All I ask is that people communicate these things.

All I am going to say on this manner, is I am sorry if I came off rude last night. I had a long day and that isn’t what I wanted to deal with at all. When my sheets on a normal day span between 8 and 10 pages, I did a lot, a lot to cut my standard sheet into just barely 4 pages on the Google Docs. If I feel a detail is important to the character I will add it. While I am on the High End of Casual, I think that it was unfair to ask me to lower my quality standard.

As a GM I appreciate members who put in good writing and show effort. I have always been a firm believer that the more a member gives me, the more I could work off it and include it into the story. Because RPs are a collaborative effort. The member may spark something I the GM didn’t think of and I like those little details.

I will not as I have been RPing for 16 years to lower myself. When I crave interesting ideas and I crave expanding my mental gates. I did what I could to cut back, but that amount of writing is as casual as you’ll get out of me and I do not think it was fair to expect less out of me.

That’s how it came off to me at least. I shouldn’t have snapped. But I am still not joining a RP where the GM expects the lowest quality of work.

I'm afraid this idea can't work. Having a male character around would disrupt the setting more than you imagine.

You could perhaps, try to do a girl character. It can be a writing experience, to broaden your horizons. That is if you are still interested.

Ah nah. The last time I wrote a girl, I was harassed by another player about her. And it sort of ruined the idea that I want to publically write females. I write females in my novels. But I don't do it public.

And tbh those animes the reverse trap in a boys school also disrupts the balance.

At the same time to me it be an interesting read and would broaden my horizons as a writer, because I technically didn't want to be that lolzy and do a transgender character. But good luck in your RP.

What idea? I can't give am opinion without knowing what you're thinking around.

Oh well I was just thinking the classic trope of teh girl who dresses like a boy. But instead its a boy passing as girl. I don't usually do female characters. I don't think I'd portray them well
-shrugs- I'll give it a shot.

The question I have is;

Is the future I want still worth fighting for?
While I agree a GM has final word on story and plot. I also do believe a GM has to be flexible enough to accept or at least hear out ideas of their members. Its the GMs job when to know to bend their rules or not to. I do agree that a GM sometimes has to be blunt and to the point, I am blunt and to the point that I was called "hostile" recently. But the member of the RP kept pushing and pushing their point of view. We gave them an answer the nice way the first time, but they continue going on about it.

Happened on another website, where someone kept trying to give me shoddy excuse after shoddy excuse. Then wouldn't take responsibility for their shoddy excuse and tried to pin the blame on me. They uh also reported me too for "bullying". When it comes to being a GM I have a saying "It's policy, it's not personal" I have a policy. I have a standard. I am going to live up to that standard, but I will also be flexible enough to hear someone out. If, and that's the big word, IF they start off cordial, respectful, and word themselves properly.

"I disagree" is not the right word to use against a GM. Instead "I have some thoughts, do you mind listening". Sounds much better than "I disagree because [insert novel of why they think they are smarter or better than the GM or the plot of the RP]"

Be Respectful. I am respectful to you. Don't. There's the door and I am going to come off like an asshole.
I saw Yuri. Is this females only? Will there be male students? Or if you'd be willing to allow me a rather lolzy idea of an old trope, but with a twist.
effort and accessibility of a CS are two sides of the same coin. Don't let your creativity run rampant at the cost of no one being able to quickly review who you're supposed to be.

My sheet was accessible. It had clear headers of the sections. And I did shorten quite a bit down. Tbh, I am use to much longer sheets than that one. For me that is as brief as you're going to get from my normal standard. I am sorry if others are too lazy to bother reading it. Sounds like this was meant to be a Free Roleplay than a Casual one if someone doesn't want to accept some extra details to make the character come off with their own voice and alive.

The length of the CS is way too long from the powers down to the Bio that isn't so BRIEF. It was all caps for a reason LOL

Respectfully I wish you luck in your RP endeavors and I hope this RP goes well for you. I’ll be taking my leave because it doesn’t seem that you’re the type who respects the effort your members actually put into the game.
@Member 00492

What does that mean?

A sex doll.

That's too obvious
