XD They are both so nervous haha. Poor things.
Anna was hoping and praying that no one would choose her. Perhaps then maybe she could convince the professor to give her an alternate assignment of some sort. But it seemed her prayers were in vain, because soon she spotted someone walking toward her. The boy from the hub. She could feel her nervousness rise as she stood there, silently pleading for him to change his mind and turn around. Or that he was heading for someone near her and not actually her. But, he stopped in front of her and spoke, her wide blue eyes meeting his gaze, an unsure look on her face as he spoke. He spoke causally to her in greeting before asking her to be his partner.

There was a reason she avoided him in the hub. Unlike most guys here at the college who were very vain and full of themselves, he didn't seem to be like that. It reminded her so much of Danny...and it hurt. Danny had died because of her, or well, because of Mira. She didn't want to be the cause of someone else getting killed. She didn't want to get close to someone, only to have something terrible happen to them and have to relive that pain all over again.

She would just have to be careful. She couldn't get too close to him. She wasn't meant to have friends or anything of the sort, so she just had to make sure that, if they were partners on this project, that she kept it as just that. Nothing more than partners. She woudl have to keep telling herself that and keeping herself in check. She couldn't hide away forever and had to learn to control her emotions, no matter how hard it was. Keeping herself distanced, but at the same time being able to work with others, was something she needed to practice, and here she had a chance to do just that.

Taking a deep breath in attempt to calm herself, she looked to him, meeting his gaze once more, speaking quietly, a slightly unsure expression on her face as she spoke, "I...ummm, sure? I suppose we could...be partners that is." She could feel her heart racing in her chest, her nerves over whelming her senses. No. She had to stay calm. She couldn't let anything happen here, in front of so many people. She couldn't let the horror of that night repeat itself. Taking a few deep breaths, she spoke again, looking up to him, "My name's Annabella. Or...well...Anna for short. If it's easier for you that is."

Maybe going to a place that wasn't so crowded would make her feel better. There were plenty of places to go. The library, study rooms, even some of the restaurants around the food hub woudl be quiet and less crowded than this packed room of students, "Should we....go somewhere? To talk about what our project will be about?"
There we go XD Sorry if its not the best. I was so tired and almost didn't finish lol. But I got it up! X3 Now time for bed.
Anna could feel her heart racing in her chest as she made her way quickly down the path toward the building her class would be in. She couldn't be around people. She didn't know why she thought she could do this. Why hadn't she just settled for a job without a degree? Her anxiety was up, eyes glancing about everywhere as she walked, worried and fearful of every person near her. What if someone found out what she could do? What if she was found out and locked up in jail? Or worse, experimented on? Panic began to rise in her and she had to force herself to stop, leaning against the wall of one of the buildings as she caught her breath and tried to calm down. No one knew what she was. She could keep it a secret. She just had to be more careful.

It was a psychology class, something that Anna wasn't too fond of. Perhaps it was because she knew she wasn't a very sound person psychologically that she shied away from such topics that were related to psychology. Yet, it was one of the required courses and so she had to take it, as much as she didn't want to. She took a deep breath as she made her way into the classroom and took a seat in the back, closest to the door in case she had to leave the class quickly and without much notice. Hopefully that wouldn't be something that would be needed, but it was still best to be safe, just in case.

Slowly, the students filed in one by one and she sat there as still and as quiet as possible, pretending to focus on the text book, her blonde hair acting as a curtain that shielded her face from those around her. It made her feel safe and hidden, so that she could look ahead and see the board as the teacher spoke, but those beside her couldn't see her.

The professor walked in, talking about different hings that she barely listened to, until he said the word 'group project'. Her heart sank at that term. She had to work with someone else? How could things get any worse? He explained the details of the project and she realized that, indeed, it could get worse. The partners were supposed to psych analyze each other and then choose a subject related to psychology to research. She didn't like this at all. The professor finished the instructions and then informed everyone to go ahead and choose partners, to which most people would immediately turn to their friends next to them to pick them as their partners. Some got up, walking around the large lecture hall to try and find a partner as well.

