Lumine stands at a rather lofty height of 6'1'' (186cm), and has a lithe build. Her light blonde hair reaches her waist and usually flows free, but seems to remain eerily perfect throughout the day. For more formal situations, she will twine it into an elaborate hairstyle befitting the situation. Her slightly slanted eyes are opalescent in color, changing hues depending on the angle someone views them at, and she typically wears a generous amount of eye makeup to compliment them. Her pale skin is flawless, save for the occasional freckle.
Her taste in fashion varies, although she tends to dress up rather than down. She never goes without accessorizing, particularly with items that she wears atop her head. Her choice of headwear ranges from bejeweled circlets, such as in her picture, or
large hats. Her pointed ears sport a variety of piercings.
She walks with perfect posture and an Elven grace, somehow always appears to be looking down her nose at everyone and everything.

Lumine has a vibrant, fabulously flamboyant personality inherited from her grandmother, which sometimes gets her into trouble with her teachers for her commentary during her classes. She is the epitome of a High Born elf and loves anything well made or beautiful, be that an object or person (irregardless of their gender). Her ideas of beautiful are somewhat strange though, and she sees beauty in many different facets.
In contrast to her outgoing, cheery personality, Lumine can say rather harsh things and isn't afraid to criticize others. She has a hard time apologizing for things she knows she did wrong, and she has a rather peculiar pride. If she's insulted she wont lash out angrily but instead will become cold and calculating so that she can exact revenge when she sees fit (even if that revenge is only a single well placed remark). Things that normally insult others hardly even phase her.
Lumine's thirst for the unknown is insatiable, and she will delve into things that catch her eye with a passion, be it a person, a culture, magic, or anything else she's never seen before. She can be relentless, which can make her seem nosy or pushy.
Hobbies:
Lumine adores cooking and specializes in pastries and chocolates. She is rarely without something sweet and delectable to snack on, although she can make other delicious entrées. Opposite of her usually primp nature, she loves botany and visits the gardens every day to work. She is also rather fond of reading and in her free time she can be found lounging about the campus with a book in hand.
Familiar:
Lumine's familiar is a floating talking book named Grigsby. Grigsby can be a pompous, snooty little thing, but appreciates intelligence in those it speaks with. It can often be heard admonishing Lumine, as well as making stuck up comments about the students it sees doing things it deems inappropriate.
Grigsby was made by Lumine's grandmother to not only help keep Lumine company, but to also protect her. When she is in trouble, Grigsby erupts into a swirling vortex of light and magic that surrounds Lumine, preventing anything with ill intent from reaching her.

Lumine's paternal grandmother is the Queen Mother, the highest ranking elf of Y've Sythae. Lumine and her grandmother have a very close bond. Lumine is the niece to the current Queen and King, who have children of their own, which puts Lumine several positions away from ever succeeding the throne. Lumine herself is an only child, and her parents are
Duke Elyon and
Duchess Andúril. Her family on her mother's side are renowned sword-smiths, and have very little competition in Y've Sythae, if any.
Not surprisingly, Lumine is excellent at swordplay for her age, but deplores the practice as it was forced upon her by her mother whether she liked it or not. Her sword is named
Ilmarë, and was a gift from her maternal grandfather.
Y've Sythae is a Light Elven Queendom sitting near the Frost Stride Ocean, an eternally frozen mass of water. The Queendom is surrounded by thick pine forests and steep cliffs.
