Mystique watched Fiona as she watched the seals. She could only hope that Fiona will grow up to be a wonderful lady....

Could have happened when she was a baby, loan? Like someone stopping her from shifting from seal or mer form to human?

True... I guess I overreacted but you are right. I just don't want to have any harm come to her, loan.

"You are welcome, loan." Fiona spoke into loan's ear.

I give you permission to get rid of the curse. I just thought that it was a line of crap that Naurene gave Fiona.

"Ok, loan. You're the best next to mommy." Fiona held her arms out to hug loan.

Vladislaus, thank you for relieving my mind on that subject but loan has found a curse on Fiona but it isn't strong. Mystique sat up in total surprise and slightly worried but didn't want to bother loan.

"How do you do that, loan?" Fiona asked.

Not to me but what if there is any complications? Would she need special blood? That is what I am concern of.

"Am I glowing, loan?" Fiona asked with her eyes tightly close.

"Mommy? Is it ok?" Fiona turned and asked.

"Yes it is." Mystique spoke calmly.

"Ok then." Fiona spoke slowly.

Too bad you can't see if there is merblood in her.... Mystique spoke to loan.

"Because my old mother said that I had a curse on me and she knows about curses because one of her friends was a witch." Fiona went back to watching the Seals and laughing.

I have the feeling because of her parentage. But I am not sure. Maybe I should investigate more into the paternal side.

Mystique and Fiona had arrived at the Seal's Cove where they could go under the water level and watch the seals swim.

"Look at them! I want to go swimming again. Mother said that I can't swim again ever!" Fiona spoke.

"Why not? You are very much capable to swim if you want to swim." Mystique asked.

'Because she said that I am not allowed to swim again. And I don't know why." Fiona answered.

"She is not your legal guardian any longer. I am you legal guardian and mother.I will be making those kinds of decisions." Mystique spoke firmly.

"Ok.......Even if there is a curse on me?" Fiona asked.

"It doesn't matter. You are mine and I am responsible for you. Now don't worry about it. Enjoy your seals." Mystique spoke as she patted Fiona's head. She went to sit against the wall and to rest for a bit. Slowly her eyes closed to hide the tears that threatened.

Mystique smiled as she went passed Toma.
"Looks like you have a new friend." she spoke.

"See you at the Seals!" Fiona spoke over her shoulder with a smile.