She herself felt so tense, standing there and looking around, hoping and praying that, perhaps, there might be an odd number of people and she could just do the project individually. Though, luck never really seemed to be on her side and she had a feeling that, despite her hoping for no partner, she would likely have a partner whether she wanted to or not.
Lol, tell me about it. Our professor pranked us too when that happened. He said he was gunna go see something and went off into the woods. We're all like 'no, don't do that' but he didn't listen. He started screaming and we're all freaking out. Only to have him come out laughing his head off at us -_- It took like four hours for them to come get us in another van, so we were stuck there for a very long time, pllus the ride back once the replacement van got there. Good crazy college story to tell though XD

Imma start on my post. May not be finished until this evening as well though lol.
No geology class camping trip XD Had to do that IRL. Horrible memories of cave diving and the campus van getting broke down in the middle of nowhere and in the middle of the night haha.

We could do that, the psych project of studying each other. He would definitely catch on to something being wrong with her physiologically throughout the project. ANd the cmaping trip to do some studies on human instincts is a great idea as well :)

I was gunna post tonight but I may wait until tomorrow. XD Im exhausted lol
Wasn't required for me XD I've never taken Psychology, so you'll probably have to take the lead on what they decide to have their project on lol. The only other class I could think of they could take together would be a science class. Perhaps they have to do research on something, both through books and observation. Maybe it might even lead them to go on a camping trip together to do their observations?
Yeah, let's go with that XD I have to admit, I put one or two off in real life, so I can say it does happen haha. What class should it be?
Hmm, perhaps they get stuck on a project together?

Name:
Annabella McClain(her real name is Mirabella McCrady, but she changes it after she leaves town)

Age:
19

Biography:
Mira grew up a normal girl living life under her overly religious mother. All of her life, her mother did almost nothing but criticize her, spit scripture at her, and force her to go into the 'prayer closet' for hours if she did anything her mother thought was wrong or 'sinful'. She was home schooled up until sixth grade when the school board of the district had it ordered she attend public school. The moment she set foot into public school, she was immediately targeted by the popular crowd and constantly put down by everyone in the school. She was shy and awkward, not leaving much room for her to make friends. But, there was one friend. Danny. Danny was unpopular like herself and the two just seemed to click. The two stuck together like glue and never left each other's sides when they were at school. Though her mother always ordered her to come straight home from school she would sometimes come home late and face the consequences or even risk sneaking out at night just to go hang out with him. They went on through the years like this. He was everything to her, the only thing she looked forward to in her sad life.

When she turned 16, something horrible happened to her. Her period. Her unstable mother had never told her about a period, nor had she ever even learned what one was. Her only thoughts she could possibly go to was that something was terribly wrong and that she was bleeding to death in the shower of the girl's locker room at school. In her mad scramble to find someone to help her, the other girls in the locker room did nothing but call her a freak and chant at her to 'plug it up' while cruelly throwing tampons and pads at her, even video taping the incident as she laid on the floor crying and begging for someone to help her. With the video uploaded to the internet and spreading all over school, Mira's life became all the more miserable. She skipped most of her classes, spending her time hidden away in the library, sometimes alone, sometimes joined by Danny who would comfort her and cheer her up. Time passed, and some forgot the incident, while others continued to bash on her for it. She eventually got the courage, thanks to Danny, to go back to her classes. It wasn't too long after the incident though, that Mira noticed a huge change in her life.

Strange things had started happening to her. A light bulb bursting here and there. Objects suddenly being knocked over even though she never laid a finger on them. It wasn't until the mirror in the girls bathroom she had been looking into shattered that she realized what was going on. She had powers. Amazing powers. She could move and control objects. It was in this realization that Mira felt....special. Unique. Like she had finally accomplished something. She worked and worked at her powers, slowly learning to control them and make them stronger. And it remained a secret. She didn't want anyone to know. Especially her mother. Her mother was already so close to the edge, she knew if the woman ever found out, she might do something horrible to her.

Another school year passed, and soon approached senior prom. She of course, hadn't been asked, but thankfully neither had Danny. So, it would be only natural that the two decide to just go together. She worked in secret, locked away up her room while her mother was at work, sewing her own dress. And finally, when the faithful day came, she told her mother she was going to the prom. Her mother of course disagreed and told her it wasn't right, and that going to such an affair and wearing something so unmodest as the dress she had made was a great sin. Her mother then tried to force her into the prayer closet, but this time, Mira was not going to comply. She wanted to go to prom, to have this one night. In a rash move, she used her powers on her mother, lifting her in the air and putting her in the closet, and locking it, as well as scorching the lock into place to keep her from breaking out. With the promise she would let the woman out after the prom was over, Mira got ready. She fixed her own hair, did her own makeup, put on her dress. She looked like a new person.

