as much as I'd love to pre-plan RPs, I've also noticed that's the fast track to killing them. A little planning and a rough gist is fine, but anything beyond that and people don't wanna write no more.

also kinda with your being GM your characters always to have a advantage over others so no matter what happens ethel and haas can do anything to any character

I hope you mean world record speed figuratively, 'cause you're no Bolt. For all intents and purposes Hayate runs only a little faster than everyone else, enough to beat them in a race but not so much that she's suddenly a human car. It's very plausible Ethel would be able to time that, especially since she was actively trying.

Also, being mad was kinda the point. I'm trying to have Ethel be actively hostile and looking down upon all non-light dorm members.

true... but i am also putting in consideration a person's perception... i mean she runs a lot. if she didn't run a lot she would have tripped more easily but whatever.


Putting your foot in someone's way of stepping would make ANYONE trip at that speed. Balance isn't really a factor when it's actively disturbed.

If she was someone like Transformer, yeah, Ethel would have broken her foot trying that, but she's not.

EDIT: Keep in mind, Ethel timed it exactly AS hayate ran through. So jumping over couldn't happen.

i do feel like you have stopped my character's movement so my character's location has changed from the academy to back to the arena but argh alright i'll fix my post to reflect that because its not accurate anymore


Well, you were making your way TOWARDS the academy. You weren't actually there yet.

Auto-moving would be pretty bad, honestly. That wouldn't give another person's character time to react.
