"Of course thats okay with me." Cassie stated with a nod when Serix mentioned that they should probably bring the food back to their room to eat it. She herself didn't feel like being around any of them at the moment either. She had told them all so clearly that Serix hadn't had anything to do the piolet getting in, yet no one had believed neither her nor him. She was still angry with all of them for that and she had a feeling that if she ended up sitting with any of them, she would end up saying something to all of them that would just make this situation worse, something she and Serix couldn't have happen right now with everything still tense at the moment.

Sitting up, she kissed him once more before she stood up and stretched her protesting muscles that didn't want to move just yet. She was still sore all over from having to sleep on the floor of the cell, but hopefully that would pass after a day or two, so she didn't complaining about the aching. Besides, she knew there was no reason for her to complain about it when Serix had it much worse than she did with all those cuts and such on his back. She had no right to complain when he was hurting so much more than she was.

She linked arms with him when he stood up as well and then walked with him silently to the cafeteria where most of the humans had already sat down and were eating. Everyone pretty much stared at the two of them, all of different expressions on their faces. But, Cassie did what she knew was best for the time being, and ignored the looks, keeping her eyes straight ahead as she walked over to where the food was. Getting herself a plate and putting the food she wanted on it, she waited for Serix to get done as well, before she walked with him back toward the door, hoping to go back to their room before anyone tried to stop them or talk to them.
Honestly, she had been expecting Serix to agree to leave. After all, was it worth staying here if it could get Serix tortured like this and possibly killed? But, Serix apparently had other things in mind and other problems in his head that were considered far worse than the dangers in this cave, because soon he had hugged her close to him and kissed her, telling her that they were safer here in the long run and that with Hunter's plan having failed the worst was likely over. When he brushed a blonde strand of hair, she let out a sigh and leaned her cheek against his hand, looking up at him, "If you thnk we should stay here, then we'll stay." She stated and looked up at him, "But, also, for now on, you don't leave my side. At all. You have to go somewhere to help someone? I go with you. I have to go somewhere? You tag along. I'm serious this time Serix. We can't be separated again."

Leaning up, she kissed him again then situated herself on the bed, laying down, pulling him gently to lay down next to her, "Now, get some sleep. The more rest you get, the better you'll be after all that they put you through." Once he layed down, she yawned and curled up against his side, being careful to not touch where she knew those whip marks were and closed her eyes. After not getting much sleep the night before, and in being in Serix's arms for the first time in the past few days, it didn't take long before she slipped off into a comfortable sleep, smiling all the while thanks to being back with her husband for now.

She didn't wake up until once again Quincy came through the curtain of their room, grinning all the while, "Well, look who's back in the caves." Crossing his arms, he nodded his head toward the 'doorway', "Lunch is starting in a few minutes. You two are probably starved. I would get there before the others take all the good stuff." With that he left, leaving the two fo them alone.

Sighing, Cassie snuggled her head against Serix's shoulder, exhausted still, "What do you think? Is it worth getting up?"
Cassie's eyes softened when he spoke to her and the way he said all of that, it was very selfless. He was only thinking fo her and not even about all that had happened to him. She sighed and leaned up, kissing him again as she spoke, "Serix, just because I may be one of their kind, doesn't me I fit in here. I fit in where ever you are." She nuzzled her forehead against his, "Don't sound so....self loathing. Part of being married is dealing with each other. You have to deal with my nagging and I have to deal with your tendencies to smart off to other people." She joked slightly and looking up at him, smiling slightly, "We may not be so accustomed to that yet, but we will sooner of later."

Taking his hand, she kissed the palm of his hand lovingly, sighing, "Serix, I don't want to force you to stay here if all you are going to do is get hurt by the others. For all we knew they were going to kill you! If there's a risk that could happen again, if we have to stay here and basically be prisoners, wouldn't it be better for the two of us to go back to the hanger? At least there we could be safe and happy together without people trying to get in the way of us." She stated and looked back up at him, meeting his gaze, "Serix, I'm willing to do what you think is best."

Whatever he decided they should do, she up for it as long as it was her staying with him. She was so sure that Serix would say they should go back to the hanger. After all, there they were safe, happy, and closed off from the horrors of the outside world. Here, the trouble of their world was thrown into their face and they were forced to deal with people that they didn't want to deal with. So, wouldn't going back to that place be better for them? Cuddling herself close to him, she looked up at him, waiting for his answer patiently.
Cassie watched as Ryan banged against the cell bar's of Serix's cell, a hopeful look on her ace. She had watched when he had come in, the keys in his hand, and immediately began to hope that maybe they were letting Serix go. And apparently she was right, because as he came in he had went straight to Serix's cell and began talking to him, saying Serix's alibi checked out. She sighed in relief and watched as her husband was let out of the cell before the cell she was in was unlocked as well. She stood up and walked out, going straight over to Serix, kissing him gently and hugging onto his arm as she looked over at Ryan, nodding simply when he said they could rest until lunch.

