I'll just mention that the Heritage Foundation scores Denmark higher than the US for economic freedom.

And they also have insanely strong property rights compared to the supposed "Land of the Free".

Honestly the only reason I haven't built a boat to take to one of the Nordic countries is I'm a full blown 'Murican gun nut.

You'd be surprised how many incredulous looks I attract when I start talking guns at the same level as the people behind the counter at a gun store, or talking metalworking and swords at a high level, etc.

Heheheh, well, I am the definition of amateur who has no idea what she's doing. Necklaces, rings, etc, I do like those - though I'm more of the mind to make stuff like a small knife or somesuch. Once I have greater skill I'd go into engraving and etching designs on a small dagger or something.

I actually had an idea for a celtic leaf blade with the pommel on the hilt consisting of a regular blob of metal, but covered in a celtic knot made of woven copper and silver wire, obviously with some sort of engraving on the hilt too~
