a grin on his face, "Out to take more wedding photos Sammy?"

Sam smiled and laughed, putting the strap around her neck and grabbing a couple of other things that went with the camera, pulling them into the camera bag she had, "Yeah. You know how people always wait until this time of year to get married. People just love snowy weddings." Putting the camera bag on, the one strap going across her shoulder like a messenger bag would, she shrugged, "I have to go get ready. Hopefully this won't last long so I can relieve Tony at the toy store."

"Don't you think your staying a little too busy? I mean I never see you just take a breather. You're always going, going, gone." The man, looked a her, raising an eyebrow, "Why don't you go out. Have some fun. Meet a guy--"

Sam crossed her arms and smirked at him, cutting him off, "Just because I don't have a boyfriend like you do doesn't mean I'm not having fun."

"Hey, hey, now. Don't hate. A boyfriend is a great thing. In fact, my Henry knows this guy who--"

"James." Samantha groaned in annoyance, rolling her eyes, "You and your boyfriend stay out of my personal life. I am perfectly fine without you two trying to set me up with someone, okay?"

Raising his hands in surrender, he chuckled, "Okay, okay. Go run off and shoot your photos. Who knows, maybe being around all those weddings might change your mind."

"I'll see you later James." Was her answer to his comment as she walked out of the store with her camera, before heading back to her car. She took a quick side trip to her home to get dressed into a more profesional outfit as well as put her hair up into an up-do before heading back into her car and to a rather old church that was decorated for the main wedding. It was really beautiful and she enjoyed being there, snapping pictures. But...at the same time, being there, watching how happy the couple looked as they said their vows, and how when they went reception the two laughed with joy as they danced their first dance, she felt like maybe something James had said about finding someone was true.

Slowly lowering her camera after taking a few pictures, she watched the dance with a soft gaze that had a little bit of longing to it, but the look lasted just a few seconds before she shook her head, going back to snapping pictures. Now was not the time to be day dreaming abut something that probably never happen. She sighed and took a few more pictures of the smiling people as the hours went on and at around three in the after noon the wedding ended and she was allowed to go, rushing off because she around a half hour late to relieve the man working at the toy shop. She came rushing into the shop, setting her camera bag behind the counter, "Hey Tony. Sorry I'm late. The wedding went over the time it was supposed to end."

"Its no problem. We weren't really that busy anyway." The man who was probably in his mid thirties grabbed his keys from under the counter, looking back at her, "Where's your work shirt?"

"My--" She looked down to realize she was still in the clothes she had worn to the wedding and sighed heavily, "I didn't have time to change. Its okay. I'll just deal with it until closing. You can go now. I'm sure you have places you have to be."

"Okay, if you're sure. I'll see you tomorrow Samantha."

She watched as her worker let and shook her head, walking over to put a few dolls on the shelves, smiling slightly to herself to find she could actually reach the shelves with her heels on. At least that was one good thing about forgetting to change. She continued to put things on the shelves and such, a small smile on her face as she tried to wait out until closing time.

...

"I don't see why have be here when Reinier gets home. It's not like he'd even care if I was here or not anyway." Derek complained as he stood in the kitchen with his mother, helping to fix dinner for that night. Derek had to admit, there weren't many grown men who would help their mothers with the cooking and it might have seemed a little weird, but he had always helped her out. After all, working in a hospital, his mother and his father never really got much time off and growing up with a brother who didn't help out a lot and was constantly running off to parties, cooking and cleaning was just something he had always done to help the family out.

"Derek, this is the first time your brother is bringing home his girlfriend. The least you can do is stay to meet her." His mother spoke, putting the chicken casserole into the oven and going to wash her hands.

Heaving a sigh he sat on the counter, "This is like the fifth girl he's bringing home this year. I'm pretty sure its not that big of a deal. Plus the two of them are staying until Christmas is over so there will be plenty of time to meet her later or whatever." He stated with a shrug of his shoulders. He really didn't see it as a big deal. He'd seen his brother with many girls, the good girls and the tramps, so to him, this was probably just another on his brother's list and surely wouldn't be the last if this relationship was like any of the others his brother had been in.