She really didn't have anything to say to him right now. She was aggravated and frustrated it took him this long to figure out Serix was innocent. More so that he had unnecessarily hurt Serix for no reason. It was going to take a lot for him to make up for this, and right now, she just wanted to get to their room so she and Serix could rest comfortably. And so, as she lead Serix out of the hold, she barely gave the blonde male a glance. He would know how aggravated she was and hopefully that would make him ease off of Serix for a bit. She hoped anyway, though doubted he would. He was too hard headed and wasn't about to change that just because she stopped talking to him.

Leading him through the caverns toward their room, they got quite a few stares, some probably wondering why Serix wasn't locked up and others who were probably pitying what the two had been through the past couple of days. Either way, Cassie didn't look at any of them. She kept her eye either straight ahead or would every once and while glance at Serix. It took a couple of minutes to get back to their room and once there, she lead him over to sit on the bed giving a sigh as she sat down next to him and softly kissed his lips, "I love you Serix." She nuzzled her head against his and opened her mouth about to suggest they lay down and go to sleep, only before she could, a very hesitant looking young girl, maybe a couple of years younger than herself with her blonde hair covering one of her eyes, her visible blue eye looking at Cassie first before glancing nervously at Serix.

She seemed almost afraid of Serix, which if the others had been talking the horrible way she was sure they were, didn't surprise Cassie. The girl looked quickly back over to Cassie, speaking quietly, "I....I'm Terra." There was a long pause, the girl gathering ehr courage to speak again, "Y-you two missed breakfast." She averted her gaze slightly down before stepping in slowly, holding two plates o the food they had probably served for breakfast, "I thought you both might be hungry, so I...I mean...here." She said and handed the two plates to Cassie before shyly and quickly walked out of the room. This made Cassie smile slightly, "I wouldn't be surprised if that girl was scared of a mouse. So skittish." She handed the second plate to Serix and the two ate quietly.

When the two finished, Cassie set both plates aside and then went to sit behind Serix, going to massage his shoulder, much like she had their first day of work, thinking maybe if they had roughed him up, maybe massaging the muscles might help to sooth them. Only when she did, she couldn't help but notice him tense as though it were painful. She pulled her hands back quickly in surprise at hurting him, before she hesitantly lifted up his shirt without bothering to ask him, gasping in shock at the long and deep cuts on his back, quickly dropping his shirt back into place, sitting there a moment, unsure what to say at first. She was silently steaming, angry at both the men who did this to him and at Serix for hiding it from her. But, soon at least her angry toward Serix for this left her. She had to remind herself it wasn't his fault this had happened and he had been hiding it to not worry her. She couldn't be angry at him.

Slowly moving to sit in front of him, she put her hands gently on the side of his cheeks, kissing him once more, "I.....I am so sorry Serix....I....I can't believe they did that to you....." She whispered, looking down a moment before she looked up at him, her mind racing, "Serix...do you...do you think we should leave?" She knew that was sudden to ask. But, after all, they had put him through, she felt this was an option they had to consider. If Serix's life and health was in jeopardy, then she didn't want to stay here. They had mapped this whole place. They could get out if they tried hard enough and planned it at the right times. She looked at him, worry for his well being in her eyes as she waited for his answer while at the same time her anger toward the other humans mixed in.
Cassie didn't know who was right. Serix had never really lied to her before, so of course she should have trusted him that he was telling her the truth when he said what they had done to him wasn't that bad. But at the same time, she felt like he was just saying that just to protect her and have her not worry. After all, when they had brought him in there, he had stumbled pretty roughly and from what she had seen, the two times he had been brought back from those interrogations he was always so exhausted and ready to sleep. So, sure Hunter was probably just trying to get at her and make things worse for the two of them, she had a feeling, as much as she hated to admit this, he had been right. She had a strong feeling that they had been harming Serix. Yet, all Serix was showing her was merely a bruise on his cheek, saying they had roughed him up a little bit.

What was she supposed to say about this though? She couldn't force him to tell her the truth. She couldn't check him for any injuries they might have placed on him. Plus, he looked exhausted and ready to sleep. She didn't want to deprive him of rest if he really did need it. She could always question him about it tomorrow if she truly felt the need to do so. She frowned slightly still though, watching him lay down and say good night to her as he began drifting off.

