Mermaid or Merman rp? (Seeking male human or Merman)

I'm going to keep this pretty plain and simple and my partner and I can build up the rp plot together as we discuss. I'm hoping for a roleplay with a merperson(s) as the main character. This could either be a merperson x human pairing (preferably modern unless you just have a really good plot otherwise) or a merman x mermaid (I do have a somewhat plot for this one, a sort of star crossed lovers plot with merpeople from different areas of the ocean (Surfacers who live close to coral reefs and have no issues with humans and saving them now and again (thus the human's source of mermaid myths) and the Deep Dwellers who tend to stay in the deeper and darker waters (think bioluminescent merperson tails) and can't stand humans (I'm thinking these are the source for humans myths of Sirens).

Or if there's more than one couple we play as, we could mix the two pairing ideas together with the two species of merpeople and humans involved. We can discuss it as we plan. Just shoot me a pm if you're interested.

How to Train Your Dragon rp?

I just went and saw the new live action HTTYD and it's really got me wanting to rp something based in the world. I got two pretty simple ideas, but stuff we could work with. To start, for either of these ideas I would be playing the female character (I can play either gender for side characters, but much prefer my mains to be female).

The first idea I have would be a genderbent HTTYD with a twist. Basically with Hiccup and Astrid gender swapped (the other characters could stay the same if we want, something for us to discuss lol). However, I'm considering that when it gets to the point that Stoick has learned about Hiccup's 'betrayal', somehow Hiccup finds a way to leave Berk with Toothless, who she stole back. This could get into some pretty interesting stuff. Maybe with Astrid, even though having mixed feelings with himself about Hiccup's departure, taking up the mantel to train under Stoick to be the next chief. And maybe Hiccup even finding her mother and staying with her in the nest of the Bewilderbeast. We could work together to figure out where things might go from there, but even though it would be genderbent, after Hiccup's departure it could very well be a while new story of our own.

The second idea that I have would be a HiccupxOC kind of alternate universe where obviously things didn't work out for him and Astrid (ending amicably of course and them still as good friends). I'm thinking this will be where Hiccup meets the daughter of Drago Bludvist, who as it seems, is nothing like her father and sees herself in the dragons much like Hiccup had done.
One way this second idea could go would be right at the beginning of HTTYD 2, where as it comes up to the scene of Hiccup meeting his mom and seeing the nest, it turns out the daughter of Drago had run off long ago and Valka's found her. Her living amongst the dragons with Valka and taking on her on father to protect the dragons.
Another way could be post-HTTYD 2 (before THW) where Valka is already in Berk and Hiccup is the chief. Drago's daughter having accidently ended up on Berk (maybe during a fight or battle?) and they get to show her that dragons aren't anything to be afraid of.
Drago's daughter would have the Lightfury as her dragon (depending on which way it goes her either already having her or will meet her in the story). This could even go in to mix with some events in THW if we wanted, where they find THW and all that together.

"About Me"

Some basic info about me:

I am very much a people person and love to create more ideas and further the plot with partner. So if you have ideas to add to it or have a change you think might be interesting, please feel free to shoot me a message with your ideas. I'm pretty flexible on certain things lol.

About me? I currently work Monday-Fridays, off on the weekends. Most of the time I do post daily, multiple times a day, unless I just have a really busy day or have finally exhausted myself lol. I typically write at LEAST three paragraphs minimum, but usually more. It depends on my inspiration for the rp. I'm looking for someone that can post 3+ paragraphs. I understand that with some scenes that have to do with a lot of back and forth, especially intimate scenes, it can get a little lower on the word count, just don't give me one-two paragraph posts every time. That will quickly loose my interest. I tend to write based on what my partner gives me and what's going on in the story. So if you give me a bit to work with, usually I'll give you a bit right back.

I do lean heavily toward MxF with myself playing the female role. I LOVE side characters and little side plots/stories. Some of which I can take on little side characters that are either male or female. However, my main character(s) would be female. I also tend to write out any mature scenes, so if this is something that you do not want to do, please let me know before we start.

I also don't care if my partner themselves is male, female, or any other identity. A female writing a male character doesn't bother me like it might some. If you can write it, thats all I care about X'D So, you do you! If you're a girl playing a boy character, we can fan girl about our characters together! If you're a guy, we can still fan girl! If you can write it, bring on the character!

I'm pretty easy going, so please don't be scared to message me and ask about something lol. I promise I don't bite and am always respectful of people, potential partners or not. There are no dumb questions/ideas/plot twists here!

So I'm in a How to Train Your Dragon mood after rewatching the movies and really want to do a one on one rp based on it. Currently, I have a real craving for an EretxOC type of plot (time ranging from Eret in his youth before joining up with Drago and playing out even after he joins the riders of Berk). I am unsure if this will be short term or long term, it really just depends on what we plan for the story and how long we draw the story out.

The OC, which I will be playing, will have been a girl that Eret knew and cared for from his home village, who had been kidnapped by Drago when their village was destroyed by him (yes there would def be some secret relations between her and Eret while she's in the hands of Drago and he's working for Drago, before he joined the riders of Berk).

Obviously if it's just this one plot, it may be a shorter term roleplay.

However, if we wanted to make this longer term, I have ideas and ways to do so by adding more characters and details (I have a good daughter of Hiccup character and a daughter of Drago character to work with and a pretty deep dragon lore plot that could be a very long term rp with all its details lol. Even ranging generations of characters.)

So, like I said, I'm up for this being either short term with just Eret and the OC as leads, or more long term with adding more characters. Whichever my partner prefers.
