Juniper practically skipped over the cheering table, grinning at her new housemates. She smiled brightly at Blair, who waved to her as she waited in like. Blair turned to wave at alexander but dropped her hand when she realised he seemed to be finding his knees more interesting
The calls continued until it was Juniper's turn. She tried to seem confident as she walked the few steps to the hat and sat on the small stoll. Her heart pounded in her chest as the hat was lowered. Almost as fast as when it decided Slytherin for Alexander, the hat made it's decision. "GRYFFINDOR"
Sure enough, it didn't take long for Alexander to get called up in front of the whole hall. Blair and Juniper stood at the front, Blair offered him her best 'You can do it!' smile while Juniper offered him a small thumbs up. Sure, she didn't like him but she wasn't an asshole.
Before the conversation could go any furher, silenct swept the great hall as the huge doors opened and the new fiest year students were ushed in. The group of children walked down the middle of the hall towards the front where the sorting hat was perched.
Blair and Juniper turned to where the voice was coming from and quickly brgam to head in that direction. Juniper paused for a moment and looked back at the boy. "You coming?"
Blair smiled brighly at Alexanders willingness to help. Juniper was a little taken aback at the offer but took his hand nonetheless and carefully climbed out the the boat. "Thanks Xander." Her tone almost friendly as she flashed him a quick smile
Blair smiled brightly at the gesture and took his hand, grateful for the assistance. "Thank you Alex!" She leaned ever so slightly, lowering her voice. "Would you mind helping Juni too? I get the feeling she might be a little distracted. You know, first time and all at Hogwarts?" She pulled away and offered another smile then looked to Juniper. "Coming?"
Juniper stood up slowly, careful to keep her balance. She stumbled slightly, pulling a nervous laugh from her. "Yeah, sorry. I'm not used to boats and water makes me a bit dizzy"

Juniper and Blair climb into the boat after the boys silently. Juniper offered Charles a small nod of acknowledgement and stole a glance at Alexander before quickly turning her gaze to the water. She smiled softly and grazed the water with the tips of her fingers.
Arthur ran up to the group and ruffled Alex's hair with a grin. "Come on lads! Cheer up! Think of all the hot girls there be that we can hit on!" He looks between Mark and Charles. "Or hot guys. You know, whatever floats your boat."