"You are staying young man and that is final. Now get off my counter, I just cleaned it." She said, smacking him in the leg with the newspaper, causing him to laugh and hop off of it. It didn't seem to matter how old he got, his mother still ordered him around like he was a kid.

"Fine, fine. But if this dinner lasts any longer than five I'm outta here." He made his way into the living room, laughing as the family's black lab ran over, attempting to jump up and lick his face, "Whatcha doin' Midnight? You need to go out?" He asked, walking with the excited dog to the back door and opened it up to let him out into the fenced yard. After he had done his business, Derek took to throwing a Frisbee out to the dog, grinning and laughing every time it caught it and brought it back, "You know, the older you get the better you seem to be at paying this game. You could probably out catch any of those show dogs they show on TV, huh boy?"

He rubbed the dog behind the ears, and after a few more throws, the sound of a car door opening and closing could be heard from the front yard, making the dog perk up and get excited, "Well....there they are." Looking down at the hyper dog, waiting impatiently at the door he chuckled, "At least one of us is happy about this little meeting." He smiled and opened the back door to walk inside again just as the front door opened up and the young couple walked in. The dog happily went to run at them, ready to give the two licks, but Derek caught him before he could give his love attack, assuming the two didn't want to be jumped on and slobbered on when they walked into the door, picking the sixty pound dog with ease, though, struggled only because the dog was wiggling around in his grasp, "Whoa! Chill out!" He laughed and waited a few moments for the dog to calm down to the point of when he set him down he padded over to the two in a still excited way, but didn't jump on them.

Walking over to this brother with a grin he shook his head and crossed his arms over his chest, "You know if you visited more he wouldn't be so likely to jump on you."

Shrugging Daniel put his arm around his girlfriend, "Been busy bro. You know how it is." Looking to his girl friend he gave her a kiss, "Babe, this is my little brother Derek."

Derek chuckled, "Always have to put the 'little' in there don't you. Never mind that I'm taller than you." He joked before looking to the girl, putting out his hand for her to shake, "As he said, I'm Derek. And I'm sure your name isn't 'babe' so what is it my parents and I can call you?"
Name: Samantha Garretson
Age: 23
Bio: Samantha's parents were always very kind to her. She remembered fun traditions, bright lights and decorations, and all the love she could ever ask for. Christmas was always a magical time for her, one she looked forward to year around. But, that wonder and fun ended abruptly when she was seven years old. She and her parents were driving on Christmas Eve to Tennessee to spend Christmas together in the family's cabin, when another car skidded on ice, right through a red light, hitting their car head on. Both of her parents died that day and she spent Christmas in the hospital, mourning the loss of her parents.
After she got out of the hospital, Samantha was sent into foster care, going through childhood depression. Because of this, most foster parents were unwilling to keep the anti-social girl for long and she was passed from home to home every month or so, never giving her time to adjust or settle down. This usually ended with her in a new place for the holidays every year with not so happy experiences. It was when she turned 18 and graduated high school that she left the foster care system and moved into a small home by herself. Her father had been a rather big business man in fact owning a few different businesses from toy stores, grocery stores, clothes, and even wedding shops. There were 20 locations in all. This left her enough money to buy her house in full and still keep up with many of her father's businesses. She has other people run most of the shops, but the two she deals with first hand is a toy shop up the street from her home and a wedding shop across town. She actually runs the toy store by herself as if it a smaller store, and she often visits the wedding shop to help and sometimes even takes up the task of doing wedding photography for couples in her free time. She keeps herself busy with all of this so she doesn't have to think about her past or her dead parents.
Appearance:

Other: She loves the toy store and it always makes her so happy to see children light up at the many toys she has laying around.

