Not sure if I'll post tonight. Busy day with lots of stuff to do. But I will try. http://static.zerochan.net/Sie-sie.full.895385.jpg And there is the url for the picture you can't see. Let me know if it lets you see the picture.
When he kissed her forehead and held her tightly to him, Cassie was able to relax a little bit and snuggle herself closer to him, nuzzled her head lightly against his before she smiled up at him slightly, "Yeah. That counts for a lot of things." Sighing, she stood up, stretching, "What an emotional morning." She said with a small grin his way in an attempt to lighten the mood, "Come on, Serix. Lets go get something for breakfast and then we can talk about how to pass the time for the rest of the day while we eat." With that, she walked with him to the food storage, grabbing a can that had tangerines in it. Sitting down, she began eating, thinking to herself, "Serix, how about after breakfast we try some more practice with our mental connection. I'd love to see more images. And, who knows, maybe if we keep practicing maybe soon I can show you images of Earth. Well, earth before it became this wasteland that is." Yes, earth with its bright blue skies, tall shining buildings, and hundreds of people walking about the streets trying to hurry and get place to place as their normal routines went on. Yes, normal stuff for her, but for him it would be new information to take in and see, and she was sure he would really like that with how interested in humans had had been since she knew him. "And....maybe a little after that....now that I have that door fixed....I was thinking I might go through those four boxes in the hidden storage...I at least want to see what else is in there. Maybe bring them to the bedroom to go through them so they aren't hidden away any more. Do you think you could help me with that?" In other words, she was hoping he could at least be there with her so she wouldn't have reason to start crying when going through them. And if she did, at least he would be there to comfort her.
So, there was to be a ball in two days time. When Mirabella thought of balls, she imagined the pictures from her storybooks. Large rooms. Beautiful decorations. A large feast set out for the guests. People dancing happily with one another. And in some stories, the prince finding his princess. All of that sounded so magical and unreal. And why wouldn't it to her? She was peasant, and not only that, a witch. She would never be able to set foot in such a party unless it was for them to burn her at the stake for their entertainment. Still, it was nice to think about, and to hear about. Nice to dream about too. Those things were really all she could do and would be the closest she would ever get to the high class event. Or at least, she thought that might be the closest she would get to such an event, before the prince himself asked her if she would be interested in singing at the ball for them. She had to admit, she was a bit taken aback by the offer. The prince wanted her, a young woman dressed in tattered clothing and of low class status, to come to the ball and sing? It was a little shocking for her and she wasn't sure how to respond at first. She stood there in silence, taking her cat from his arms as he held Grounii out to her, trying to think of what to say. In ways, it sounded amazing. She would get to see the palace again. How different was it? She remembered it vaguely from the very few times she had visited there with her father when he was alive. She was sure it was possibly even more grand. And the ball, oh how she wanted to see what it was like. She had never seen one in person. The money really meant nothing to her, but the safety of the guards was something that made her a little more comfortable in trying to make her decisions, and yet, also a little more wary as guards could easily assault commons like herself with being reprimanded, couldn't they? Biting the bottom of her lip in thought, she looked to him, racking her brain with what would be the right decision here, "I....I think..." She couldn't even believe she was thinking about agreeing to this, "I'd love to sing at the ball. But, I don't have anything to wear and I'm sure your father wouldn't want someone like me at a ball around so many people of royalty..."
There was something strange about this man. Despite him causally stripping out of his jacket, he seemed so unsure and out of place standing there in the room with her, knowing what the two of them were supposed to do together. Silently, Nelli couldn't help but wonder how a young man such as himself, with probably the choice of any woman he laid eyes on, would be here with her. Why wasn't he off getting himself a girlfriend or at a party. Why would someone of his status need to pay(or in his case, unbeknownst to her, have someone pay and set him up with her) to have a woman for the night? It was so out of out of position from the kinds of people she was used to coming into this room to pursue a night with her. She looked up at him as he approached the bed, watching as rather clumsy hands unbuttoned his shirt. Clumsy hands. Slurred speech. This man was clearly in some way intoxicated. To the extent of his drunkenness she didn't know. Was it why he was here? Maybe, maybe not. She began to go through reason in her ind once more, putting pieces together as though this disarranged man in front of her was a puzzle she could solve. He was very well dressed, so maybe he was a business man? No, no. He was too young. A student perhaps? He was around her age it seemed, so maybe he was a college student as she herself was. Or well, had been. Being sold against her will to the Yakuza had uprooted her plans and hopes of one day making a life for herself. Now, she was nothing more than a tool to these men. And the young man's words to order her about were a stinging and painful reminder of the truth behind her thoughts. Her blue eyes met his once more and she slowly nodded, "Yes Sir." With that, she did as he requested, slowly and numbly, almost robot like, untying the sashes and ribbon. She took her hair down from its bun, removing the decorative chopsticks from it first, her blonde curls falling over her shoulders, before she finally slid the kimono off of her shoulders, not letting her gaze meet the young man's as she did so.
XD you really do.
Really? Thats weird. It's showing up for me. Are you sure its not showing up for you? Which web browser are you using?
