Current you know, my SO never forces me to say a thing that's on my mind and doesn't mind if I don't always explain myself which makes it way easier to actually tell them stuff. boundaries good.

as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

Later in the game means about 2 ingame days... I HAVE a plan for a character... A new one to use clockworks then switch to voider

...Why does everyone feel the need to play two characters all of a sudden? Not that it's bad or anything, but don't you guys think 20(or 19 if you don't count Keldeo, which I kind of don't) is enough?

Hell, if I didn't want Haas to go to waste, I'd have only played Ethel myself.

There's oversaturation, y'know. It's part of the reason why so many characters of ZeXal got like, no development. (And some of Arc-V as of right now too tbh...)

EDIT: Holy shit, not to mention 5D's. All those extras from the first half disappear into the void pretty much to never come back.

(oh and about the clockwork and Voider... Those are for the later game. not for now. So will they be used now.. not really, later most definitely. Apolijesus for thinking 2 far into da future)

Clockwork is an archetype I could actually not see used late game, it's too slow for that. It's more of an early game beast, with most of it's components working as an individual and not getting in the way of each other. More meta decks and the ones you'd actually want later on are a little more combo-ey, and most definitely rely on each other rather than no other.

Also, those were archetypes for later in the game...? Just how long do you expect this thing to run? I mean, not to say this is going to be the shortest thing in the world, but I'm not going to give you that much duels you'll be able to do two whole deck switches.

And even if those two got used, there's still the new Gravekeeper support, Neo Dark Scorps, Maiju support and Void support that probably nobody would play. You can't really convince me everyone'd claw for custom cards when there are more balanced, real-life packs available with better alternatives.

>did not actually advance stuff

Ethel arrived and only really saw a single person there, a blonde haired boy with Light dorm's jacket on who was panting heavily and slumped in his seat. Through some miracle they were the first to arrive, and she was second... Even though Ethel had gotten the first elevator. This must have been a really fast runner... The room she'd entered was certainly a sight to behold, and the color scheme was befitting of a Fusion monster. And the teacher who was sitting right at the front was also slumped over and fast asleep... Not that the teenage girl particularly cared. If the school hired this person, they must be good at their job to some degree even through their quirks. Ethel decided to seat herself somewhere out the way, a middle row. Not particularly in the back but not the front either, a perfect seat to just blend in. Now, nobody should-

"I like your hoodie Ethel." -bother her. The idea was flung out the window as soon as it arrived, a boy who was all too familiar seating themselves next to the bluenette. Angelo. The one who decided it was apparently his life goal to annoy her to death, this time by commenting on her outfit. "...Thanks." She replied in a dry tone, obviously displeased. She also outright ignored his greeting of good morning as well, being very uninterested and bored with Angelo already. The guy only made it in wind, how could he bring anything of value into a conversation? Ethel took out a small notebook from her handbag alongside a pen, scribbling a few things down. It was really just to keep herself busy and Angelo ignored.

Haas, on the other hand, was one of the later students to arrive, the door flying open when they kind of... Crashed into it. After going at ungodly speeds up a staircase it's a little hard to slow down, which would have resulted in a broken nose had this not been anything other than sheer luck on Haas' part. They were breathing heavily, but surprisingly not covered in a drop of sweat. He made his way over to one of the middle seats as well, though on the other set of benches compared to Ethel. Hayate and Hayato were a little higher up, and Haas spotted Hayato sitting next to Tsukiko. Heeey, were they friends now? That's great! The boy gave them a thumbs up from below, meaning to say 'Good job for being friends!', though to the untrained eye this could come over just as well as 'Good job on scoring a seat next to Tsukiko, Hayato!'

They wouldn't interpret it like that, right? Well, some other boys did. And one of them threw a prop at Haas who, by the way, had no idea what that was for. Poor kid seemed to be too naïve for his own good. At the front of the classroom still seated that teacher, being situated in the land of dreams. Was nobody going to wake her up?

I can understand that since it is annoying dealing with lots of information at once in large chunks and well I kind of didn't help there, but I also wasn't really aware of that either.

Well, that certainly doesn't make me feel any better. I feel my bad for not reading through the posts myself and trying to throw ideas out there. I guess I will take the fallout and heat for this one.

Stop the self pity. You were hardly the only reason I decided to stop the custom card activities, the only thing you're guilty of is being the straw that broke the camel's back. It's not the fault of any individual, it's the combined fault of the reasons I stated in my two posts going more in-depth into this.

Truthfully, if either Grey or Charak had sent me even 5 more cards than they already did it'd probably have had the same impact. I probably just needed an excuse to do this, and you were that excuse by mere chance and nothing else.

EDIT: I should really get back to my post...
@SilverDawnwhy me? the cards i made with charak were mostly his just the archetype was mine
also the stress was main reason i had the titanpad for custom cards in the first place, all cards in one place, everyone would look at each other's cards everyone putting their own opinions on each cards and balance things together as time goes on

But eventually they'd have to go through me anyway.

No offense, but no matter how much you balance it out between yourselves, I have to review them at the end of the day. Every single one.

And let me elaborate a bit on why I decided to suspend it:

The short is just a TLDR of too many cards, but the long is that I genuinly feel there is no point to all these cards you create. Don't get me wrong, a custom archetype like Voider or Clockwork is great, but people would need to use these things at the end of the day. Would any of your characters honestly use clockwork? Many of them have a different favorite card altogether, and nobody was really like 'Oh man, I have to get this entire new deck now!". Compare that to something like Silver's custom cards, which were just generic and splashable but still useful trap cards (For the most part). Sure, a little gimmicky, but usable and you'd think of using it if you got it into your hands. Would anyone really use the Maijus or the Neo Dark Scorpions? I don't really think so, even if they're cool concepts. That's why I made the custom cards still be an option at the end of the day, give people something else they can use that doesn't exist. And that won't happen with what you're all doing.

I wanted to expand on the 'Void Dragon' archetype because I knew Xei would do something with it if I gave them the chance, and I allowed Scarifar's new Parshath support and none of the others since that's a genuine thing he'd use if the cards were available to him. But nobody would use Voider, Clockwork or half the monsters Xei conjured up for the simple fact that there's either too much or no reason to. I don't want that, and that's part of the reason I suspended custom card creation. I don't want to have to sit through countless cards and accept them 1-by-1 if they're just going to sit there.

EDIT: Also, Silver was hinting at that PM you two sent me. They don't know the full context like I do, so it's a bit of a misinterpretation on their part.
Maybe getting a Co-Gm to help relieve the stress of cards would be helpful?

No.
....Yyyyeah can't think up of anything to write. Damn. Today is not my day. I'll see if I can get something up by tonight, if not, first thing next morning will be to get this stuff rolling.
@Xeiyenreisha They're ALL rejected, Xei. Custom cards in general were becoming too much to handle,.

Magic jammer stops it even starting andc considering the cards used it needs a specific few then factoring in the fact that you have to tune for this thing and then shift to xyz then rank up again.. Its not really different from spamming rank up magics is it ?

(though the other idea of the card was letting a winged beast monster rank up 2 if it had a Blackwing as a material.)

Skip force already ranks up two. And yes, it isn't any different, but the problem with RR Xyz cards is that they're already stupidly broken if you can get them out.
