Sorry I was gone for the week and forgot to mention it here. I did a quick post and hope that it was ok.

Nightmare Carnival (Reboot)

Aisling sat down in the chair that was offered to her. In a few minutes she had gathered her wits enough to look around in the dark tent. She was still stunned and in a daze for she never had been in a disaster scene before. She was still not much of help to anyone yet for she barely knew her own powers. Her mind was still somewhat active and her mind took over her ability as if it was an inner being. Slowly a cloud formed over the tent and then more clouds over the circus. The clouds turned darker and rain started to fall so that it should dissolve or diminish the green mist and its smell.

As Mystique thought about what kind of a career she would like to do she thought about what she needed for each job. Number one job that sounded good was an Archivist and Dragon Rider. However if she was exploring uncharted and unknown places, she would need to know about how to make potions and how to live off the land so she would study for WIld Life Cooking Mastery and Medic Degree. Those two will compliment someone who might be traveling on her own.

Mystique read the list of trees carefully before she started to choose which ones she was going to have. She began to think about what each wood could give her. Some would help her in different ways and others would enhance her powers that she already had in her- not that she knew all of the powers she possessed- but some feel like they were the ones to choose. How should she choose the trees? She also remembered
Finally she decided to take the ones that would help her stay healthy then go by her feelings. She sent her selections to Lady Rosewoode.

Trees

1) Blue Stained Pines: Rare Wood: Birth, Abundance, Health, Fertility, Fortune, Love
2) Cocobolo- Exotic Wood : Passion, energy of the flame, ambition, adventure, even rage
3) Eastern Indian Rosewood- Exotic Wood: helps the user see into the dark, mysterious and hidden energies that can escape first glance. It is an excellent physical healer
4) Elder Flame Box- Celtic Wood: Faerie Magic, protection from evil, imagination, change
5) Eucalyptus- Exotic Wood: The strongest healing woods known, combating illness or promoting good health.
6) Katalox-- Exotic Wood: The wood of balance between light and darkness
7) Macassar Ebony-- Exotic Wood: Power to change, positive luck, balance of energy, breaks down social barriers.
8) Oak- Celtic Wood: Truth, steadfast knowledge, protection
9) Reed- Celtic Wood: Wisdom, scholarship, fearlessness, destiny
10) Rowan- Celtic Wood: Originality, free-thinking, psychic ability, love and understanding
11) Wenge- Exotic Wood: It possesses a very relaxed energy, encouraging slow, even thought. It is the perfect tool for meditation, especially for those who have trouble slowing their thoughts. It is also a healing wood, useful for a variety of physical as well and emotional healing applications. Worn as a charm, this wood would create a more even mood and centered thought. It would also calm the temper and encourage learning.

Mystique looked around the room and saw that Elizabeth and Ayaka were finished with their selections so she looked at Lady Violetta.

Lady Violetta saw that everyone was done and then she announced
"It is time for lunch. We are having fried chicken today with mashed potatoes, several veggies and cookies for dessert. Since I skipped Mind Control and did Outside of the Body Abilities with the other abilities course which worked out very well, I will be changing the order of classes. I'll see you in Mind Control class after lunch in this class room."

I am here again! Had a very good but active weekend so I am glad for the quiet evening of RPing.

Calling all Male Demons! And Human Females….

Bessie was finally ready to go downstairs. She had been dressed for a while but she was nervous about how the dance will end and who she was going to be paired up with. She kinda understood why but why can't they decide on their own who they were going to date? They were adults afterall.

She stood up and held her head up high and headed down to the dance floor. She had no idea what was in store for her.....

Mictlantecuhtli was checking the last minute preparations such as appetizers and drinks. He then gave the order that the 'guests' may come down for refreshments and socializations. A chocolate fountain with fruit nuts and other bits of food that was t be dipped into the 'waterfalls' should be a hit for the females while the various meat sandwiches were designed for the males. Cheese, crackers, veggies and other tidbits were on tables in the outer foyer. A drink station with various drinks- alcoholic and non-alcoholic- was place at each end of the room. Comfy chairs were placed about as well.

Good, I am thinking on how to start the ball. Perhaps with everyone meandering around a bit, eating appetizers and chatting......
