So you're a warmonger? Because at the scale you're talking about, you're going to get stomped for that, hard. You're another nation attacking pillaging others; that's a lot harder to cover up than small independent raiders.

Yeah, pretty much this.

Piracy is what smaller groups do. What a group as large as yours is doing is warmongering.

Did you read my post? I said that my faction's size right now is not final. Also if you guys are insular and not very connected then that makes pillaging and plundering not too hard since there wouldn't be any alliances. Also my faction will trade if it makes a good profit.

That's why we are suggesting that you trim it down by at least six or so digits.

They attack anyone they can loot from, they are the pirate empire of the galaxy and they have heavy connection to the intergalactic underworld so they are also almost like the mob.

Well then I meant galactic underworld, and in my opinion if you have empires and civilizations that can cross the galaxy then naturally you would have crime syndicates. Criminals do not follow norms like lawful citizens do so regardless of how isolated you are, there is always the possibility of criminals who will use galactic space travel to make profits

Yeah, this doesn't really work in this setting, at least not in the way you are describing it. As ASTA and Tyren said, there is the problem that foreigners will stand out like a sore thumb quite easily, and make things difficult. Crime also doesn't exist in the Synch, so your intergalactic mafia is already shot there. The reason for crime not existing is that there is no economy in the Synch, and that Consensus is followed to the letter by all but Rampant constructs. Put in short, even if your idea was approved, it would have no hold whatsoever in the Synch's borders.

Another point though, and this one is more to help you, rather than say your idea won't work. You really should trim your population down by at least six digits, as the larger an organization such as yours is, the larger a target it is.

Cool, one more question, are energy swords allowed? They would be very much like lightsabers

Energy swords? Maaaaaaaaaybe, would require some actual technobabble to explain why it is that it has achieved this effect.

Lightsabers? Probably not.
Updated my sheet on the first page, decided to use my faction from the last one.
Theo still has not put down his own claim, as far as I can see, so he may be claiming that area.
While I appreciate Cosmic's efforts in making a compiled map, I much prefer his previous edit as it honored my claims in the original post rather than the claims Raptorman made in Skype.

The following is a map he made after discussions between him and Raptorman over Skype:

Edit:

Honestly though, the more I think about it, people really should look at the maps each person posts up and think about where other players are, rather than just taking the map off the first post and rolling with it. Gemcat has been overlapped twice now, and it has just happened to me as well. Think before you act people =D
Updated my military forces and Foreign relations =D

Your infantry can wear thick body armor if you want. This body armor would be more like thick metal plates sewn into pouches, it would be heavy, cumbersome, expensive, and have difficulty with high velocity rounds though of some effectiveness against pistol rounds and ricochets.

Glorious, that is exactly what I was looking at, though the plates would be more on the outside with a form of flak vest as the backer. High-velocity rounds are definitely a thing that will be a problem with it, though that goes without saying. Here is an image of what I was referring to, just to be a little clearer though:

Anything else from things sprung from your own mind to things from smaller nations of the era you can produce domestically as long as it is within your industrial capability.

With this in mind, I had an idea for my own nation's military forces. Eisenkreis is a heavily defensive nation that doesn't have an active air-force, with most of their servicemen serving in the Panzer divisions and as Panzergrenadiers. What little non-mounted infantry divisions they do have, I was imagining them as a sort of armored infantry, kind of like from Jin-Roh. Wanted to see what you thought of it before I just dropped it in my sheet as a surprise =D
Glorious. I would toss a few ideas your way in Skype, but it appears to be glitching out pretty hardcore for me.