"Goodnight Serix. I love you." She whispered quietly before she too layed on the stone floor, trying her best to get comfortable. She didn't fall asleep for a long while though, thinking about what might happen the next day. If they had found a tunnel like Serix had said, then one of two things could happen. The first could be that they could use whatever they found in that tunnel to prove Serix was innocent and that Hunter was to blame for what had happened. Other possibility that could happen would be that Hunter could use whatever was found to his advantage and turn it against Serix somehow. She could only hope the first option would be what would happen.

Rolling over as she layed there, she sighed and closed her eyes, finally drifting off for the night into dreams filled with horrible scenarios and nightmares about what might happen to Serix and herself if things went wrong tomorrow. Because of these countless nightmares, where Serix was often killed by either Hunter or Ryan, and she herself dying of either trying to protect him of from her own grief, she didn't get much sleep that night, waking up multiple times through out the night.

Finally though, it seemed morning came, because to Cassie's ears came the sound of footsteps coming toward the caves. Sitting up, Cassie yawned, rather exhausted from the lack of sleep, looking toward the cave entrance to see who might come in.
The wait once again while Serix was in interrogation was painfully long. She had to sit there in her cell, wondering what exactly they were doing to him. What had they done to him yesterday? Was it going to be like it was the day before? Whatever they had done then had worn him out, and Cassie hoped they didn't make it even worse on him now. She frowned slightly and sighed, leaning her head back against the bars at that thought, trying hard not to think of all the horrible things that could happen to him, "I hope he's safe..."

"Well, if it isn't our little alien's wife," a voice sneered from the entrance of the cavern. Hunter stepped around the corner, grinning at Cassie. "How's life in the hold?"

As she sat there, her back against the bars, Cassie heard a very familiar voice that she didn’t want to hear at a time of worry like this. It was the voice of the man who had gotten them into this mess in the first place. She loked over at Hunter’s way, her gaze cold as she looked upon him, “Its uncomfortable and cold. But, its warmer than your heart, that’s for sure.”

Hunter shot her a glare, "You better get used to cold, lonely nights, because your alien won't be around much longer once the interrogation team gets through with him." He smirked. "Yeah, that's right. I bet he won't even last another three days."

Cassie sat up a little and continued to glare at Hunter, “What do you mean? Its just an interrogation, not a death sentence.” But then, she thought back to the way Serix had been acting and this made her pause, looking back to the human, glaring at him more now, her hands clutching the bars of her cell tightly, “What are they doing to him in there?”

"He didn't tell you?" Hunter gaped at her in mock astonishment. He looked around and lowered his voice as if someone was listening in on them. "You didn't really think this was an ordinary interrogation, did you? Your lover committed an act of treason against us. Ryan's not about to let him off the hook after just a couple of questions."

Cassie continued to glare at him. So, Ryan was hurting her Serix. The only question was, how was he hurting him? And how long exactly did he intend to keep him? Was it really only going to be just a few days as Hunter said, or was he just messing with her head? Well, either way it was working because inside Cassie was mentally panicking at the thought of losing her husband. She spoke quietly, though her voice was quiet as she spoke, “He’ll be proven innocent. He is innocent. I know that. And you know that. It should be you in there being hurt, not him.” She knew it should be him in there and Serix should have been with her. But she also knew they would never believe her over Hunter. Hunter was winning and she hated it.

Hunter laughed, echoing Cassie's thoughts, "Who are they gonna believe: Me or an alien?" He shook his head and turned around, heading back towards the tunnel. "Like I said, that Lunairan won't last more than two days, tops. I suggest you get over him and start thinking about finding yourself a real husband. I know Ryan's had his eye on you for a while and there are plenty of other human bachelors in the caves." He laughed again and exited the room without giving her a chance to reply.

Cassie sat back after Hunter left, thinking over everything he had said. Was all he had said true? Would she loose Serix in just a matter of days? Or was he just trying to get into her head and scare her? She buried her face in her hands, trying to calm herself away from those thoughts, but, when she heard the foot steps of the men dragging Serix bak to his cell and she inced, seeing him stagger and this made her sit up straight, her eyes worriedly on him, not commenting on the news that they found the tunnel Hunter had used and instead focused on her husband and the pain he was in, "What did they do to you?" She asked quietly and continued, "Hunter came in here. I guess to try to mes with m, I don't know, but....he said they were doing more than questioning you...." She looked him in the eyes, "They hurt you, I know they did. Serix, tell me what they did." She pleaded, her hands clutching tightly onto the bars of her cell, her eyes searching his.
Bump. Been a while. Lets try this again.
Something was really wrong with Serix. The way he was acting was strange and she didn't like it. But, whatever he had just been through, he really seemed like he wanted to get passed it. Maybe if she couldn't be supportive of him by being there during the interrogations, then she could be supportive of him by being respective of his wishes. And right now he wished to rest. So, despite how much she wanted to talk to him more, she shut her mouth and held her tongue, letting him lay down in the cell. She sat there for a moment, watching him with a worried gaze for a long moment as he drifted off. It wasn't until she went to sit back that she spoke quietly, "I love you too Serix..." That was really all she could say for right now. He needed rest and she wasn't going to impose on that. And so, silently she layed back on the floor, staring up at the ceiling.

