I was planning on X seeing the distress call on his UMMA terminal and then respond. Is it reasonable to assume there are portals and stuff leading to ships, since Yggsdrasil is the extra-dimensional base and all that.

X tirelessly tapped at a holographic keyboard inside the UMMA's HQ, Yggdrasil, more specifically the massive computer laboratory. Ever since the last of Sigma's attacks, the Jacob project incident, X had found much more time on his hands than he was used to. With his spare time he had managed to establish a city called Neo Arcadia, Abel city rebuilt and renamed, who's purpose was to be a safe haven for Human's and Reploids alike. The city soon became self sufficient, and established it's own council consisting of an equal numbers of reploid and human. With his life goal seemingly completed X decided to leave the protection of the world to his allies Zero and the Maverick Hunters, and establish himself in the UMMA a larger more important organization with the hope of establishing peace everywhere. Still in the computer lab in Yggdrasil X was currently trying to work with the mechanics on site to setup the proper equipment for his long term maintenance, on the side however he would pull up various report windows from Zero about Neo Arcadia, or recent reports about the Tanngrisnir; one of the UMMA's ships that had recently seen some action. X was tempted to transfer himself there to help, but with the situation over he felt no need. Sending off a couple more orders for parts X began to close out the windows and lean back into his chair, this time he decided to go through some of the more recent reports again.

Welp I guess it's time I started working on my first post, my first post hopefully won't be to bad, but it'll mainly just serve to put X into the rp until I can find a way to get him moving. I'm not entirely sure what's going on so I hope i'm making the right move.

Name: X - Age: 100+ Years, 14 since activation - Gender: Male - Appearance: - Canon, AU, or OC?: Cannon - Universe of Origin: Mega-Man X - Personality: X dedicates himself to preserving lives, of both machines and humans, because of this he is usually seen as a pacifist. However, after facing down Sigma he is now known as a war hero, X often tries to talk to his enemies in an attempt to understand them or to change their mind, tested in many moral simulations, X tries to uphold what he believes is the right choice because of this he is often called naive by many of his friends. But when lives are endangered he has never hesitated to do what must be done and takes his duty as a Maverick Hunter seriously. - Abilities/Weapons: (Not sure how far you'd let me go, but I kind of want to know if I can start him off with some of his special weapons or if i can get more in the rp. I'm not exactly sure how the rp works but i'm interested.) X-Buster: X's most powerful weapon. Converts solar energy into a high powered beam, with time he can gather a charge and release a stronger blast. When not in use, the X-buster forms a hand. Variable Weapon System: Can use weapons or systems copied from other robots or Reploids by copying their weapon schematic, or collecting the chip necessary to use it. Body Skin: Lightweight "Titanium-X" alloy. Broad-range Eye Camera: X can see at a far higher "framerate" than that of the human eye, along with an ability to analyze threats and objects. Ultra-sensitive Voice Recognition System: Can hear a far broader spectrum of sounds than the normal human ear can. Emergency Acceleration System: Accelerate in a blink of an eye, can run (dash) at enormous speed using hidden boosters in his legs. Original Reploid Body: X's chassis and internal systems contain multiple pieces of technology to complicated or to important to remake for the mainstream line of reploids, giving him an edge in his battles. Because he is a reploid X is stronger, and faster than most reploids along with humans. - Backstory: X was designed and created by Dr. Light to be a robot who could think and make his own decisions without programming limitations. Unique among all of Dr. Light's creations, X possessed incredible physical and reasoning capabilities. However, Light feared that, since X didn't have any moral programming to dictate his morality or actions, he could become a grave threat to the world. Therefore, he sealed X away into a special capsule that would test his systems in a myriad of scenarios designed to ensure that X would be able to discern right from wrong and be always willing to do the right thing. Apparently, this process would take more than 30 years, unfortunately Light was very old and would not live to see X leave the capsule and enter the world. He left a warning on the computer in the lab he placed the capsule in and ordered anyone that may find the capsule to not release the robot within until his testing was complete. X is a hot-blooded, committed, and strong-willed Reploid who has little tolerance for injustice. Though X fights with all his might against Sigma and his Mavericks, he is a pacifist at heart, something he might have inherited from the original Mega Man or Dr. Light. X would like nothing more than the fighting to be over, and for humans and Reploids to coexist peacefully next to each other, like his creator had always wished. He cares deeply for the victims of the war and for his friends who've fought so long with him, especially Zero, whom he regards as his best friend. X is easily frustrated when things go awry and rarely seems to understand the true motives of Sigma and other Mavericks - Faction: UMMA

Staring in surprise as Bruce Wayne of all people had emerged with a batarang in hand, as he threw it a brilliant explosion of electricity crackled around the intruders, seemingly stopping them in their tracks. Luke mentally kicked himself as multiple realizations slammed into his brain at once. Of course it's Bruce Wayne, his flaky playboy personality is only a cover. I should have known only one man in Gotham could have the motive, and the money to be Batman. Only one man could have designed the base Batwing suit, no doubt he had help from my dad Lucius. I suppose all those years he spent away from Gotham is how he got his extensive martial arts training. Glancing around the room Luke slowly tried to deduce the Bat families identities. The boy Damian can only be Robin, the blond girl must be Batgirl, black hair is the Black Bat. From what I've seen in the papers there's reports of a red headed Batwoman. Batwoman is she also..no, I doubt they're all related to Bruce. As for the other three men, who are they? Shortly after Bruce's entrance Luke was informed of his father's death at the hands of Mr.Freeze. Vowing revenge Luke began to boil in his own anger. He'll pay for this, my father did nothing wrong! He didn't deserve to die! As soon as I find him, I'll make sure he gets what he deserves! Trying to keep himself in calm by focusing on the mission, Luke began to slip out his phone and pressed an odd combination of buttons on the keypad, a combo that contained more symbols than numbers, and signaled his bunker to deliver his suit. With Luke's suit being to unwieldy to carry under his civvies or in his sports car he had programmed a personal delivery system. His bunker was to load up his suits' capsule into the back of his tumbler, a vehicle which Batman had given Luke at the start of his career in Africa, and find the most inconspicuous route to him in order to safeguard identities. Following Bruce and his allies down into the Batcave Luke couldn't help but be amazed at the set up. Dozens of vehicles, suits, and gadgets were on display or on a work table. Looking at some gadgets in particular his brain couldn't help itself as he began to think of multiple was to redesign and improve upon the tools and weapons. But his wonder and amazement left him as his father's recent passing hit him again. Arriving at 'ground floor' in the Batcave Luke began to look towards Bruce. "If you don't have a plan I'll go after Freeze myself." Luke said, anger seemed to drip through his words, even through his attempts at disguising his emotions.

So I've got a few questions, since i'm playing up a megaman would I actually be allowed to snatch up abilities in this rp, and is there a special way I should enter?

Well, as far as abilities are concerned, is it merely copying? And if so, how well can they be copied?

Well it is copying in my eyes, but they usually create a slightly different version of the weapon or a very limited version.

Does it actually work on anything other than robots?