"When will you listen girl?!" The older lady, a heavy set woman with graying hair, banged her fist on the kitchen table of the small house they lived in, making Anna flinch slightly, "You are not to leave this house with my permission! If you keep running off like that I'm going to look you up in that room of yours until you've learned to behave! I swear, bastard children like you are always causing trouble! Wouldn't be surprised if one day you wind up arrested! In fact, I'd probably be dancing with joy the day that happens! It'd get you out of my life!" "I just went to the park is all...." Anna began quietly, though of course, barely even got that out before the woman was back yelling at her. "Oh, shut up! Go upstairs! I don't want to see your face for the rest of the night you little brat! If it wasn't for that money the government gives me for letting your pathetic ass stay here you would be out on the streets right now!" "Yes, Mrs. Graven." Anna replied quietly, trudging up the stairs. She was used to this. After so many years, twelve years to be exact, of living with this woman as her foster care taker and living with her verbal abuse, Anna had grown a rather thick skin. Used to be, when she was younger, she would cry her eyes out for hours after being spoken to like that. Now, she just took the emotional pain with a straight face and went on with her life, reminding herself that she would be out of here soon. Once she was out of high school, she could leave this place. She could make something of herself. Making it to her room and shutting the door quietly behind herself, she sighed, sitting on her bed as a small scrappy dog crawled out from under the bed, hopping over to her and sitting in her lap. She smiled and petting the pup, "Hey, Pooka. Hiding from the witch too?" Pooka was a dog she had found digging through the trash and had brought home a year ago. A first, the woman was going to send him to the pound, only to find out that in letting her have a pet, the government would give her an extra two hundred dollars a month. So, the woman tolerated the animal, locking him up in her room constantly. Anna gave him enough attention to make up for it. Looking over to the bedroom door, Anna thought for a moment, "You know...she said she didn't want to see me the rest of the night. So, she probably won't be up to see me until morning. We could go for a walk? Sneak out through the window. What do you say, Pooka?" She looked at the dog that barked and smiled, "Then its settled." Standing up, she grabbed his leash from her desk and stuck it in a small messenger bag she often carried with her, and after that was in there, she walked over to the window, opening it up. They were on the second floor, so it was always tricky getting down to the ground, but Anna had it pretty much perfected. Picking Pooka up, she put him in her bag as well, the dog laying here happily, his head sticking out of the unzipped big pocket watching as Anna stepped out onto the slanted few feet of roof ledge, taking careful steps, and when she got to the edge, looked below to see the trampoline in the backyard. Mrs. Graven had bought it to make it seem like she was a caring caretaker for the government officials that did the yearly review but this was only time Anna ever used it. Grinning to herself, she jumped down from the second story, landing on the trampoline and crawled off, heading as quickly as she could to the front of the house and to the side walk. She laughed to herself, walking backwards down the sidewalk as she looked at her foster home in the distance. he continued to walk like this, taking Pooka out of the bag, when she ran right into someone, making her stumble slightly, falling down on the ground, Pooka still in her arms and the two very disorientated. She looked up at first to see a very angry looking man standing there, and she was ready to pretty much get yelled at and cussed out as was normal for her to hear, when the expression on the man changed and suddenly he was helping her up, apologizing and asking her if she was alright, "Ummm....I'm fine. It was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." Setting the dog on the ground and connecting his leash to his collar the pup was not very fond of the man, even growling a few times in his general direction. The pup never liked strangers anyway, so this was something Anna ignored, "Sorry about that. I'l watch were I'm going next time." With that, she was going to walk around him to continue her walk, ready to put some distance between her and the foster home in case Mrs. Graven came out and happened to see her down the street.
Posted the CS Skele and my CS. I added a Bio section in case you didn't see as well. I'll start on my opening post soon.
Name: Anastasia, but goes by Anna Age: 18 Gender: Female Role: Anastasia Bio: Anastasia lived a happy like with her parents and older siblings. She was the youngest of five children and thus was well looked after and protected by all her siblings. She was closest though to her older brother Finnegan(or as she used to call him, Finny). She was just six years old when one worker in her father's business (whom had been fired for stealing money from the company) rose up and told many uncountable lies about her family, making the workers enraged. This started an all out riot in the streets of the large city they lived in, and soon the workers were breaking into the mansion. Her family members were killed, but Ana and her brother Finnegan had been snuck out of the mansion by a young man who's father was a worker that had remained loyal to the family. Outside of the mansion, the boy was leading them down the streets, where people were running around, destroying buildings and adding to to the chaos. It was this that caused Ana to loose grip of her brother's arm and stumble. The people trampled over her, knocking her in the head unknowingly in their running about, leaving her unconscious in the streets. It wasn't until her family was dead and things calmed down hours later, that she was found unconscious in the snowy streets and taken to a hospital. They had no idea who she was, and do to the many hits in the head, Anastasia had lost all her memories. The only thing she had left of her past was a silver heart necklace, scratched up her tumbling and getting trampled, with the only letters being visible being Ana. Yet, all people called her was Anna and so thats who she became. She was sent into foster care where she lived the rest of her life thus far, and now she is in her last year of high school trying to find her way in life.