She didn't drift off for a while. She found herself staring up in that same place for a few hours, and it wasn't until longer after she was actually supposed to sleep before she did drift up. This made it so that by the time she had fallen asleep and the first guard, Ray, came in to watch them, she had only gotten just one or two hours of sleep. She sat up, a rather exhausted look on her face as she saw him come in. Unlike the morning before when Conner had come in with just one tray, Ray came in carrying two bowls. He slid one into Cassie's cell, and much to her surprise did the same for Serix. When she looked at him in a confused way, Ray chuckled, "You both already missed one day of eating. As a doctor I can't let you miss another. Its my job to keep people healthy, not starve them."

It was a simple stew with a few vegetables and beef in it, but it was still really good to Cassie. Sipping on it, she smiled slightly over at Serix. Well, at least not everyone was being so vicious toward she and Serix about this situation. It was good that they at least had someone who, even if not on their side, they didn't have to worry about him trying anything harmful. She was able to at least relax a little bit before the next guard came in. The day went a lot like it ha the day before. Silence between she and Serix while the men kept a close eye on the both of them. And, as they along, her worry raised more and more until once again, the men came to retrieve Serix and she could do nothing but watch on helplessly, able to do nothing to help him.
It was painfully quiet trying to sit and wait for Serix to get back, unknowing of what possibly might be going on. The thought of sitting here and having someone come in to tell her that her husband had been killed was in the back of her mind the whole time. Then there was the fact of if they were going to kill him, just what were they doing to him? Were they hurting him? What kind of questions were they asking him? Were they even questions that he could answer? Knowing Ryan he would likely make things extremely unfair for Serix, something she couldn't stand to think about. The time continued to tick by painfully slow and this made it in no way easy for her. She wanted nothing more than to rush down to where he was and put a stop to whatever horrible tortures they were putting him through.

But she couldn't. She was stuck inside the dark cell, sitting there with her hands wrapped tightly around the cold metal bars, her eyes on the door, waiting and waiting for what felt like forever or them to drag him back, hopefully alive. And when they did bring him back physically weak and exhausted, the relief of seeing him alive was clear on her face. Fatigue and hunger was something that ould be solved. A corpse being dragged back couldn't. She let out a deep breath she had been holding, her eyes on him as they tossed him so carelessly into his own cell.

The other men left. She could guess with how weak both she and Serix were at the moment that they didn't see the two having much of a chance of escaping and seemed to leave them alone for now while going to search for something out in the other caverns. Once they were gone and out of ear shot, Cassie turned her gaze back to Serix watching him for a moment. Cassie maybe wouldn't have questioned that anything had happened if he had seemed annoyed. Maybe if he had even seemed angry. But that smile on his face was something that rose a red flag up for her and made ehr frown, watching him for a moment.

"Serix.....what did they ask you?" She asked, warily. Jut what kind of questions had they thrown at him to hide something from her? It was scaring her. Carefully she reached her hand out through the bars, fingers stretching toward him, craving for his touch and to just hold his hand for a few moments which they could.
Nelli listened to the young man talk and when he finished speaking of how he felt guilty for even coming there and taking part in all that was going on, she slightly shook her head, avoiding his gaze, "Does it matter? If you hadn't come here, another man would have. There will always be other men. Whether you were one of them or not really doesn't matter."She stated. It was a fact of life for her now. She always had such a full schedule and never had she not had some one assigned to her.

Some nights she didn't get any sleep at all. The longest she had stayed awake straight without sleep day or night was probably about three days. That had been very difficult for her, taking on so many men. It had been when she had first been put into this position and so the constant torture of it so soon had almost been unbearable.

"You'd be surprised how many people who do know come here often. There are a lot of usuals who know exactly what is going on here and don't care. Then there are those who come here willingly that know something is wrong but don't really know what. They're always too busy getting what they want to really ask questions...." She sighed slightly, moving to sit more comfortably on the bed, straightening out her dress as she spoke again to him, meeting her gaze, "I think...you're the only one to really figure out what's going on here and seem to care. Everyone else just kind of turned a blind eye and went on with their lives. I'm grateful for your apology."

She gave a small bow of respect before pausing and looking back up to him, her bright blue eyes looking into his. Should she be really telling him all of this? Was it safe? Would it get her in trouble? Had she spoken too much? Would her owner find out? Suddenly at the thought of saying too much, worry flowed back into her and she nervously looked to him still, "Y....you're not going to tell anyone I said any of that, are you?"