Name:Derek Simons
Age: 25
Bio: There isn't much to say about Derek. He grew up in a well off family, his father being a doctor and his mother a nurse, both working at the same hospital. His older brother was often in the spot light and he was just the younger brother who sometimes had trouble fitting in. Growing up he took to music something his parents didn't like too much, but he became very good at it. Now that he's older he work at a cafe fixing drinks during the day and at night he performs his songs there. Its a simple life for him, but he enjoys it.
Appearance:

Other: He knows his brother very well and has known him to be a player, dating nice women for the relationship, but going behind their backs to go out with crazy chicks who want nothing more than his money.
I sent the reply yesterday. It should be in your pms.
Ava shook her head, "And if I don't go they'll still be called either way! I'd rather go with him and take that chance that he might honor his word and not attack the village than him for sure attacking this place and hurting people!" She said, hoping her father would listen to her, "And if he doesn't call them than that still gives us a fighting chance. I can work from the inside. Find a way to free the dragons and stop him from doing more harm." She looked up at her father as he held her his story, and telling her that a chief protected his own, "Dad....I know your scared. I know you think you'll loose me, but I'm not a little girl any more! And if I'm to one day be the leader of this tribe, then I'll be damned if I let it gt destroyed by that man!" She said, gesturing out to the waters that Einar had just sailed away on.

She wasn't sure if speaking like she had would just make her father more likely to let her go, or if it would just make hi see her as reckless and keep her from leaving his sight at all, but right now, she truly felt going with that man would be the only option the village would have in getting a chance to build up and fight back without the chance of the skrills attacking them. After a moment she looked at him, quieter and a little more calm, yet serious, something that wasn't normally on her face, "It's the only choice Dad. he won't hurt me. He needs me to make those weapons of his. You and the others can stay here, take care of the people for now. I can figure this out dad. You just have to trust me."
Ava looked over at her father when he said her name sharply, about to argue with him over this matter. If she went, she would find a way to escape and come back. But not before freeing the dragons there and taking out any chance of Einar possible winning a battle against Berk She wished she could convay this to her father, but she could't without tipping Einar off to what she was thinking as well. Besides, even if she had tried to speak it, Blizzard had lept at the man, the two tumbling, leaving Ava wide eyed and unsure how to help her friend at the moment. She screamed out his name when she saw Einar strike at him with a knife, "Blizzard!" She panicked slightly and watched as Toothless managed to tackle the man off of him.

As the man went to his boat, Ava rushed to where Blizzard was, looking at the wound, a worried look on her face as she looked up and heard Einar's threat. If she didn't go with him before that time, Berk would be attacked by the Skrill. She knelled down next to her dragon friend as the fiend rode off in his boat, looking a the wound, relieved it wasn't to deep, meaning it was at least non-fatal. She looked over as Aurora approached as well, licking her son's wound to keep the blood from escaping any more and looked to her husband to carry the younger dragon back to Hiccup's home.

As the two older dragons took care of Blizzard, Ava looked back to her father, worry filling her gaze, "Dad, the Skrills. If I don't go with him he'll have the skrills attack the village and a lot of people could get hurt! Even killed! I have to go with him."
(Filling a double post with a gif)

Ava looked at Einar from behind it all, listening to him essentially insulting her and saying she was being tricked by these people. But it was far from that in truth. She had not been tricked or harmed by them. In fact it was the exact opposite. They had opened her eyes to the truth and had shown their love for her. When she saw him taking a fw steps toward her, she pressed herself close against Blizzard as the dragon curled his tail around her and bent over her in a protective manner and in this time, her father had stopped Einar from stepping forward, a flamed sword at his throat and even her mother had stepped in front of Blizzard in a protective manner, Aurora at her side, the dragoness growling and snapping in warning.

She glared at him, and was about to tell him to leave, that she had no desire to go home with him to that horrible island again, but her father beat her to it, telling Einar he wouldn't be taking another step toward her. But Einar obviously wasn't going to go for that and instead, sent out his threat. Skrills. Those beasts would tear this place apart and hurt if not kill many people. If this had been anyone else, Ava might have said they were bluffing about having so many of the dragons, but she had seen first hand the way this man worked and just how many dragons he had on hand and Skrill were no exceptions.

Ava felt like she was in such a bind at this moment ,unsure what to do. Of course, it would be her choice in who she went with, and should she refuse to go back with this evil man, her whole village would be destroyed. Her father seemed ready to refuse anyway but before he could, she stepped up, looking at the man, holding up a hand as if to silence Einar's call for the skrill, "Wait. Don't call the Skrill. I'll go with you. Just......don't do anything to Berk or the people here."