That night, Danny picked her up and the two went to the prom, enjoying everything and having a good time. It was during a slow dance though that things thickened for her. With she and Danny being so close together, it wasn't hard to guess something might happen between them, and it did. He kissed her. And in just that kiss, two of the lights in the prom burst. Everyone chalked it up to bad electrical issues, but she knew if the two of them were to continue their little romance, they would have to go somewhere more secluded. So, she took him down the hall of the school and the two of them snuck into one of the classrooms, where Anna finally told him of her powers. He was surprisingly accepting of it, and even said he suspected something of that sort, having seen certain clues that lead to that. He told her it didn't matter and he loved her with or without the powers. In hearing he say such a thing, the emotional Mira kissed him again and everything just seemed perfect. For once in her miserable life, she was happy.

The two went back to the prom, over joyed with their new found romance together. They sat down with all the other students as the people who put the prom together went up on the stage to announce who had won prom king and queen, only to be all together shocked and confused.

She and Danny had won.

The new dazed couple walked up to the stage, accepting their crowns and in their last moment of happiness, shared a kiss on the stage together. But, the moment after their lips touched, they were showered from above by none other then a bucket of blood, the horrible video of her terrified moment in the ladies locker room playing over head on the projectors as the crowd laughed and chanted just as the girls in that locker room had all that time ago. This upset her, and as she started crying, Danny grabbed her arm to lead her off stage to get her away from all the horrible people. Yet, she he started leadig her away, the hard metal bucket from above broke off its rope, falling and hitting Danny on the head. The room fell silent as Danny fell to the ground and Mira frantically knelt beside him, trying to wake him up. Only his eyes stared blankly up at her, clouded over. The moment she came to the conclusion Danny was dead, something inside of the girl snapped. The lights over head exploded, showering everyone in glass and things in the room bean flying. She mentally locked the doors, and no one escaped her. There would be no survivors that night. Each person died how she saw fit. They all deserved it for her years of torture. For taking away the only thing that had ever mattered to her.

When the deed was done, and the gym was littered with the dead bodies of her peers, she left. She wasn't sure what time the police arrived, or even when someone discovered the massacre, but no one would ever know it was her. She had made sure of that. She hadn't physically touched a single person, nor had she left a single trace had had even been there that evening. She ran home from there and upon entering her house, discovered something frightful. Her mother had broken out of the closet. The woods had literally been ripped apart from it.

She went around the house, searching for her mother, and unable to find her, went into the bathroom to wash the blood from off of her. She became frantic and hysterical at the sight of all blood, both animal(from the bucket of blood) and of the humans she had killed and quickly washed it off of her, crying and screaming the whole time. When she was free of the blood, Mira left the bathroom, in a fresh change of clothes and in walking out, found her mother standing there. In search for comfort from her mother, she ran up, hugging her. Her mother for once seemed relatively calm and offered that the two of them kneel and pray. The distraught girl agreed, kneeling with her mother hugging her. Only her mother didn't want to pray. Her mother stabbed her in the back with a knife. There was a struggle between the two, her mother yelling at her, calling her a sinner and a witch, and in a last attempt to save her life, Mira summoned with her powers any sharp objects she could think of that layed about the house. A dozen knives and scissors came up from their spots that had been laying and impaled her mother, pinning her to the wall. Even more hysterical and frightened now that she had not only killed her classmates, but now her own mother, she did the only thing she could do. She packed up anything she could find and stealing her mother's car keys and any money and credit cards she could find, set the house a flame and left, never coming back.

A few towns over, Anna rented a car and disposed of her mother's car in a near by lake, driving even further south in the rental, going hours before she found the perfect town. Small, quiet, a great place for her to start over. She figured some things out and using what money she had left paid for an apartment for a few months while she figured things out. She got herself a job. Figured out how to forge her own documents such as a new birth certificate, school documents, and anything else she needed. She was no longer Mirabella McCrady. No, now she was Annabella McClain. Once everything was settled, and she had a new her, she applied and was accepted in the local college, moved into the dorms and is now ready to start her new life, hopefully hiding from her past forever.

Appearance:
Not the best image with the watermark on it, but this is basically what I picture her looking like.

Other:
As crazy as it may seem, she has a few mementos from her past, locked away in a secret place in her dorm. The mementos include Danny's glasses(which she had took from his face when checking his head wound at the prom and had kept in her hand during the attack, as well as carried home with her), the still bloodied prom queen crown, a cross necklace her mother had worn, and the cell phone of one of her peers(the one who took the video of her in the locker room. the video is still on the phone).
